From the Security in the Front to Rick the host, waiter and dinner..was an absolute pleasurable dining experience. Definitely would come back !!
Ambiance was beautiful and a bit “Great Gatsby-ish.” The duck could’ve been cooked a bit more and the skin was chewy. The cocktails were delicious. Service was overall very friendly and nice.
I came here a few weeks ago and the food was out of the park along with the service. This time the party was much bigger so I am giving grace because I understand a large party can be overwhelming if you have a full house. The food just wasn’t has awesome as when I had it a few weeks ago. I will be back soon but with a smaller group. Hoping I will have that first time experience as I did the first time around. Looking forward to editing this review.
Great food and service . Ambiance a bit loud for our taste. Unless you are in a booth , the seating feels a bit uncomfortable and spare. Fun to people watch though. Many large groups of fashionable Asian youth around.
The pandemic has been very difficult on the restaurant community. Sadly many of our favorite restaurants didn't make it and closed. Some of the ones that remained are just not that good anymore. Intercrew is a beacon of light in this world. We had the most incredible meal perfectly prepared last night. There was not one thing we had that was not exemplary and expertly served. A very creative menu, great service, wonderful ambiance. Whoever is running the show in the kitchen, is nothing short of being a culinary genius. As my mother would have said, "There was a lot of love in the food." This has now become our go to spot to dine........
Kevin my waiter was amazing with great recommendations. Live mini band was a nice touch. Oysters were fresh!
Incredible place!! And our waiter was amazing plus the food phenomenal!!
Nothing special. Drinks took over 20mins and the place wasn’t busy at all. Food was ok. It was a birthday dinner and they didn’t mention anything.
Absolutely fantastic experience from top to bottom from the food to the venue to the service. Highly highly recommend!
Every member of the staff that I interacted with were great. They went above and beyond to make the experience great and memorable. The food was great, great portions to share (or if you eat like me, to fill you). Drinks were very well done.
The ambiance and atmosphere was very comfortable.
I cannot say enough positive things about this place.
Tasty food, Amazing drinks and ambience. Highly recommend.
very nice and attentive wait staff. Chicken and side were well seasoned
Had a great time here! Both the cocktails and food were great. My favorites were the bolognese and mussels.
I’ve been to intercrew a few times now and the reason I keep going back is because of the food and drinks. The food gets better every time. The last time I went they had some new things on the menu which were all really so good. From the wagyu, bolognese, seafood paella but what really surprised me was the fried chicken. It was honestly the best fried chicken I had, they could sell just that it’s that good. The drinks are also another key reason why I keep going back they’re really on point. I think for the quality and ambience it’s totally worth the price. The only thing I will say is that I think the service can be a little better and more attentive. Most of the servers were good but it can get busy on the weekends. Last weekend we went the maitre d told us right away that our max stay can only be an hour and a half because they’re full house which I can understand but it would’ve been nice if they had mentioned that when making the reservation. We felt a little rushed at first because we wanted to enjoy our time, eat and have drinks without worrying about the clock but at the end we ended up staying a bit longer and it wasn’t an issue.
Love dining here. Great food and ambiance although noise level was high last evening.
My experience here was awesome! From the host to the server everyone showed me great hospitality! The food was amazing! Will definitely come back!
Great place to enjoy a great dinner on a Saturday. The low lighting created a great ambience. They also had a DJ! Had the oysters, the seafood paella, duck breast, broccolini side, and ice cream sandwich with many drinks to the table.
All their plates are supposed to be shareable but if your party is larger than two people, it’s best to get multiple dishes.
Just didn't Dave a big menu and they were kind of rushy
As someone who has been to 100+ different restaurants in Koreatown LA over the past 5 years, I am absolutely elated and relieved that Intercrew decided to choose Koreatown LA as it's home.
With the amount of talent, experience, and expertise the team has, Intercrew could've opened anywhere in Los Angeles and would've been as equally successful as they are now. While Johnny Tran (Otium) and Erik Sun (Bestia) lead the kitchen, Rick and Richard manage the front of house ensuring an excellent dining experience usually reserved for the westside of Los Angeles. Simply put, there is no comparison in Koreatown LA.
Regarding the space, Intercrew, is situated in a historical venue right on Wilshire Blvd. The elegant dining hall is fit for a classic wedding while the elevated lounge offers a more modern and free flowing experience to mingle amongst some of the trendiest people in town.
I was delighted and genuinely impressed by the sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere that Richard and Rick were able to procure the quiet Tuesday evening I stopped by.
The cuisine is uniquely avant-garde as it politely pays homage to Korean, French, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisines (just to name a few) while still leaping to develop it's own identity. Intercrew's specialties challenged my ideas as to what bolognese, roasted duck, and cheesecake could be, evoking a pleasantly surprised reaction with each bite. The unique twists on traditional favorites at Intercrew made me remember how boring predictability in taste could be (When I first moved to LA, I used to eat Korean BBQ 2x a week).
Although Intercrew is easily the classiest and most impressive new comer in Koreatown LA in recent years, the team has simultaneously created a warm and welcoming dining experience that I never could've imagine to be in Koreatown LA.
If you're still wondering about trying out Intercrew and appreciate memorable and awe-inspiring dining experiences, look no further, Intercrew is just the spot for you.
It wasn't all that.
I live in the neighborhood and was so glad to see that someone had repurposed the building into a restaurant. They did a great job on an iconic Art Deco style building. The interior is beautiful, very modern, slick and also welcoming, the bar tender was phenomenal, very attentive and mixed is a great craft cocktail. The food was very good, sizeable portions and patrons are encouraged to share plates which was difficult sitting at our small, round two-top table. I think the restaurant is in a soft opening phase now and they are still working out some of the kinks, we arrived a little early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar until our table was available. The two cocktails came to a little over $40 which is pretty standard for a top shelf martini, after a few sips, we were informed that our table was ready. I was expecting someone to bring the drinks to our table but instead, we had to carry our two fairly full martinis through the restaurant to our table, dodging the wait staff and other patrons. Before we left, I gave my feedback to the manager, he thanked me and said that he would make a note of my comment and would mention it to the wait staff. I would definitely go back to dine there again as I am hoping they will continue to improve AMD become one of the better restaurants in Ktown.
For Energy, I chose moderate, because I attended the diner at dinner time, and the moderate energy was perfectly appropriate for that time. However, IntercrewLA becomes a lounge at 10pm and it is perfectly energetic, once the setting changes.
I have attended the restaurant solo and eaten dinner at the bar as well as attend with family for a birthday celebration, and enjoyed both experiences. I highly recommend, but get ready to drop some $$$$ for a great time on an anniversary date that can be well spent at one joint, from dinner to drinks.
Wonderful food, ambiance, and service. 10/10!!!
Cannot wait to come bacj
“Ill be back”
Great Wagyu steak, outstanding bolognese pasta and superb cocktail program. Beautiful space and attentive professional staff.
Such a cool place and the food was amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and the vibe is awesome!
Fantastic service and gorgeous atmosphere, truly a must try.
Intercrew was a great dining experience as usual. Good food, well priced and a festive ambiance with a fun after dinner crowd as well. Rick, the restaurant host is always welcoming and accommodating. Will be back soon!
Great environment and great drinks
Reservation was at 10:30 pm and had to wait an additional 15-20 mins to be seated and then we didn’t get waiter service for what seemed like almost a hour
The front of the house gentleman was really great and attentive
Tried to make us as comfortable as possible
Food came out in a awkward order
We received our side dishes before our apps including a bread plate which seemed weird
By the time we got the food I wasn’t really hungry but good environment all together
Amazing all around
Great service, food, and ambience with live music! Would definitely come back here again.
Incredible experience. Great prorations and the quality was superb.
Really nice ambiance. Great food, good price point. Everything was delicious. My only recommendation is the timing of the food, which could be easily fixed with larger tables, or timing. Since the food comes out as it’s ready, we felt rushed a bit rushed so we could make space for the next dishes.
Great space and great food. The star was our first course, maybe the best hamachi I've ever had. Everything on the menu was creative and well executed.
The food was all on point and our host Rick was the best!
Our experience at Intercew LA was fantastic from the moment we stepped in and we’re welcomed by Rick of YOX (@yox_rick). The bartending crew are fun and knowledgeable and mix cocktails like only real professionals can. They were sweet, accommodating, and fun to interact with. Once we were seated, the service was impeccable, from our primary server to the restaurant-wide staff. They never overwhelmed us with questions but, also, never had us waiting for refreshed drinks, new cutlery, or anything else we needed. Dirty plates and glasses were removed promptly and smoothly, so that the table (which was just for two) never felt messy or crowded. The kitchen ran like clockwork, with appetizers, mains, and desserts arriving right on cue. The food is both innovative and, somehow, comforting and the ingredients clearly top notch. Even the bouncer, who greeted us warmly as we left, kept us entertained (while never missing a beat at his tasks) as we waited for our driver.
One extra nice touch is the live dj. You may not notice him right away, but he sets the vibe (which is very upscale dinner club) extremely well. The music was loud enough to cover general restaurant noise but quiet enough for comfortable table conversation.
It’s a great place to impress clients (especially from any entertainment or advertising industry), take a date you’d like to see again, or celebrate anything. It’s swanky in all the best ways.
Appetizers, entres, to drinks, everything was delicious.
Service and hospitality was top notch.
I already have recommended my friends
Restaurant is gorgeous! Love the ambiance. Really great for a date-night spot or a nicer meal for business/celebrations. Love the open kitchen and the spiral marble staircase. Had a little kink where they didn't have a table ready for us despite having an OpenTable reservation. The host let us use the upstairs room instead which is more of a lounge area. It was nice and we had access to the upstairs bar but not a great way to have dinner. Luckily, most of my friends just wanted to have drinks so it was fine that we didn't get seated at a proper table. We did order 2 of their wagyu bolognese which was yummy! The pappardelle pasta was cooked al dente and you could taste the beefiness of the wagyu. The cocktails were yummy! All my friends enjoyed the Sour Peche and the Anejo Honey Sour. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.
The drinks, ambiance, service and the food was all great. The only thing is their portions were very small. Overall still a great experience and would return to try their seafood paella as it was all sold out by the time we got seated
Intercrew LA is rated 4.7 stars by 50 OpenTable diners.
Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment.
