Your experience at Il Posto will be the ultimate journey for the time that you will spend with us.
Food was great. Subpar service.
Great Italian option for RiNo - classic preparation, along with creative options make it a great choice for lunch and dinner with clients.
Always a great experience at Il Posto. We have sat at the booth near the bar, so our waiter was also a bartender, so service was just a tad slow!er than normal. The food was great
We thought that it was still Denver Restaurant week when we booked our late Valentine/ early 26th anniversary dinner. We were somewhat disappointed but the food was fantastic. The service couldn't have been better and we really enjoyed the ambiance of Il Posto! Everything that we ate was amazing.
We went for Restaurant Week. The food and service were excellent.
Service was terrible. Our table was ignored. If you are over 40 I would suggest going elsewhere
Sitting at the counter was a fun experience--your chefs and kitchen staff are great! Every time we are in Denver in the future we'll be making a reservation.
Outstanding in every regard
Hal, thank you so much for joining us! We are so glad to hear that you had a wonderful dining experience and hope to see you soon.
Food presentation was great and the service was outstanding. The wine sommelier recommended a wonderful bottle of wine based on our price point and what we like to drink.
Overall the food lacked flavor. We had some course that were delicious and others that were blah.
Underwhelming restaurant week experience. The food was not great. The best dish we had was their signature pasta dish with red sauce and meat. The cocktail menu was also lacking.
Biggest issue was that we got seated at the bar facing the cooks. Other seating was not available apparently. It definitely was not the romantic evening I had envisioned. The pasta dishes were very good. The rock shrimp was ‘very fishy’ tasting so my husband and I switched meals.
Nice place, but the food is nothing extraordinary or memorable.
It was busy for DRW and Jonah and Julie were amazing. Never missed a beat and food was delicious!
Our server was not very welcoming, and made us feel bad about pointing out an error on the bill. The somm was fantastic, offered great wine and food suggestions for my food allergy. She saved the night.
amazing menu for Denver Restaurant Week. Perfect portions and delicious! Highly recommend the bucatini !
Delish food in a beautiful space! Always great value.
We didn't realize it was restaurant week, so what a treat to find! Met up with a friend I hadn't seen for a long time and they gave us the best cozy corner booth and let us chat away. The food is heavenly!
Very small portions. Doesn’t worth the money at all.. cozy restaurant but that’s it. We can’t rate the food because we haven’t have enough bites to taste. Highly disappointed
The food is AMAZING! The menu is written with very authentic italien words which made it difficult to decide but everything was so delicious, it would be hard to go wrong with any choice. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Plus trendy drinks. DEFINITELY worth a try and I WILL be back!
I've had dinner here and it was outstanding. But, aside from the burrata, which was very good, the 4 of us agreed that the brunch was just ok. The place was largely empty and it still took a long time for drinks to show up. My cocktail, Death Before Decaf, was a dud (the Evan Williams Old Fashioned was pretty good). The Casseruola was a small portion without much character -- the hot sauce was present as a couple of "pretty drops" around the outer rim of the plate. Barely enough to move the flavor needle. I'd likely come back for dinner, but there are too many amazing brunch options, at better price points, in the area to give this one a second chance.
Half the dishes were amazing and the other half were just okay.
We went during restaurant week and ordered 6 of the 9 dishes they were serving that night. All of them were excellent!
The service at Il Posto is fantastic and the food and drinks are both delicious. However, I got sick from the food so I don’t think I’ll be going back
Not much food for a pricey place. Service was very good.
My husband and I just went for the first time on Valentine’s Day. Everything was absolutely superb, and food was beyond excellent. We can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend it!
Love this joint. Ambiance is cool. Food is unbelievable and they’ll customize anything.
Il Posto is our go-to restaurant for date nights & special occasions. We've been coming here since they first opened in uptown & have loyally followed them to the Rhino district. Their food & service is always impeccable!! Highly recommend!
Il Posto was recommended to us by friends and we were very happy with our experience. We will pass along the favor to other friends.
Our absolute favorite. We come here for all special occasions. The best in every way.
Food was amazing, service was great it was just really cold in the building!
Food was amazing and we sat at the bar and talked with the Chef. The service however was horrible. It took us 30 min just to get our first round of drinks and then enter food and then we never saw the server for another 20 min till he brought apps. Then we had to ask the CHEF to get service to be able to order a bottle of wine.
Food took over an hour. Place is loud and portions are small.
One of the worst experiences of my life. Took 2.5 hours to get 4 pasta dishes. Everyone got their food before us. The waiter could have cared less, never apologized, i had to ask where our entrees were for him to even realize we didn’t get them after ordering an hour earlier. They waived the dinners because they still made $200 off of us for drinks because a 3 hour dinner will make you want to drink.
Service was so ba
Overpriced and poor service. Paid $20 for ONE ravioli. I would never recommend to someone. Pretty restaurant though.
Excellent service, they really want their guests to enjoy their experience, and they go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. Food was great, quality is top notch. Authentic.
Food looked interesting on the menu but was lacking in flavor once you got it. For the price I was hoping for more delicious food, the originality is there just not the follow through with flavor.
We were seated by the front door although there were open tables everywhere - we weren't given a choice. The service was subpar - after the first round of drinks, server completely forgot we were there. The hostess kept removing plates and asking if we needed anything. The main courses were just okay. I had much higher expectations.
Great food , great staff. Love Il Posto!
