Absolutely fabulous! Try the Beef Fat Candle - so unique and amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Carle did an incredible job. We basically let her decide our whole meal and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We started with the chicken liver, octopus, and snow crab/potato balls. Then we had the pappardelle and risotto. The wines and cocktails didn’t let us down either. Please ask for her and give her all your money because she was the best and we couldn’t have asked for a better 35th birthday dinner
Great food, great service, beautiful setting, awesome sommelier.
Loved loved loved.
My wife and I became ill after the meal, probably the goat blue cheese salad that we shared.
Rest of the meal was acceptable, but nothing to rave about.
We were on our way to see two of our kids leave for Venezuela, where we usually reside.
For us is always a pleasure to dine at Il Posto.
I was there for restaurant week. I also did the wine pairing and tiramisu. It was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. I'm still drooling over the memories. I had the beef tartare, of which I could've eaten an entire bowl. I also had the orecchiette with brussels sprouts and a pork cheek maiale. It was so good! The wine pairings were also great. Great sommelier! My server was not as attentive as the sommelier, but everything else made up for it.
Delicious, good service, great views, best burrata in Denver so far, personable, great attitude, and overall creative dishes with fresh ingredients!
My Wife and I and another couple partook of Denver restaurant week. Since the menu was limited due to the special pricing, perhaps we did not get a full and true impression of the restaurant. Ambiance is comfortable, & service attentive. Some of us had the Zuppa while two of us ordered the Insalata. Everyone agreed that both were superb. Next, we all had the Pappardelle which, while tasty, was really just lasagna with the twist that it uses different pasta and the meat was pork. Finally, I had the Risotto which was superb, while the rest of the party had the Capesante, which while tasty, was served in an extremely small portions.
No one ordered dessert as we had to rush to the symphony. I was the only one ordering wine by the glass, and while superb (due to the recommendation of the Sommelier, it was somewhat pricey at $16.00/glass.
I came to il posto for Denver Restaurant Week and was completely blown away. The service, decor, view of downtown, and food were all great. Even with Restaurant Week being the exhausting beast it is, we were treated well and our food was hot, fresh, and amazing! I look forward to coming back to il posto to try other items on the menu or have a drink at their gorgeous bar.
Amazing wine list and sommelier, delicious homemade pasta, and wonderful ambiance. Service was attentive and kind.
My wife and I joined our son and his girlfriend for a family dinner. The food was outstanding, and the wine pairings were well thought out. An outstanding Denver restaurant!
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver before and after restaurant week! If you're not sure what bottle of wine is right for you, make sure to ask Ben - his knowledge of Italian wines is incredible.
I came here for Denver Restaurant Week. Fantastic food, great service, extensive wine menu. It's $$ but totally worth it!
What a gorgeous, unique, and trendy place the new Il Posto is. I was there during Restaurant Week and every bite of each dish I tried was utterly amazing. The food, service and ambiance was impeccable. By far the best restaurant of the 5 I've tried this week.
We went to Il Posto during restaurant week for our anniversary. The food was delicious and they gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate. Needless to say, we felt spoiled and can't wait to return!
We went for restaurant week. The food was fantastic and the wine pairings were perfect! The sommelier was fantastic and took the time to talk to us about each pairing and each part of our meal!
I love this place. Il Posto never disappoints. Staff, food, ambience is always amazing.
Great vibe, awesome food
Good but it was restaurant week and the kitchen was slammed so course delivery was uneven as the night went on. Food was very good.
This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. I always eat the bar and watch Wes and his people create incredible food. I recommend the calamari and the pork cheeks.
Good food overall, but quite "spendy" for some of the flavor combos. The risotto was decent, but not $25 worthy. The calamari was a quite creative and full of flavor. My brussel sprout pasta was fantastic as well. I would suggest asking to avoid the table by the stairs and bar. It felt like were were in a hallway and not part of the restaurant. The staff was passing us frequently and we just felt in the way.
Fantastic! Attentive and knowledgeable wait staff, delicious innovative fresh food. Valet parking available. Views of downtown from upstairs. Wonderful experience!
Food and wine recommendations were great! My parents both cook amazing Italian food so I’m pretty picky if I get it out. Would definitely go back and high recommend it!
Our servers were fabulous and very helpful with our dinner choices. I loved the fact that they brought extra plates for sharing. Max was extremely helpful in our wine choice.
Good food, cool ambiance. The lights were neat and the staff was friendly.
Start to finish, Il Posto was an absolute pleasure to dine at!
Second time at Il Posto. The food and service were fabulous. Our biggest complaint is that their tables are far too small for four people to enjoy a meal. On the flip side, I was very impressed with the servers’ acrobatic skills maneuvering all the plates, wine glasses, and such - constantly moving things around to find room ;) Returning to the food - the flavor combinations and fusion of Milanese with local Colorado sources leads to a meal you cannot top. Just ... get bigger tables, eh?
The food was delicious. We had a yummy soft cheese and cracker appetizer that was the best! I had a delicious orange italian soda with cream. The bread and olive oil was perfect. My spaghetti was beautifully presented. My only discomfort was sitting facing the hostess the whole meal. Seems that she could have a little more of her own space right there by the front door. We were there during lunch and there was an Italian wine representative giving a wine demonstration. We could hear his Italian accent throughout our entire meal and it was delightful!!
A perfect evening. Thanks to Max for the fabulous wine selection. Best dinner ever
Wonderful service!!! The food was delicious (try the candle!) and my reservation comments were taken into consideration! I was able to get the table I mentioned in my comments.
Great ambiance. Well cooked pasta. Sommelier present is a nice touch.
This was our first time at the new location, and it is wonderful. The menu choices were, as always, creative and appealing, and the food and the presentation were, as always, outstanding. I have never been in any way disappointed by Il Posto. Bravo, Chef Andrea and staff!
Food and experience spectacular! Ambiance is hip but cozy. Our party of 5 ordered different courses and loved every dish. Il Posto is a "must check it out" place.
Their salmon is amazing! Funny to say that about an Italian restaurant, but it is!
I've been wanting to try Il Posto for awhile and am so glad I finally made it there. We weren't able to get in until close to 9 but still the food was fresh and the staff was friendly. The in house sommelier was knowledgable and helped us pick a great wine. Go for the beef fat candle and stay for the pasta. All delicious and a great spot for a date.
A wonderful meal. Service was superb, from the initial greeting through the service and sommelier. The food was impeccable, with new experiences that I had never considered. The sommelier nailed it on our choice of wine. A perfect meal and a wonderful experience.
Exquisite & delicious. Expert pairing from sommelier Benjamin, our new best friend.
upscale, farm to table and italian all in one. Notable wine list and good service to boot. I really like this place!
