Great birthday spot. Would do again. My partner had a great time
Food was bland, over priced, under cooked
Service was unfriendly, slow and disinterested
I will never return or recommend
Do try Il Posto! The ambiance is great - both inside and outside on the patio. The owner is gracious, most often on site overseeing everything and is very interested in creating a great dining experience for each customer. The owner is from Italy, so, he certainly knows Italian foods and wines as well. I have been a customer for many years - beginning at his first restaurant on 17th Ave. East of the capital building. I have always had an excellent meal - starting with the amazing bread (ever so fresh), the salads and entrees. And then, there are the bombolinis - primo, severed hot and fresh as a dessert. Last evening, I had the beet salad folllowed by the salmon. Both were excellent! I recommend Il Posto!
Delicious and creative cocktails and cuisine. I highly recommend this unique dining experience.
Our waitress ruined our dinner for me. She was pushy and snobby. The food was delicious and it’s a fun atmosphere but I won’t go back.
Great place with great service and a wonderful menu. Check out the wine list!
Eclectic and unique menu. Wonderful cheese and meat selection. Really fun “can’t get anywhere else” entrees. If you just want a steak or a piece of fish, go elsewhere. If you want a meal to remember, this is the spot.
Food wasn’t amazing and a bit overpriced. Was expecting a little more
I’ve been here before and it was fantastic. I got the same meal as I did the first time and was not impressed. There was just a mound of melted cheese on my gnocchi and barely any sauce. The food came out cold and it was not a great experience unfortunately
Service staff was surprisingly aloof and uncaring. From the hostess to the bar tender, very young, didn’t ask once how my food was, nor if I wanted another drink, forgot to get me my receipt signature until asked, just terrible really. Will not be going back.
They brought other people a basket of bread as soon as they sat. We watched them. I said at the end of my meal “why didn’t we get bread?” The waitress said because we didn’t ask.
The food was meh for the amount of money you pay. There were 2 vegetarian options.
Overall, not worth the money.
Food and drinks were okay. I don’t recommend the peach bourbon cocktail. Dinner at Il Posto was not really worth the hassle of finding parking on Larimer… it was okay, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.
We ordered the stuffed calamari, Bucattini and the Creste De Gallo. Unfortunately it appears that the food was not very fresh because we both got sick after our meal.
Our server was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. He was responsive, friendly and paced our meal perfectly. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was fine. It’s definitely a younger crowd and the area was crowded with intoxicated 20 somethings. We had the beet carpaccio which was fine but nothing special. The beets were large and the portions were generous but the salad and dressing did not compliment the flavor of the beets. The mushroom risotto was mediocre and while the texture was right it wasn’t as rich and creamy as we would have liked. The NY strip was similarly disappointing. Over seasoned and charred, a little over cooked and paired with an odd side salad of zucchini and cheese.
We might come back for cocktails and appetizers as the mezcal drink was delicious and the martini was very smooth but we wouldn’t return for dinner.
Food was amazing! Service was amazing! Would def go back.
The food was very underwhelming. The burrata with prosciutto was not good, the burrata didn’t spill over when we cut it…. It was dry. The crackers they served it with was the best tasting item on that dish. The calamari was tough, chewy and not good. The salad was super basic with minimal dressing. I realized I mistook this place for another Italian restaurant and I would never come back.
Excellent spot for a special night! Amazing food and friendly staff every time! Absolutely recommend, and can't wait to return! Grazie!
The food was incredible and every serving was timed perfectly. Our waitress, Jenny, was attentive and friendly!
The ‘Sex and Candy’ cocktail, Burrata, Mushroom risoto, and Manzo secondi were all highlights.
Highly recommend and will be back.
Horrible service. Bland food. Not worth the price. Bathrooms are disgusting and staff even knows it. Would not recommend to anyone. Horrible.
Not fabulous! Wouldn’t go back
The food was great. We enjoyed our server,Jennifer.
Had a great business dinner there with co-workers and spouses. Had a blast.
Terrible experience. It took us more than 45 minutes to get a drink. Dessert took more than 30. Food was mixed, but not what you would expect at a high-end restaurant. Years ago, Il posto was one of my favorite denver restaurants, but it has gone downhill. We will not be back.
Burrata for the appetizer
Where’d all the Cowboys go and red wine for cocktails to start
Strip was perfectly prepared and the zucchini side was amazing
The Pasta was so amazing seems off that it was just pasta
Our server Julie gave so much help with wine and menu selections and just great
Watching the kitchen was like watching a dance performance. They were happy and busy and it just looked like they all loved what they do!!!
Overall just the best dining experience
We enjoyed our evening. The calamari appetizer was fantastic. And the service was great.
We were disappointed with the food and presentation . It was ok, but we feel the food was
not up our past experience.
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. Fantastic, as always.
Hostess’s were not pleasant, very unfriendly.
First time dining at Larimer location. Great food. Great time. We’ll be back!
Amazing food and staff
Great time. Great food and drinks.
Excellent wine list and killer pasta! Good outdoor seating options.
Great atmosphere and the pasta was amazing. 1/2 off bottles of wine on Wednesday is a great promotion
We went for dinner.. the food was excellent however we waited over one hour for two plates of pasta.. we weren’t having drinks so it was a very long wait. Not sure what happened. The waitress was very kind and they took care of an appetizer for us. It would have been great if we didn’t have to wait so long for our food.
our service was great but the food was overpriced and underwelming.
70th birthday celebration
Everything was incredible! We will absolutely be back!!!
Food was incredible, so forward thinking and perfectly cooked. Great drink selections which paired with our dinner wonderfully.
As always, the food and service were excellent! All of the staff, especially our server Jennie, were friendly and efficient.
