Delicious. Steak was wonderful and the pasta I had was delicious. My daughter had mac and cheese and wouldn’t eat it; go figure. Come to find out, we all thought thay was the BEST mac and cheese we’d ever tasted.
Waitor was great.
Ambiance was fabulous.
Food was tasty.
The food was good and the portions reasonable. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere fun. I actually liked the appetizers better than the meal. The meal was good, but overpriced.
Went there for our daughter's 38th birthday dinner, along with our 6 year old granddaughter and son-in-law. There is no child's menu. The waiter was joyless and had a demeanor as if he hated his job and was in a living hell. With no child's menu, our granddaughter had a mac and cheese appetizer as her meal (no fruit or veggie options were offered by the waiter to go with it). My daughter and I had alcoholic drinks (watermelon and strawberry fresca) and the drinks did not seem to have any alcohol in them for the $10 each that they cost! The food was fine but not good enough to override the deficiencies at this restaurant. The selection of desserts is terrible...no chocolate cake, cheese cake or ice cream Sunday. Desserts consist only of cherry cobbler, rum cake and bread pudding. Despite the fact that it was a birthday dinner, nothing was offered to my daughter, but honestly she would not have eaten any of those 3 desserts. That said, it would have been nice for the waiter to have at least offered. They have ice cream that goes with the cobbler and my husband asked if they would make a small ice cream Sunday and the waiter said no! We have never had that happen before. Every restaurant we have been to that has ice cream at all will make an ice cream Sunday when asked, even if it's not on the menu. I agree with the sentiment offered by another reviewer: "Service was poor. food was decent. Had an event going on but felt undervalued." We will not go back.
We had made reservations and were seated right away when we arrived.
AMBIANCE-The restaurant is asthetically very nice however the acoustics/noise level is AWFUL. My guest and I had to yell and repeat almost everything we said the entire evening. I recommend going there during regular meal time. Only go if you can do so during off hours if you want to talk to anyone at your own table.
SERVICE-Also our wait for food was ridiculous once we ordered and our waiter acted as though he could hardly wait to go home. When asked questions he was not helpful. Whether it was about wine or items on the menu. Vague and abrupt.
FOOD - The items we ordered tasted pretty good once we got them.
OVERALL- We were really looking forward to trying Ignite and drive quite always yo get there but doubt we will hurry to return anytime soon. Hopefully things will improve.
The food is good, but not great. The servers seem a little preoccupied. The prices are on the high side.
Service was poor. food was decent. Had an event going on but felt undervalued.
1st time to visit after hearing about Ignite from friends. Was an excellent dinner, had the Lamb Chops...AMAZING! Looking forward to another Date Night and trying something else.
Overall was disappointed with our experience. Noise level in dining room was very high which made it impossible to carry on a conversation. Service was good, food was disappointing. Please change your "noise level" options to include LOUD as opposed to the closed end offerings of quiet, moderate and energetic - what is energetic? Have eaten at many top restaurants across the USA and this appears to trying to be something it is not.....
What a great night. We love the atmosphere here. We hadn’t been for awhile and the menu has changed. Awesome new additions. All of our meals were wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and try something new again. Service was great and all of the wait staff was very friendly. Highly recommend
Our server was excellent!!!!! The menu is outstanding with many excellent options. I love the Eskie salad with the chicken.
Keep the King's Estate Pinot Gris on the wine menu, it is always an excellent choice.
We love dinning at Ignite because of the wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food each and every time.
Very noisy!!!!! Will not return do a business lunch!
Trisha was our server and did an excellent job! All staff was friendly and professional. Gave us a free dessert for the birthday boy.
This was our 2nd trip here and it came up just a little short. The only issue was the over cooked steaks. She ordered medium and it was closer to well (no pink color at all). I ordered medium rare and it was on the long side of medium. Flavor was good, sides were great, Lauren (our server) was outstanding.
Food and service were amazing...acoustics make conversation difficult.
We really love eating at Ignite. The food and cocktails are so good! Last time we were there we sat on the patio. It was so pleasant. This timex we were seated unside and it was so loud I felt like we had to yell at each other across the table. We'll for sure go back but only if we can sit outside.
Great experience. This was our first time and couldn't have been better. Our server Justin was the freindliest server and very knowledgeable about the menu. Would recommend to anyone. Will be back!
This was our first time eating at Ignite. We were impressed with the look of the restaurant, the food was excellent, and our server William was awesome! Can’t wait to go back and try the other menu items and have some drinks on the outdoor patio.
It was good overall. Very cool decode but too noisy for large groups. A little pricey in some food items.
Terrible food. Noisy you can't hear anyone across the table. Only thing that was good was our server who tried her best.
Excellent service and food. Gluten free options are really good. The servers are well trained on what is gluten free.
Tough review, as I wanted to love this place as not much to chose from West of 435.
—Acoustics were horrible and the sun from the West was blinding at our table. The servers were accommodating but the blinds have a gap and apparently, “it happens every night”. -management???
Service was above average but the food was not what was expected and especially at the price. KC strip was over cooked and burnt on the edges. (Ordered medium rare) this is Kansas City for goodness sake.
The ambiance was great for Lenexa. Great venue for cocktails and meeting up with friends.
They have a great location for us out west and we are limited, so let you know if a 2nd time around.
The food was good, not spectacular for the prices. Very nice ambiance though and great service!
Service was excellent. The spicy tostada appetizer was excellent. Love the ribeye and loaded mashed potatoes. Wife had the shrimp and grits. She loved her meal. Ignite is not cheap so don't come here if your going to complain about prices.
We enjoy Ignite. We had the clam chowder for the first time and it was delicious. We were slightly disappointed in the Caesar salad, but the Hatfield burger was also wonderful.
Ordered filet mignon - I ask it be cooked medium well so I told the waiter it was ok to have the chef butterfly the steak so it would cook properly. Came out bright red in the middle. After they took it back to cook it more, it tasted like it was microwaved. It was not a consistent temperature throughout - red in the middle crunchy on the ends. If you want to charge those prices and make customers happy the chef should be able to make a steak to order. Very disappointing- probably won’t be back.
Good selection, well prepared, nice decor, friendly service. Just too loud to carry on a conversation.
The steak came out rare and was redone. For $41 for a ribeye is over priced and sub par. Outback and even Applebee’s has better meat.
They salad was the best part of the meal. Needless to say if we go back we will not have steak as it was not palitAble!
Service was excellent, the Mahi Mahi, terrific! A bit loud and very warm in the bar but the service and food were fantastic.
The food was a bit over cooked. The asparagus was tough and chewy. I have never been to a restaurant that charged a fee for bread. I also found the dessert menu to be disappointing.
We love Ignite! It's our once a quarter for celebrations spot. We stopped by for their Sunday brunch and were amazed at the selection and decent prices for what you get.
Second time for dinner - both times the food was very good although some of the the prices are pretty steep - most are reasonable. Love the atmosphere. Will definitely go back - especially with out of town friends.
Great food, atmosphere and service!
Again, excellent dining experience which is consistent every time.
We’ve eaten here a few times and as always our food was great and our waitress/waiter was very attentive! I’m very pleased with this restaurant!
Loved the buffet. An entree than the buffet was a good deal. Desserts were an extra treat!
Went to Ignite for brunch with my girlfriend. Food was solid. Service was great. Definitely going back.
We had a great Father's Day brunch with one exception. The website shows the brunch price is $18 dollars for the buffet and the entree. This seems reasonable - on Father's Day Ignite raised the price to 27.99 per person and this was not noted on the website. We decided to eat here anyway because we did not have reservations anywhere else. The food was good but I was mad that they charged more without notice. Doubt that I will go back.
Amazing experience - the staff was attentive and informative without being overbearing or intrusive; the food was done to perfection and outstanding. The decor was upscale and inviting. Can't say enough about our experience at Ignite - truly an exceptional restaurant.
My friend and I had a wonderful dinner here. The cavatelli pasta alone would be enough to bring us back. Add to that a stylish yet comfortable ambiance, a great bar and attentive service, and we'll definitely be coming back soon.
Good meal. Had the tenderloin. Was center cut so nice and tender. Good flavor. Had Yukon mashed potatoes and red beans and rice for sides. Both were good and the red beans & rice were a nice change of pace.
