Pretty quiet place. Boring, food was horrible. Service was not friendly
nice ambiance even better with music but not as safe when busy
The waiter was the best, and the food was delicious!
Great service, food wasn’t as stellar as normal.
They’re back to providing music. I saw a show on Monday and it reignited my love for the place. To be able to enjoy great food, drink and music simultaneously is magical.
Stellar cocktails and great appetizers—we loved the fries and chicken nachos. The sipping shots (small cocktails) are a neat option.
Best food I've had the pleasure of eating in a long time. Staff is amazing. Couldn't recommend this place more!
Amazing drinks, tasty food options, fantastic service and great atmosphere! Brian and Steve are doing an incredible job even amidst the current pandemic crisis. Can’t wait for live music to return!
I enjoyed the expanded patio. The menu is a bit more reduced. I would have appreciated some more options or gluten or dairy free accommodations. The staff was friendly and active. They were safe and had good processes in place to maintain distance. The patio is dog friendly which was appreciated.
Good food, lovely patio and attentive but not hovering staff
Service was lovely. The food was incredible. It felt great to be sitting outdoors. 10/10, will be back again.
Everything was great! Outdoor seating was a great atmosphere! Loved it!
Nice outside patio - out of all of our favorite beers.
We came for the burger and were not disappointed. Perfectly juicy and so flavorful. The burrito with house made chorizo is incredible. The outdoor patio and courtyard is beautiful, beautifully shaded for a summer evening meal.
The patio is the perfect place to spend happy hour or dinner for that matter, which is what we did this past week. Service was smart, as placing your drink order happened right when we walked up for our table. Lots of green space and shade too in the courtyard and up on the patio. Loving the new menu items - we split the Cubano and were happy to have done so as once we had the fries it - it was more than enough.
Challenging time for restaurants with COVID but despite staff with masks table space did not seem to comply with regulations and it appeared owners/investors wore no masks at all. I have enjoyed this place in the past. But will stay away for now
Drinks were awesome, but the food menu was pretty small. Food was alright, but somewhat underwhelming. Will try again if they have a larger menu post Covid-19. Would also consider going for happy hour and live music.
Our waitress was phenomenal! The food tasted great, the drinks were strong and well priced. I haven’t gone to a restaurant and been fully satisfied in a long time. This experience was much needed to be introduced back into public dining after quarantine. Great job, y’all!
Matthew Bickford remains my outstanding chef of the year as he continues to create and share delicious and original small plate offerings at his Chef’s Bar Fixed Price 7 course menu for $50.00. Unlike other fixed price menus, you will finish the meal quite full. Every guest accompanying me over the past few years has been very impressed with both the culinary delights and impeccable, dedicated service. Courses are always a creative blend of spices, sauces and ingredients. Ever tasted a fiddlehead fern salad? Unique and different and delicious! I could have all 7 courses with just refilling the soup bowl with his version of tomato basil or winter squash recipes.

The food was delicious and specialty drinks yummy.
went to have dinner drinks and see reina del cid
The menu is a bit ostentatious and spendy, but taste was great.
I've only been to the Icehouse a few times, but each time it has been an outstanding experience. The Chef table tasting is an amazing experience with 7 courses and unique alcohol pairings. I would highly recommend allowing your host to choose your beverages, "dealer's choice" as it were. Matt was our host on the Saturday after Valentine's Day and he was delightful with a penchant for craft cocktails that each came with a history lesson or unique story. I honestly think that this is the best food I have had in Minnesota. I myself am a chef and I cannot think of a better place for a night of amazing food and service...enjoy!!!
I love Icehouse - they have great music, great cocktails and food. My one complaint is they always seem to be understaffed. Last Saturday for brunch was exactly that - I felt bad for the bartender, he was doing his best, but it was WAY too long of a wait. Still worth going, just something they need to work on.
Music was great! Food is decent but the last time we were there the service was very slow.
I've had loads of great meals at a Icehouse. Brunch was extremely understaffed when we went the other day. Many of our friends were there to see the music but many of them couldn't get seated or eat, due to the lack of service staff.
Place is cool. The food is decent and the music was great! Service was slow. Never came back to check on us for drinks. Not once. We had to go to the bar ourselves and the bar tender couldn’t keep up.
The food was fantastic.
The menu was changed on Valentine’s Day without notice to 8 main items sand I ordered the steak and you talk about bubble gum meat...🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Icehouse always has great music, great food, and great atmosphere! Very friendly and accommodating staff as well.
Our server Matt was incredible, thank you, cheers!
We went early before a show. Quieter at that hour, which we also liked. Food was excellent!
Love having good
food and good music playing. Great atmosphere.
I cannot believe this place isn't packed every night. It definitely needs more publicity. The atmosphere and creativity of food is wonderful.
The ambiance and offerings (food, drink, live music) were fun to try out. However, I was disappointed in the quality and value of our food & drink - my risotto was way over-salted and the drinks were disappointing (the house variant on a Moscow Mule seemed like straight ginger beer and the cucumber Tom Collins tasted like pickle juice). It was also strangely cold inside - we were not the only party wearing our winter coats the whole evening. I'm glad we gave it a go but I would not spend my money on a full evening here again.
I have a great experience every time I come to Icehouse. This was my first time attending a weekend brunch, and it lived up to my expectations. The food was delicious and the brunch drinks have an unique twist to them. The live music always adds the perfect touch to the atmosphere.
I was disappointed that as soon as I arrived, the band took an over 40 minute break. For the 2 hours I was there, the band only played 50 minutes.
Always impressed by the food and how well it is prepared. Great selections of drinks. Also a great music venue. Good food, Good drinks, and good music... That's a trifecta in my book.
Such a surreal experience. Daughter turned 18, and she wanted to listen to Jazz music for her birthday. (she was also able to finish her college class assignment for attending a concert :) First time, my hubby and I went to a "nightclub" for dinner with our two now adult children. Wonderful laid back atmosphere, incredible musicians for a Monday Night. It made us look at the calendar to plan another future visit.
