Hy's Calgary es la última adición a la familia de restaurantes de alta cocina Canada's Premier Steakhouses desde 1955. Con líneas limpias y texturas de cuero, terciopelo, cálida madera y piedra, este restaurante es una versión moderna de la tradición clásica en filetes. El orgullo del lugar es la asador rodeado por una pared circular de cristal, del cual se obtienen filetes Canadian Prime Great (canadienses de primera calidad) perfectamente asados al carbón. La barra en forma de herradura está rodeada de varios niveles de lounge y una área de comedor que es amplia e íntima al mismo tiempo. First visit to Calgary for our anniversary. Dino was exceptional waiter - suggested house cheese bread which was a great start. Table prepared Cesar salad by Dino was very tasty with strong garlic. Medium rare ribeye cooked to perfection with mushrooms and loaded baked potato. Old fashioned to start was perfect. Prices were as expected for top notch steak house. Overall great meal hit the spot - strongly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience at Hy’s recently! Our server Dino went above and beyond! He included our four year old during the salad prep, which made his night. Our glasses were never empty, even during the salad prep, he quickly stepped away and filled my glass. He was very professional and aware of etiquette, which tends to be lost these days, even at higher end restaurants. He took our orders in proper sequence - older woman, younger woman, older man, younger man. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the quality was fabulous! Will be going back and would highly recommend!

Medium well steak turned out to be burnt and the waiter asked how was the steak was and clearly it it’s burnt I don’t know how they brought it out. So they made another one that was medium rare.. it’s a steak house how can you mess up twice. Great location.

Great food and atmosphere. Food prepared exactly as expected and service was prompt and courteous. Was a bit noisier than normal with a singer in the lounge area but it was a nice backdrop to a great dinner. Only disappointment was there were only (3) scallops in the the appetizer whereas when in town last fall and had the same there were (4). For the cost I thought this decreased the value of this specific item. And it also put a question as to who gets (2) and who only gets (1). Or split the 3rd one?

Delicious steak, beautifully prepared. Fun ambiance with the tableside preparation of Caesar salad and Bananas Foster. Attentive, friendly servers and the environment is not too loud. Five stars, we will be back!

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish, informed the restaurant of it being a special occasion, situated us in “the den” a great view of the entire restaurant, secluded & private. Our waiter was very polite & respectful, fulfilling of every need and catering for every request. Travelling from the UK made my entire trip even more worth it! Thankyou, I’ll definitely be returning.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. We're glad we listened. Our server was amazing, taking extremely good care of us. The food was great. It's a big thumbs up from us.
