   Ciro was our waiter, he was well spoken, very interesting and I very much appreciated his service. In general the atmosphere was lovely and so was the food, i overall had an amazing experience.

   We had an amazing, delicious Mother's Day celebration. The quality of the meal and service is always excellent at Hy's.

   Ive been to several hys and calgary has the best ambiance , bar area packed with people having a great time, dining area seperate and very well spaced apart for a more intimate setting Beautiful restaurant And this was on a wednesday!! Love calgary

   Lovely waiter and the food was good I wouldn't say the steak was any better than the Keg but it was good. Dessert was lovely the cheesecake and the keylime pie are to die for.

   I always love going to Hy’s but this time the service was the best it’s ever been for us. We really appreciate the attention. The night was made extra special even to hear about the history of Hy’s. Continue to give wonderful service. See you soon

   We had a lovely experience at Hy’s. The service was attentive and professional, and the ambience created a refined, enjoyable atmosphere. The tableside service added a fun and interactive touch to the evening. That said, we found the food to be a bit too salty for our preference and slightly overpriced for what was offered. Having dined at several upscale steakhouses, we felt the overall experience, while pleasant, didn’t quite stand out as exceptional.

   This was my second time dining here and for the second time, I was underwhelmed by the steaks. This time I ordered the steak diane and was excited to see it cooked tableside. But when I saw the table come with two PAPER THIN slices of beef, I already was disappointed. I ordered medium rare, and I know how thin the beef was, it would overcook in a second. And it did. The meat I got was overcooked and wasn't tender at all. All the sides were great, and so was the cheese toast. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops. I thought the seafood was better here than the steaks. The service was great too. I won't be coming back here if I am craving for a steak.

   The Live music was awesome. My server was excellent. The food was delicious. And my old fashioned was quite tasty, as well.

    Good to be back at Hy’s for a business dinner. Great service by Dino. Our out-of-town guests were quite impressed with the hospitality and service.
