The food and service was amazing! We are really enjoying our staying and all the restaurants at The Wailea Beach Resort for our honeymoon.
They tried to seat us out on a hotel balcony that was not part of the hotel. Horrible vibe so we asked to move inside. The ribs were not edible, very tough. Didn't bring our food together and the restaurant was not busy.
To cap it off, we self-parked in the garage and upon leaving the kiosk asked for a $30 parking fee (we were there 1.5 hrs), and it said "unless validated". So had to reverse out, park and go back inside to get validated. Any good restaurant would ask if we needed validation. Terrible service.
Went for a nice dinner and several poorly behaved kids sitting around us on the limited seating patio. Ordered calamari and was tough and rubbery. Waiter was incredibly slow. Will stick to happy hour only at this restaurant.
Outstanding service and food!
Great experience except for the seating part. Hostess tried to seat us all the way in the back next to the kitchen. Our server was awesome. Tasty Mai Tai's.
It was quite windy indoors but worth it. We had calamari and the lamb. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding. We will be going back.
I definitely will be back, the fish was phenomenal! Only complaint and obviously COVID related was the very strange eating arrangements. We sat at the furthest point from the entrance and it felt like we were eating at the service entrance in an empty conference room. Great food though and the deserts were great too.
Unfriendly and untrained staff, dirty table and booth, zero personality. The one dish I had was great, the sashimi. However because the service was so bad I left and went to have sliders at a sports bar.
Did not expect the food or service to match the Maui sunset - but they did! Fish fish with an Asian flare, great take on pineapple upside-down cake, and a warm, honest waitress.
The rack of lamb was one of the best things I've ever eaten, anywhere in the world.
I left my expensive prescription sun glasses on the table, and the restaurant claimed they did not find them, and I never got them back. It is obvious that someone on the staff kept them, which is sad because given the prescription, they will be of no use to them at all.
The happy hour ribs were mediocre at best. Skip them. Everything else was good.
Good food. We had the Benedicts, omelette, kid chocolate chip pancakes and kid breakfast plate and they were all really good. I personally really like the mochi pancake. Our server, Kristine, was amazing with our kids. She made the whole experience even more pleasant than it already was. Have a nice view on the terrace. It was relaxing to have breakfast here. All in all, highly recommended
No ambiance except the great view if you’re close to the windows, or outside. Just a big modern room. Food was barely warm so quality was only okay.
Easter Brunch
Not the best meal and too much food. I’d rather have a choice of the menu verses everything. Not sure how our guests liked the food but we thought it wasn’t as good as the diner we had a month ago. Roy Yamaguchi has a good name and foodies love his dishes. I think it was too many dishes for the brunch and would enjoy less dishes with a higher quality of food. Not sure we will come back. My husband and I were underwhelmed with the food!
Even with a limited menu as compared to previous, the food is delicious and plentiful. Our server Mitch is friendly and attentive. He has served us previously and does an outstanding service.
Best meal ever. highly recommend. pricey but worth it!
Views and amazing food and service.
Wonderful breakfast with great service
The food was delicious and plentiful.
We were taken to a back area. Where temporary tables had been set up due to covid. Looking at an open convention room. Amd a noisy kiddie pool. Not what we really wanted as a dining experience for the price. It’s all about getting dinners sold now. And not about a dining experience.
Service was off. Hosts were not very welcoming as other restaurants were. Server looked unhappy to be there. Runners went to wrong table with our food. Un-bussed plates with staff walking by often.
Salad was delicious. The best course.
We had 2 small pieces of cauliflower in our Brussels sprouts cauliflower app. Was probably made in a large batch and was plated unevenly.
Surf and turf was unappealing and just ok. Crab cake was a little ball hidden amongst mashed potatoes and veggies. Flavor was bland too. Daughter’s filet was good but the accompaniments were just a mix of everything and looked inedible.
We had take out at Roy’s in Waikiki earlier in week and had an amazing dinner in our hotel room.
View was phenomenal though. Bummed for meal but valet was gratuity only so can’t argue about that! Expected a $20 valet service.
Terrible, even the basics. Save your money. Go to McDonalds - at least you know what you’re getting.
Great experience
Food was phenomenal! The ribs and the pineapple upside down cake do not skip!
For the price of everything our experience was below average. Other than the fish and ribs which were very good the steak was below average along with the other dinner selections. The desserts were really good but when you pay over $450 for a meal I expect things to be above average.
Always a great experience here. From friendly host reception, to attentive service, and well timed and well executed dishes. Don't forget to pre-order desserts such as pineapple upside down or Roy's signature chocolate souffle cake while enjoying your main course. You will be encouraged - do it, you won't regret it.
Absolutely delish food and a great place to view Maui's amazing sunsets! Cocktails are great too!
Great romantic dinner with unreal views
Beautiful setting with well prepared, delicious food and service. The potstickers and rib appetizers were great. Steak for dinner outstanding! The chocolate soufflé was small but also incredibly good.
Best avocado toast ever! Exceptional breakfast and service!
Braised beef shortrib and chocolate soufflé so so good!
Very nice restaurant on a beautiful location! Food was very good but a little pricey.
Amazing fresh fish prepared perfectly.
Had a great dinner with a great view at Humble Market. Don’t pass on dessert. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious and the chocolate lava cake was to die for!!
Terrible service. Our waiter abandoned us. Literally the worst, unapologetic service I’ve ever experienced. Food was delicious but for the price the service should match. I was expecting more given my love for Roy’s in its hay day. Would rank this worst meal of Maui.
Came here for Happy Hour. The food and drinks were very good and a good value. The lounge is casual, but the tables and seats are very low to the ground. It was kind of uncomfortable sitting so low for a long period of time.
They sat us in the furthest part of the area. Not even in the main dining room but some banquet room balcony and we were the second party to be seated at 5:00 pm. Ribs appetizer was stringy and disappointing. Service was sub par. Overall very disappointing and would not recommend. Will not be back.
It was sooo good. our waiter was very nice and helpful.
the desserts were outstanding and freshly baked
Food was good but not as good as we remembered from past experiences. Able to sit outside which was nice but due to Covid and seating restrictions sat outside of what was a conference room so we technically were not in the restaurant. Server was sub par- she spilled two drinks on or near me. Overall was disappointed in the restaurant and from this experience may not return.
