Food was mediocre, staff was nice and accommodating - server was kinda forgetful. Drinks were good, ambiance was chill
This was our 50th anniversary. HofB’s did everything they could to make our evening special. Our waiter had only been on the job two weeks there and he was fabulous! My husband wanted to be at Disneyland for our 50th and insisted on dinner at the HofB’s. The duo performing was amazing! We could have sat there all night and listened to them. We will definitely go back next trip to Disneyland.
Great place all around. We made reservations here before a show we were seeing at the house of blues. We got there a early and they sat us right away. Food was delicious and not super expensive.
Enjoy family dinner before a concert. Ally was our server/host and she’s great. Thank you. We enjoyed our evening out together.
Food was amazing. Of course we ordered way too much but everything was delicious. Highly recommend the gumbo. Server was attentive and was there only when we needed. I think their name was Yoshio. When we’re in the area we will be back!
Food was amazing. Great service on a busy night The venue is great as well.
Went to go see Rival Sons so we decided to eat there and we were pleasantly surprised. There was a good blues duo playing, food was good and drinks came quickly.
If you need a dose of high quality Cajun cuisine and Rock n Roll, this is the place. Very friendly waitstaff, although like everywhere right now, a little under-staffed. Shrimp and grits was the best I've had outside of NOLA>
Staff was uninspired and completely uninformed as to providing services, rather they worked on a hard sell of a proposed VIP upsell for the show following dinner. Too good to be true and when we were ushered away from our table to inquire further, the deal was “sold out” however we were told something completely different about the cost than what our waiter stated.
Upon return to our table we ordered drinks/ appetizers and dinner and 15 minutes later we got them and 10 minutes after that the waiter returned to our table to ask if there was anything else he could get us? I said yes, our entrees that we ordered, only to find out he never placed the order but lied and said that he had and that they would be right out. Fast forward another 15 minutes and we got our food and it was terrible!
I sound like my parents… but this was a terrible experience and I won’t be eating there again…
We had dinner reservations prior to the concert. We arrived early and the hostess was able to seat us right away.
Had a great time and the food was excellent.
Food was good. I was a little surprised the music stopped at 8 and no other music was scheduled to play after 8, especially on a Saturday night
Not the experience I was expecting for house of blues. The ambiance was very dry and the food was okay.
The food and service were amazing! There was also a blues duo playing that was very good.
Had a fun & enjoyable evening! Staff had great recommendations, were attentive and helpful. Thank you for making our night extra nice.
Amazing Service!!! The food was good, but the star of the show was the customer service! From beginning to end, everyone who interacted with us, from the server, to the supervisor, to the manager, they all greeted us like family! We have been in LA for the past couple of days and went to 3 different restaurants. This was by far above and beyond when it comes to hospitality. Thanks again guys!
I made dinner reservations for my husbands birthday. When we got there they seated us right away and wished my husband happy birthday which was really nice! Our waitress took our order for appetizer and drinks right away. Unfortunately we sat there for 45 minutes before we got our drinks (a bottle of beer and a sangria). After 20 minutes we reminder the waitress that we ordered drinks and she said they were working on them. Disappointed it took over 45 minutes to get a bottle of beer and a sangria. The spicy chicken pasta was good but my husbands burger was just mediocre. He ordered it well done and it came medium rare. Overall disappointed with the experience.
Food and appetizers came out hot quickly
Service was great!
It was great.
The food and atmosphere are fabulous!!
Late dinner on Vacation, place was empty but food and service was great.
We sat for about 30 minutes before we had to flag down someone to get us some drinks. Finally we got our drink order taken, but it then took another 30 mins for someone to take our food order. I understand they may have been short staffed, but half the restaurant was empty and we only had 3 people in our group.
I saw another table walk out because no one came to greet them.
The food tasted amazing, but the service was quite disappointing.
Overpriced food, which was ok, but the limited choice of brussel sprouts, which where horrible, was a big disappointment. It was the house of blues though, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and decor.
I loved that you get a fast lane pass when you eat there!
Nice place to start of the night when going to a concert. My nachos had barely any cheese, i ate plain tortilla chips mostly. My waitress was nice and attentive.
No music live
Food was not so great. Everything was just a little too sweet. We got the steak and jambalaya with a soup on the side. Steak was good but everything else was sickly sweet. The cocktails had extra sweet syrup. Had live music in the form of a poorly dressed, unshaven and unkempt man acoustically butchering popular love songs, probably in the name of artistic freedom. Service was good.
Our Shrimp Jalapeños cornbread appetizers was great
Servce great, food no so much
Eating here again after being shutdown due to CoVid protocols was like seeing an old friend. Very satisfying and comforting! Food was great, as was the service. Cannot wait until they're open for lunch and looking forward to their happy hour also.
Great customer service, food, ambiance! Would definitely come back :)
I always had good food, service, and entertainment at House of Blues!
Great, professional and attentive service from the hosts to the servers to the young man who validates your ticket. Excellent food and drinks (I had a Shirley Temple). Good value. I'd highly recommend having dinner here before your show and validating before you leave the restaurant. Helps prevent you from standing in a huge line after the show to validate.
Fantastic food great service would definitely recommend
We Had an awesome time! Will definitely go back again
Music was great, service was great, just wished there were more vegan friendly options on the menu
The ambiance was great. Singer with a plugged in acoustic, not too loud to still hear table convos, and fun background music. Jambalaya was fantastic, but service grade lower for how long it took for food to come out. Get your res to eat before a show and go early to give yourself time to enjoy the wall art!
Had a great time at the House of Blues Anaheim. Food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was also great and enjoyed listening to the singer/acoustic guitar. Only reason for 4 star overall, instead of 5, was drinks. All drinks were tasty, but had only trace amounts of alcohol. For the price, would have expected a better pour.
Our server Daniel was amazing. He provided excellent recommendations and had perfect timing for checking in on our drinks and food.
I did not feel we got value for our money. Three very basic entrees, two sodas and two beers for &100 . We ate there to get early entry into the show that night. sounded good in theory but didn’t work out so well.
Great atmosphere, great food, good live entertainment, and friendly service, good night out
