   Great Palm Springs under-the-radar option for a large group. We had pizzas, tacos and sandwiches and it was very good. And, the service was efficient and gracious. We had 13 of us and they took care of us well.

   I never actually got to eat there since I arrived for our reservation and found the restaurant was closed!!!! The manager of the hotel said, "Oh, yeah, we've been working on fixing that!" So, I was left without a reservation anywhere and a friend showing up to nothing! Her only suggestion was a mediocre steak restaurant across the street. I'm shocked that the restaurant would allow OpenTable to accept the reservation when the restaurant is closed on certain nights. This must be a VERY SIMPLE fix!! And the lack of any real apology or interest in helping me given their mistake - unforgivable. To be fair, she offered to google somewhere but the reality is that during high season in Palm Springs, there are NO last minute reservations at anywhere good!

There’s no excuse for what happened, and we completely understand how upsetting and inconvenient this must have been—especially when you had a reservation and a guest joining you.    The interior of the restaurant was nicely remodeled, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of this experience. Our drinks took an unusually long time to arrive. I originally asked for an Arnold Palmer, but was told they didn’t have lemonade—yet the overpriced mocktail I ended up with tasted like it had lemonade in it. My friend ordered an espresso martini, which she did enjoy. We started with truffle fries, which arrived cold and soggy about 35 minutes after we ordered them. Based on that and the overall atmosphere, we decided to skip ordering dinner, as we didn’t have high hopes for the rest of the meal.
