Hide Sushi was an amazing experience. I have been to a few omakase style sushi spots and this by far has been the best. The service was spectacular, the greeter, the waitstaff, as well as the sushi chefs were nothing short of excellent. The quality of all the seafood was top notch. Every bite was delicately crafted to be better than the previous. Also the portions matched the quality, I left filled and ready to book another seating. Another big bonus is the beautiful view.

Terrific fun spot. A little hard figuring out the location. But the restaurant is special, an intimate beautiful setting. Service and food was above and beyond, amazing sushi at a relaxed pace. Great date night. Will be back.

We were late to our reservation, they still accommodated us. The service was impeccable. The sushi is simple and tasty! And the location, you can't beat!

We have never been to the sky lounge in Waikiki, therefore this is our first experience to enter the area. We have to catch an elevator and then an escalator to go up to the sky lounge. We were there a little bit earlier than our reservation time so we walk around the lounge and enjoy the view. About five minutes before our reservation, somebody came to get us an escort us to the backside to enter a secret door. We were the first customer there and because of that, we got to chat with the chef quite a bit before dinner, they are very friendly people, even the waitress is super friendly. Right now they have only one sitting at 5 PM, from what I heard in May 2025 they will start to have two sittings. It is not BYOB as someone mentioned before, they printed the menu with the date on it, so you can clearly see what they are going to serve, according to the chef, they try to change to menu about every 3 weeks. The Omasake is $120 per person, very reasonable price in Hawaii standard. If we count every single items, it will be 18 items, one miso soup and dessert. The ingredient is fresh, the chef explain to us very detail about the food, what is so special about each item. After this serve each piece of sushi, they will use a paper towel to wipe clean your dish. Talk about attention to details. One of the best part is the dessert, you can ask for refill. We love the Matcha. You can also order more food if you enjoy certain items. Overall, we like our experience and the entire dinner lasted about 2 hours, they also fully your parking for three hours, I am not sure why I cannot find Hide sushi on Yelp. I would like to leave a review on the Yelp too.

Food was great! Everything was very fresh and delicious, and it was amazing when they offered any extra pieces at the end of the meal if we wanted to revisit certain nigiri. The desserts were fantastic, especially the Creamy Matcha Terrine, and the fact that they offer unlimited desserts was the best. Our only critique was that the time between bites was way too long, sometimes at least 5 minutes between courses.

Hide sushi has got to be the best omakase overall experience we’ve ever had. The food is amazing the chef and everyone is amazing the vibe is amazing. Chef Tommy and Hide work perfectly along each other. They are an orchestra that creates great food and great experience. They even spent some time with us outside at Sky bar when they saw us there after dinner having some drinks. Hide Sushi is a must!
