The restaurant environment was very good. It open space and out side with heaters. Everything was so slow. We waited 10 min for water come to our table. Drink came slow and food came also slow. When we seated the table about 60% of tables are seated and some customer are already eating their food. I don't think it was super busy. We order stakes and it was ok. Steak source and butter source ware not good. I prefer eat these stakes with salt and pepper...., and I think the price wasn't much the quality of food.

Small Menu, not much options. Eggs benedict's ham had a lot of fat and grizzled. The steak was tough. We used to go to this restaurant when it was called Shades. The food was great. Now it has gone down hill.

Tried the new mussel dish- insane! The flavors are incredible and really show off the fresh shellfish. Service was impeccable and Jay suggested the best wine pairings with all of our dishes. Live music was so perfect for a fantastic way to enjoy a Friday night.

We enjoyed a lovely brunch on Easter Sunday. Service was outstanding. We felt like we were the only people in the place. The apple-cinnamon scones were a very nice surprise. We will definitely be back during our next trip in June.

They leave the doors open so it was very cold in the restaurant. Whe nwe asked them to shut the door they said they would but never did. After we asked they ignored us.

Great experience! The staff- Jay, Travis and Asia- treated us like celebrities. The food was amazing, we had Waygu American beef cut in medallions with a delicious sauce. Ambience was relaxing, under the stars with a view of the ocean. Our favorite place for date night!

This was our first time at Henry's. We tried it for OC Restaurant week as date night. We were very pleased with the service, food quality and the food presentation. Our waiter, Rico and the accompanying staff followed all of our service/timing requests perfectly. It is a little noisy. They could use some sound damping. Unfortunately it was raining and cold so there wasn't an option of sitting outside looking at the ocean. I am sure we will be back and would definitely recommend it.

Food was delicious and a beautiful presentation. The service was exceptional. Cocktails and appetizers were also great! Our group of 6 sat on the patio and the heaters were very warm! I look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!!!

Nice restaurant as part of the Waterfront Beach Resort where we stayed. We were there during president's day weekend. It was pretty quiet. They had live music though, which lifted the atmosphere. The food was nice, but pricey. There are a lot of good choices nearby, so I would probably only return out of convenience.

Had another great meal at Henry’s. The mushroom ravioli “starter” was entree sized portion. The wedge salad was enough for four and very tasty. Grilled octopus and ratatouille starters were good as well.

We had a great meal. The food was excellent. Including crispy gnocchi, crispy salmon, crab cake and a romaine and poached pear. Great singer for entertainment and very attentive waitstaff as well. Highly recommend.

Great dining experience. We sat outside on a winter night, and were very comfortable with a beautiful view of the Huntington Beach coast. The food was excellent. It's a bit pricey, but we will do it again.

Great service. Asia who seated us was helpful as was our waiter Veincente. Food was good however my lamb was too salty, the oysters were great. The overall rating is from the snooty $35 corkage and after spending over $200 on dinner for 2 we were lucky enough to get our parking validated at $7.00 Not going back soon

Easy valet parking and up the lobby stairs to the restaurant. We sat on the open air patio with a guitarist serenading with comfortable background music. The service was attentive with extra staff to be certain our every need was met. The food was well prepared and creatively served. She had a steak and I had the sea bass. Yummy.

Based on the food review in Orange Coast, "Henry’s Coastal Cuisine Brings Elevated Dining Experience to the Waterfront Beach Resort" I expected a unique food experience on the usual menu selections one finds in restaurants. Nothing unique. Seas bass was sea bass. The wedge was seemingly a half head or more of lettuce with not a commensurate amount of dressing. The Osso Bucco needed more flavor. The grilled octopus starter was a standout. The $26 Manhattan was not. I came for the Bronzini. It was not on the menu. Our server saved the dining experience with his service and knowledge. Keep the server, toss the bread pudding. The four of us had a good time in nice surroundings. Food needs work.

We had a great waiter. Why not all 5*? Very expensive menu with mostly strange and limited entrees. We would have done the rib eye but but not for $225😳 my scallops were great but didn’t like what came with it. Veggies were way too Al Dente! Hubby had the lamb was okay but didn’t like the accompaniment. With only one chardonnay choice by the glass we brought in our own bottle.

I had a fabulous steak that was perfectly cooked. Service with Jeffrey was perfect. He came by at just the right times, allowing me to enjoy the ocean view and my meal. Everyone from the hostess to the busboy were friendly, professional, ideal. The music entertainment was also perfect. Enjoyed every minute of my visit so much that I booked again for the next night.
