You’re not getting a cut-down version of the menu either - we’re talking big hitters like: 35-day dry-aged rump steak, our legendary Big Matt Burger, Charcoal Chicken Ana Mari, Roast Hake, and Ash-baked Beetroots. All mains come with a side included - pick from beef-dripping chips, baked sweet potato, buttered greens or an English Lettuce salad. There’s a solid choice of starters too (yes, Potted Beef & Bacon), and puddings that you'll regret skipping - Sticky Toffee Sundae, we’re looking at you. A little tipple? Also sorted. Everything was perfect except the noise level. Vey loud. On one hand it was exciting and energizing but also hard on someone like me with a hearing impaired. They say they know about it and have plans to deal with it

My mum and I came in and had the lunch/pre-theatre menu. I had the potted beef to start and it was so delightful and not something that you see on a menu anywhere else. The gravy that came with it was so outstanding that we kept it for our main and had to order another one. We both had the steak for main and everything about it was so succulent. Desserts were also so delicious. I had the sticky toffee sundae which was just like a cold sticky toffee pudding with ice cream but was amazing for summer and mum had the pavlova and she said it was really enjoyable. Service was absolutely outstanding, the waiting staff were so helpful, friendly and quick. Anything we asked for was not a problem to them and everything was brought to our table with impeccable speed. Everyone was so approachable. Overall experience was an absolute delight. Even when the restaurant started to get busier and busier nothing was ever too much to ask. Unfortunately we didn’t get any names of staff but everyone was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat!

As always, Hawksmoor provides an excellent meal and restaurant experience. I took my brother and nephew for their first ever visit and everyone walked away replete.

When we went upstairs, there was no indication to see the servers and be shown to the table. We waited 30mins at the bar before I asked where to order. We waited about an hour for the food and no urgency to check on us. The price of the food warrants more frequent service
