    An amazing placee away from the hustle & bustle that is Waikiki. It's located off the lobby of the Kaimana Beach Hotel on Waikiki's Gold Coast. The food is amazing and features local ingredients. We had some appetizers and they were all delictious. Cocktail menu is extensive and features local alcohol. Try the 1944 Mai Tai. Ambience is awesome with a great beach view no matter where you sit. Our server, Juan, was phenomeonal. He was attentive without being in your face. We will come return again and again.

    We make a point of eating @ Hau Tree every time we are in Oahu. The food, ambiance, and service is wonderful. Ella was amazing! The salmon appetizer ( which has a fun presentation) , pistou pasta, and fish of the day were delicious and very flavorful . Highly recommend if one is looking for a quaint restaurant by the beach with amazing sunset views.

    All good. Had been regulars at HT until we moved to Windward side but had an occasion to return. Nina was fine, the food was great. Understand that entrees now come without a starch and ordered separately to share, but in principle believe an entree should be a complete meal. One recommendation...our rental also has a Hau tree, but our table near center along beach required guests and servers to crouch when passing that way and pretty sure some have bumped their heads on branch. Believe you could cut off that large elbow (about 18" dia.) and the remaining tree will be fine and fill in in no time. Save bruises and make less work for the lawyers.

    Our server, Lindsey, was absolutely amazing during our time at Hau Tree. We traveled to multiple different islands during our stay in Hawaii, and Lindsey easily provided the best service out of all of our different restaurant experiences. She was so thoughtful and attentive, and very personable with our entire group. We couldn't recommend Hau Tree enough, and wanted to say how amazing she was!!
