Outstanding food. Excellent service. Always a favorite place to dine.
We love Harry's!
The only downside to this occasion was that the dining room was very smoky from something in the kitchen. We expected it to dissipate, but was present and very apparent throughout our meal so we left smelling of kitchen smoke. Not typical for Harry's so we will certainly return. Food was on point as always.
Awesome! Will be back several more times. Great atmosphere, great ambience and fantastic food
Our food tasted quite amazing, as it has the other times we've been here. My wife is a huge fan, too. It's good to have a place in Manhattan to go to for a special dining experience.
Great food. Great atmosphere. My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday. The food and staff were amazing. Strongly recommend.
The staff was very attentive and respectful. My entire experience at Harry’s was really great.
We celebrated our 5yr anniversary - the evening was wonderful! Thank you for the memories!
Harry’s never fails to impress. When we are in town we always make at least one visit.
Fantastic as usual through Open Table. Recognized as a birthday per the application. Immediate seating and friendly welcome by name. Menu and drinks described in detail with precision. Recommendations and presence was excellent for the food. Dessert was fantastic and unexpectedly not charged due to birthday.
Wonderful ambiance, and our service was fantastic.
Rice was burnt and the pork chop was overcooked and dry. The chef was a failure for our meals this time but the server was friendly and did a great job.
Excellent waitress (young woman from Montana) and host staff. Dining room a bit dark. Crab cake appetizer terrific as always, and my husband really liked his vegetarian entree, which has been on their menu a while. But the $45 prime rib was a disappointment: bland and not very tender or juicy, even though I ordered it medium rare. Don’t know if the problem was the kitchen or the supplier (an outfit called Braveheart), but I wouldn’t bother ordering their other steaks in the future. Also, the Sacher torte was stale, although the ice cream that came with it was yummy.
Went for a nice date and was very pleased with the service and quality of food. Our waiter was wonderful and the drinks were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.
The food is fantastic, and the service is on point! Always one of my favorites!
Good services friendly staff nice environment and in a good way very different restaurant experience. Thanks to waiters that made it easy to understand the amazing menu. My wife and I had a very nice Birthday dinner experience.
Thanks and definitely will go again
Food was fantastic and so was the service!
The food was delicious, steaks and lamb were cooked perfectly. I did feel rushed to leave. I was asked three times if my plate could be cleared and this was after I already said we were there to enjoy ourselves. On the third time I finally let the server take my plate because I was getting irritated they kept asking. Also, I’m not sure why I was asked what the occasion was because not once did anyone wish my husband and mother in law a happy birthday. They both were born March 9 and we were there celebrating their birthdays.
Our server was wonderful. Pleased with everything except the dessert. Chocolate torte was so dry we practically choked on it.
Great food and service. I’ve never had a bad meal at Harry’s.
Steaks were fabulous. Hanna, server, is terrific. Wine sommelier is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Thanks for a terrific family birthday celebration.
My third visit to Harry's and darn it, it wasn't the best experience - food wise. The Caesar salad had TOO much dressing, making the lettuce leaves limp. The lamp chops were wimpy. Wine was excellent and service was spot on! Charcuterie plate was excellent. Yes, I will come back and give them another try.
Such a great date night! Amazing food, wine and atmosphere!
Great attention to detail. Wonderful service. Food is always great and specials satisfying.
First date with my girlfriend and it was amazing, from time we came in to the time we left! Was not disappointed. Got exactly what We paid for!
Harry's has a great ambiance, atmosphere, menu, and staff. It was a bit dark where we sat, which I know other reviewers have complained about, but it was more than manageable and the experience completely made up for it. The food was exquisite and the service was friendly and respectful. I never felt we were pestered and never felt we were ignored. Although it is pricey, you absolutely get what you pay for. Great for a special occasion!
Our Valentine’s Day dining experience was superb — delicious food, fabulous service, and beautiful ambience! We have always been totally satisfied every time we have dinner at Harry’s!
Took my wife to Harry's for an early St. Valentines Day Dinner as I was going to be out of town on the 14th. We both had the Mahi Mahi and is was superb.....I had the crab cakes as an apetizer, and the presentation was remarkable but the flavor of the crab cakes even out did the presentation, my wife had the tomato soup one of her favorites.....it was a wonderful evening and the staff was terrific as always.....can not find a better place in Manhattan for a special dinner...
Prime rib 45 dollars was without flavor and cold
Great food and service. Sat right by the food service door which was very annoying. Should’ve asked to be seated elsewhere, lesson learned. Great place though!
The ambiance at Harry's is over the top. The food is 5 Star. It is always a treat to go to Harry's for ANY reason! I wish the walls could talk because I'm sure the history of the building would be the greatest story!
Our server was amazing and we couldn't help but notice how well she was trained in explaining the menu items. She did the perfect job of attending without intruding. Kudos.
Surprised my husband for our anniversary. Kansas beef was outstanding. Great atmosphere and made us feel special.
The food is always outstanding. It is an expensive place to eat but you do get your money’s worth. The quality is always wonderful and the wait staff are smart and know about the food they are serving.
Harry's is the best place to eat in Manhattan, if you want something in the way of a nice restaurant. Food is solid, though not very ambitious or creative, and you'll love the midwest sized portions (after you loosen your belt). I'm a big fan of the place. Our server was delightful, but disconcerting when she asked what type of dressing I'd like on a wedge salad...Still no cappuccino or espresso for dessert, but otherwise, great spot for a nice meal.
We met a couple that we have known for thirty years who had come to Manhattan to attend K-State basketball game with us.....so we decided to meet at Harry's and have dinner before the game.....the dinner was perfect, the ladies order fish and the gentlemen had Braveheart Filets.....a good time was had by all and we will do this again!! When in Manhattan you have to go to Harry's if you want the best dinner experience in town....hands down no questions asked....
Another outstanding dinner at Harry's. We love this restaurant!!!
We were placed in a corner booth and there was absolutely no light to see the menu. We had to take out our phones and click on the flashflight to be able to read the menu. It was very frustrating . We had to do this when our food arrived as well, so we could see what we were eating. There needs to be a light placed on the wall or something. I would refuse to sit there again if I ever return. It was the worst place I've ever sat before in any restaurant.
While we were visiting K-State we wanted a great steak. Harrys was recommended and it was fantastic. Wonderful service from James, the atmosphere and exquisite food, it was a perfect evening. If we are back in the area again we will definitely visit Harry’s.
Everything from our first bite to the last was exceptional! Our server was very friendly, as they always are and made our experience all the better! Loved our evening here. Desserts were off the charts as well!
Absolutely wonderful food and service. Perfect for anniversaries, fine dining dates, and wonderful scenery. The architecture of the building itself was awesome. My only concern was where we sat, the seating was starting to rip/tear. Once seated, I did not notice. The most amazing food I have ever eaten. Well played, Harry's, well played, indeed!
