Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek
Rachel was fantastic server/wait staff!!! Great fresh sushi
Really surprising how wonderful the food and service was here plus excellent dining room.
We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it and eat here again. The menu had a variety of offerings to meet the most finickiest of tastes and diet restrictions. Two thumbs up. In addition, the waitress and the manager were friendly and hospitable. I ate the lobster tail roll and the vegetable tempura, plus we had edamame two ways and spicy tuna nachos. All delicious, fresh and high quality.
Best sushi in town, IMO. I've been to every Hapa location and I think Cherry Creek is the best.
Great food, try the monkey brains! Consistently the best sushi in Cherry Creek. Many unique dishes and rolls.
Love the new space, great menu layout with lots of interesting and easy to understand choices.
Family gathering great time
The new space is beautiful without being pretentious. Food seemed to be missing just a bit of the crisp freshness we’re accustomed to (maybe the new kitchen is still finding its sweet spot) and it took a minute for our server to settle into a groove, but Hapa is now more than ever the best all around and most consistent sushi experience in Denver without spending a fortune. A chat with one of the managers reconfirmed this place still has a unique vision and soulful intention for what kind of restaurant experience they want to provide.
Great food, great service!!
The food was honestly.. not good. The calamari was squishy and soft. And the sushi had NO flavor. Typically I don’t dip my sushi in soy sauce because good sushi doesn’t need it. At Hapa, I added soy sauce to give the sushi some extra flavor. Not impressed.
Very Americanized sushi. Abundant enormous overload on rice, mostly fried fish with cream cheese overload, calories bonanza topped with drizzle of mayo and thick sugary eel sauce.
Service is awesome, and food was much better than last time. The key is to mention “light rice” to get thinner layer of rice.
Though we had been to the old location in Cherry Creek many times, this was our first visit to the new location. It was a really amazing experience to take in the new place; it is really magnificent! The food was great too!
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Denver. Always incredible quality fish. inventive rolls if you like to try new things or well done traditional ones. Great service!
Great date to get a variety of sushi.
Wong Drink, Salmon was super fishy, 40 mins to get food
Me and my Fiancé enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night. Sushi was amazing. Loved the ambience
Great service for Valentines weekend. We had an amazing time!!
The restaurant was great. It’s not our first time there but the service and food are always amazing! Definitely recommend!
Spencer was an excellent server. Very impressed.
The food was beautiful and excellent! Even though it was extremely busy, we were still attended to accordingly and received our food in a decent time. We loved the sake menu and the aspen rolls were spectacular!
My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at Hapa. Great food and service!
Service was excellent!
Hapa at this location is extremely low quality and poor tasting compare to Hapa in DTC or Downtown.
The sushi and sashimi were absolutely delicious. I also appreciated their sake menu and the help our server provided with it. The lights are just a bit too bright, but otherwise a wonderful meal and evening.
Enjoyed the new place a bit noisy
Celebrating a friend’s birthday. Dinner was amazing!!
Eel was bad, tasted super fishy and old. Ruined the meal. Won’t come back for a while.
New Years Eve dinner
Another great evening at Hapa -delicious food, great vibe, excellent service and fun. The host was especially accommodating and warm. Forgive me for not remembering her name.
LOVE WHAT YOU'VE DONE WITH THE PLACE! CONGRATS on your new place! Perfect ambiance, perfect seating, perfect warmth. Our server, Kyle, was an exception to his profession and an exemplary lead. Wonderful food, wonderful experience. Thank you!
Love the Poke bowls here - available in raw and seared and GF varieties. I’d really like to know the source of their fish - I’ve e-mailed and haven’t gotten an answer.
No More Kids please!!! Can’t there be an adult only restaurant in Denver? And if you must allow kids- have a kids section so the rest of us don’t have to sit nearby and witness parents ignoring their noisy and misbehaving children!
Everything was awesome!
It was a bit loud, but the service was great
Loved their new location. Food was excellent as always and it was a fun atmosphere.
Food was great as usual! Service was fairly slow in terms of drink refills - had to chase down waitress several times after going dry and remaining dry for a while. Location was great (first time I’ve been to this location). Hapa tends to be on expensive side so our service expectations are a bit high as well.
The new location is beautiful and much larger. The happy hour deals cannot be best! So delicious and super attentive staff.
Food was great. Location and decor was nice. Good date spot; easy for conversation.
Ok, but not great sushi, kinda noisy. Very nice wait staff
Love the new location, so much more room. We had a great time, sushi and the service were exceptional as always. Will be back soon!!
