   When we first arrived for our reservation the hostess was rude and dismissive. She seemed annoyed to be there and not interested in helping people. We were placed at a spot too small for our reservation and way too close to the live musician. The musician was good but the noise level was so loud you couldn’t even talk to the person seated next to you. We asked the hostess to move. She blew us off even though there was another area we could have moved too. Basically said too bad if you don’t like it leave. No one ever came to take our order so we ended up leaving. We came back an hour and a half later after hitting another bar. The hostess that was there at that time was wonderful! We had a great spot, drinks were ordered quickly and we ended up closing the place down. Enjoyed the time we had when we came back. But based on our earlier experience not the best.

   This was our first time at Halo. Beautiful space with great views. We made a reservation but decided to arrive a bit early to enjoy the view. The hospitality and service were great until we were seated at our reserved table. We sat as our waiter walked by our table 4 times; we finally flagged him down. We placed our order for two dishes which the waiter did not write down. He didn't write down anything for the group next to us either. He should have, he had to come back to their table to clarify their order. Another waitress had to come to our table to ask us what we ordered as well. Then we were informed they were out of one of the items...there are only 10 items on this menu. I realize this happens, but 7PM on a Saturday night? A bit better inventory management is in order. We probably would have ordered another round of drinks if the waiter ever came back. We had to flag him down for our check. We will give Halo another try, but they need to dial in the service.

   Terrible service. I don’t know if they don’t have enough people or if they just don’t have the right people. Impossible to get a drink even w a reservation. Ended up leaving and going to the another bar. Also, hostess reminded us twice we had our table for only an hour bc the next reservation -which is fine but stop bothering us. Very tacky.

   Great views, great bites, service was sub par but great otherwise! DTC desperately needed a place like this

   we had a wonderful date night! it was a little cold out but they had heaters and fires to keep warm and we couldn’t feel it! beautiful views, great food, lovely service.

   The staff took great care of our large party on the roof deck lodge. Special shout out to Zoey (her 1sr day!), Shannon, the managers of both Severina and Halo!

    I had been wanting to check out a rooftop bar for awhile. Saw that Halo was close by so I made the reservation. Checked in 5 minutes before our reservation time. Got seated with a table close to the stage. Live music was about to start. Noticed others walking in of course after we had been seated and had a server bring water. At this point we had been waiting for at least 10 minutes. Looked around and it wasn’t very busy. 15 minutes with no acknowledgment I went up to the service station and asked if someone could help us. The server said she would send someone right over. 10 minutes goes by and nothing. We decided to just leave. Didn’t know who was in charge and we were tired of waiting for a server. Big disappointment! Was really looking forward to an evening at Halo. By the looks of it, this happens a lot. This is a Big problem that needs to be addressed. If you’re going to charge a premium price for cocktails and food, make sure the service and experience is on point! You exist for the customers and with no customers, you don’t exist. I definitely will be taking Halo off the board for a rooftop bar. Will not return and unfortunately all it takes is one bad experience. I hope they get this fixed. It is a nice room and the view across the mountains is great!
