   Not sure why i got 4 phone calls the day of reservation confirming my reservation. They even called 20 min before dinner time. I find this very annoying. Otherwise everything else was fine.

   It was my anniversary and heard nothing but great things about this place. I checked it out and the food was amazing plus they made us feel special at the end! Thank you so much! We will most definitely be returning🤍

   Set down at 3:40. Waiter came at 3:55. First order of food came at 4:25. Mind you, these are uncooked meat. I asked why it was taking so long and the answer that I got was people rushed in. At 3:40? Tofu soup came out 4:30. On average, it took about 20 minutes for any kind of food to come out. I asked the waiter if this was normal and the answer that I got was it takes a while. We left around 5 10ish and still had food that did not come out. Not sure if they are short staffed but waiters don’t come around often. Over all food was ok. We got tired of waiting and asked for our check. Food came out right before the check came. I was asked to pay additional of $50 dollars for the meat that came out almost along with the check. They said leaving food was unacceptable. I was already frustrated and sort of understood their frustration with left over food but didn’t want to bother explaining the situation as the manager was determined to charge but clearly didn’t care why we left without finishing. I’m not sure if this is Boton way of running business but I for sure will not return.

   Went to gyu kaku for my birthday. When we arrived at our reservation time they told us our table wasn’t ready yet. We decided to take a seat at the bar to have a drink while we waited but we were totally ignored and we questioned whether they even had a bartender. Finally someone takes a drink order from us, of course as he was handing us our drinks our table wasn’t ready. Service was very slow. There were several times throughout the meal where we were left sitting there saying to each other how we would really like another cocktail as we sat in front of empty glasses. Our appetizers came out long after most of the other food. The food was really good as always. Our favorite was the prime kalbi mixed cut.

   As a family/group of first - timers we choose Gyu-Kaku BBQ to have dinner and celebrate our daughters birthday. Not knowing what to expect, our server and the hostess were very patient in walking us through the details and letting us know what to expect. The food was delicious and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. At the end of our meal the staff even surprised us all with their rendition of "Happy Birthday" at dessert!

   Food was delicious some of food was slow to deliver- garlic rice took a while while our cooked meats were getting cold while waiting for rice dish

   I had a reservation for 7:00PM and we weren’t seated until 7:20. The entire time we were waiting we could see empty tables and also, given that there is a time limit for eating at this restaurant it is frustrating that their seating management was so poor. A server didn’t come to us until 7:30, though we had already been looking at menus since 7:00, when we got to the restaurant. We were also tucked away in a back corner of the restaurant - it was difficult to order more food (which is frustrating, as this is an all you can eat restaurant where you have to order more food). Overall, I don’t think this restaurant is worth the price, as I expect a restaurant at this cost to have much better service and management.

    All went good, after eating Wagyu in Japan, I found outrageous to pay 60.00 for 6-7 small pieces for the Wagyu
