We enjoyed the lunch deal at Gyu Kaku as usual except there was some confusions on certain items that were not available or/and being upcharge but our server Layla was so sweet and accommodating. The service was outstanding and it would be more enjoyable if the burner is working properly. It was too time consuming to cook the food!

Disappointing service experience- grill didn’t work so we had to move after 15 minutes of trying to cook and the server discounted our concern, then we had to move all the meat/veggie plates/drinks ourselves. No apology or check in from the service team on the situation, but some jokes about how we should be working there too. Didn’t really feel that anyone cared that we had a disappointing experience and the server was very dismissive

It was really great food. The only thing is it feels very rushed. Which is understandable because unless you have a reservation, you will be waiting for some time. Every table is full. Everything is very fresh and tastes so. S’mores as dessert is a nice little treat.

I made a reservation for 5 people at 7pm. We got there right before 7pm and they acted like we didn't have a reservation. Then said the table was maybe given to another guest. So, they sat us at a table where the 5 of us were spread out so far from each other it was like 2 separate dining parties. This was for my sons birthday, so I was a little bummed.

Half my meal was forgotten. Never got my fork i asked for. Was charged for an appetizer i never received. Asked twice to repeat what I ordered because she forgot to put it in. Hardly talked too. Just wasn’t a good experience for a Friday evening at 5:15.

We had a reservation for 5 people and when we arrived we were given only an option to sit at a table for 4 people. We were given excuses that it’s all they have available. Really!!! How does that work.!! Then they moved another couple that were already seated to where we were going and gave us a similar 4 person table with a chair on the end that was in the entrance of the restaurant where everyone walked right by us and bumped the chair. If it wasn’t for my daughter Bday celebration we would have walked out. Will never come back to this location!!! Tustin location is a much better place to go.

Had a much better than expected Christmas dinner here. The kids chose dinner here even though they had never been. Had a great time cooking their meats and trying new things. Great service as well.
