Used to be my go-to place when I need a Gyukaku kind of fix. But I’ve noticed this place has become dilapidated and dirty. The grill had two grains of leftover rice on it. The tables and seats were smelly and sticky. No wonder it wasn’t even half full on Mother’s Day at 5pm. Won’t be coming back anymore with other options available in the area.

I feel like for the amount of money I paid we could have gotten more meat esp. the ones we would have preferred. Service was fair - I never got my drink refilled but others on my table did. Our table was so tiny for 5 of us and we had barely any room. It would have been ideal for either a bigger grill for one table or a table of two grills. Staff was friendly overall. Would possibly return again.

Good service, good food but the place seems to be lacking cleanliness, restroom were dirty. Restaurant walls were dirty and paint was chipped off and bubbled in several areas. This location needs some tlc as it seems like no one is paying attention to it.

The food wasn’t good here at all unfortunately. Ordered spicy tuna and crispy rice, spicy beef ramen with a sodium warning level and garlic noodles with chicken. Noodles came out, the beef was overcooked and dry, the ramen was bland and had 0 taste. No sodium detected (maybe the was the warning?) no spice at all, the egg was hard boiled where as on the menu it was soft boiled. The garlic noodles had a decent flavor to them but the texture was kinda slimy and just unpleasant, the crispy rice was all wrong, they used long grain rice and the tuna was not appetizing at all and grainy. Will not be back.

Food was ok. Severs are friendly but food quality was lower than my expectations since I know how Gyu-Kaku is in Japan. I would go back to Gyu-Kaku in Japan but probably not in USA. They were completely out of salad which was included in the course meal at 7:30pm dining on Sunday. It was not busy there for Sunday night. I wonder if they are not getting enough customers there. We were told 8pm was the last order time. So we had to hurry up and finished our dinner.

well this isn't your traditional korean bbq so if your expecting like Gen dont come here, your just eating meat, staff we made reservations at 7:30 not knowing they closed at 8:30 so we were the last ones there that was annoying don't book a hour before closing. Then we ordered the sparking wine and they came back and said oh sorry all we have is this i assumed sorry for the inconvenience. But they up charged me for a more expensive wine sneakly. Hey say this one is all we have but it cost more. so no i would not go back

We were there for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was pretty empty and even so, service was incredibly slow. Slow for food, slow for drinks, slow for everything which is crazy considering they dont even cook the food they literally being you cold meats or appetizers. It wasnt the most pleasant dining experience.

The food was good. The only thing I didn’t lien is that it seems we’re being rushed and there are other empty tables. We haven’t finished eating and the food server asked if we would like the check already. And they were cleaning the table when we were still so we had to pass the trash to them. They could have waited just for a few minutes before cleaning up. Aside from that, food was good.

Happy to see their reservation system back up, as the place tends to get packed on the weekends. Food was fantastic, as always. The staff seems fairly new, so it’ll take some time to develop better service, but still an enjoyable experience.

The all you can eat option is listed on website, but they no longer offer ( was it a bait or simply misleading information?). Overall, I was disappointed for the price I paid.

We were looking for a restaurant that we could have reservations for because we had our little kids with us. We love this chain but the one in Rancho is not open for dine in. This was the first time at this location and it is even smaller than the one in Rancho. They took our temp before entering and everyone was wearing masks. Food was delivered quickly and was as expected per our normal expectations. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

Antonio made great suggestions and was very attentive/speedy! Mai is also very sweet and great. Various food choices made the dining experience fun. Would recommend the buttered mushrooms and cream corn as well as the hanger steak. Shrimp and calamari were also excellent.

They were short-staffed when we went and there was no greeter to keep track of customers coming in to check-in. They need to manage this place better and hire more staff.

Meat is over seasoned and way too salty. A few fish are hardly edible because of the salt. Rice is hard and undercooked.

Daughter and I had a great Happy Hour BBQ with Kevin serving us very nicely. The set for two at $50 is a good start and add more meat and side dishes as you go.

Food: pretty consistent with the other Gyu-Kaku locations that I have been to. Meat has always been tender and juicy. Service: there were some servers that were attentive, but some were not and just passed by our table without any acknowledgement whatsoever..

The food was delicious, as always. However, our server was very inattentive, and we kept having to flag down another server to get drink refills, etc because our original server was nowhere to be found. We used to visit this location quite often, and had previously had great experiences there. We were very disappointed with the lack of service, especially since we were one of only three tables for part of our meal. We also had some issues with our grill not heating evenly, but managed to work around that.
