   We were the only diners at lunch time. The grouper was at least 2 -3 days old and salad was brown and white, very little green. Hopefully this will allow the restaurant to step up their game and get higher ratings.

   Good food. We each had a different seafood entree, and everyone was pleased. Pleasant ambiance, but not special. It was a quiet night. Would definitely go again when back in Naples.

   Kitchen mistakes and inattention made this a less-than-memorable visit. We were here twice during our stay in 2016 and this was a real aberration. Menu items were delivered with no resemblance to the listing. Clams in white sauce served with oily, overcooked pasta. French fries with one dish tasted as though cooked in over used crankcase oil. This place is off my list. Our server was working her first day. Marica tried to make up for the shortcomings of the kitchen staff, but it didn't help. She is a nice person. We just hope she can find a better job in a nicer restaurant.

   Servers were helpful & friendly; nice every-day menu. Attractive seating. Food was fair -- my wife's crab cake tasted fishy; my grilled grouper was just OK . The front door was propped open with a chair, making it somewhat uncomfortably breezy inside the restaurant. An empty car -- unlawfully parked for a very long time in the fire lane outside the front window --- added to the lack of ambiance. (The car did not belong to anyone at the restaurant, but should have been towed.) We had hoped that Grouper Grille would be a "neighborhood gem," but are sorry to say that it was not. We wish them the best.

   Great food and service We were the last to dine for the night and the owner was very happy to have us. We all had the grilled grouper basket and we all agreed it was fantastic.

   I cannot understand why Open Table is associated with this restaurant. There is absolutely nothing to recommend it. The food was awful, portions were skimpy, staff person was unhelpful and not friendly, service was poor, there is no ambiance, and the restaurant itself not well maintained. Three of us had seafood -- all dishes resembled something deep fried from McDonalds (looked like 2 tater tots on half a hamburger bun). One had a salad which was less than pedestrian. We were deeply disappointed.

    My husband and I are always on the lookout for local restaurants with great, fresh food at reasonable prices and we found all three at the Grouper Grille in Naples, Florida. Family owned and operated: husband is the cook and wife serves the food. Can't wait to go back!!
