With my passion for design and innovative concepts, I’m thrilled to introduce Grey’s Social Eatery to Ottawa. My vision is to create something truly special for the city. I aim to reignite excitement in the Market with a world-class restaurant that will elevate our great city even further.

Grey’s will be a stunning venue, blending modern-vintage design with Canadian influences. Our thoughtfully curated, value-priced menu will celebrate international and Canadian classic feel-good dishes, all made in-house with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and crafted with passion and love.

The vibe at Grey’s—featuring Top 40 hits, rock, country music, and timeless sing-alongs—paired with the friendliest staff in a beautiful setting, will make it a home away from home, where everyone feels welcome among friends.

My tomato-red pepper soup was superb. The gnocchi was a disapointment. The service was adequate but unpolished. When we arrived a man (possibly an employee) was speaking very loudly at the bar. But after a while he became quiet. My friend had the smashed burger and ate it all, that being unusual for him.

The lady that served us was the bomb all the way around! Food was excellent place was great! Didn’t feel like I broke the bank afterwards so that’s very good too! Definitely coming back!

Service was fantastic. Waitress was polite and food came in 6 minutes! Delicious meal and overall great experience.

Overall the experience was flawless. We've orderd 5 starters and all were outstanding. Server was also rapid and offered an excellent service.

The inside is very nice. We went there when it was the Blue Cactus. We all agree the food was better then.

Good service! Food was meh, prices meh. Some of the expo calls that should happen in the kitchen were happening in dining room right behind us. It was fine overall

The quality of the food was low and the poor service did not meet our expectations based on the website. Both of our steaks were overcooked, tasteless and the frites were store bought. Did not have the feeling of a world class restaurant.

Food was great and so was the service. I did order the Chicken Supreme and had to send it back because the scalloped potatoes were cold - but the server and kitchen staff fixed it in a hurry and apologized for the mistake. I was really impressed with the customer service. The meal was delicious!

Poor service overall! Our server only came there time: to ask for the drink, take order and ask again if we wanted some drinks. She didn’t know her menu and had to go ask some basic questions to answer us. We had to ask for water twice, the food was hot but meeeeh overall. There was no coordination whatsoever. We had finished our drinks for a while before receiving our appetizers. They drop the appetizers without taking the glasses or asking if we wanted another drink. My friend had to get up to ask for a second drink. After the appetizers, we did put the plates aside to create some space. A server came with the mains and dropped everything. He didn’t get rid of the plates and glasses even tho it was really evident that the table was full. One of the colleagues did spot the plates and came to take them and glanced at him in an obvious way. When we asked for other drinks/water, my friend had to ask for them to remove the glasses that were there from the beginning. I understand being busy. But the service and the food was underwhelming. A server came with a birthday cake for me without a fork. I tried to establish visual contact but was somewhat ignored (not intentionally). Another table made eye contact with us and even proposed me their fork. We decided to get a real dessert elsewhere. Our server came back in the end and was trying to be extra friendly but it was kind of too late. Especially, after barely seeing her. The experience was underwhelming. Grey Social Eatery feels like a rebrand of Blue Cactus. Only good for pre-drink before a night out
