Wasn’t thrilled with lukewarm food. Out of 5 meals they were just barely warm. The lasagna was not good. The rolls were great.
Great experience! We definitely will return to Gravy!
Hi, there! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we are so glad you had a great experience!
We went to Gravy to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was very pleasant and helpful, offering refills on our complimentary garlic knots several times ~ and giving us some to take home with our leftovers. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the kale cesar salad and bruschetta appetizer.
food was over-seasoned, and our waitress took forever to bring food out.
Excellent food, excellent service. I will definitely go back!
Absolutely wonderful food and the cosmopolitans were to perfect. Will be back soon
Party of four. Waitress was great. Our drinks, salad and rolls were delicious. We all ordered different entrees. All were luke warm at best. The pasta was over cooked. It was a disappointment.
Good food at good prices in a good atmosphere.
Definitely worth it.
Our food was great and our waitress was great but it was her second day and there were three other servers around at the bar while she ran around the whole restaurant taking care of all the tables. She worked her butt off and did amazing though.
Lauren was a great server, food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
We were celebrating a Birthday
The food was delicious but the portions were quite small. We went for lunch so maybe dinner has bigger portions, but the small portions plus a decent wait for food (even when it was not a full house) made the experience mediocre. I would try again for dinner.
Nice that I could reserve a table outside.
Went for a friends birthday and has a wonderful time! Good portions and reasonable prices. Sat upstairs and I think the vibe was lacking a little, hopefully we can get a table downstairs next time!
We were looking for ambiance and atmosphere when we made our reservation, but was unfortunate place alone on the second floor. Eventually more people filled up the space, but not what we were hoping for. The shrimp paste was a bit to spicy, not sure chili is something to mix into Italian food. The cheesecake a bit dry.
Server was slow. Took 30 minutes to get a desert.
Main course was bland but otherwise, i would highly recommend.
Service was great. Food was not good. Under-seasoned. The bolognese was not meaty is was more like a watery vegetable bolognese that I had to add a ton of salt to. Gnocchi dish was also watery and not seasoned. While we liked the service and the location, the food is not worth it.
Food was okay, service was very slow.
Very disappointed that they were out of the menu item we wanted to order
Hi there SBMBLB! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I hate to hear that we were out of the one item that your heart was set on enjoying while dining with us! Since we are a farm to table restaurant, some of our best items on our menu are getting harder and harder to get in. We are doing the best we can with having the items our guests love while still ensuring the quality that we stand by. In the future, feel free to give us a call to check if we have that item you love!
Food and ambiance were great. We had the eggplant pie, squash ravioli, and scallop risotto and have no complaints. Pumpkin Spice Moscow mule was freaking delicious!
Only disappointment was the Brie. The plate it came out on was scalding hot but the Brie was lukewarm and the bread was ice cold. It seemed like the plate was in the oven longer than the Brie was. I would have liked for the Brie to have been baked a little longer so it would have been all mushy and delicious.
We enjoyed our dinners except the eggplant pie.
the waiter was very good even though the restaurant was packed. All in all it was an enjoyable evening.
Enjoyed our scallop risotto and gnocchi. Salads were delicious- though quite large, almost a meal in themselves. We probably would have shared one if we had realized.
Main disses were great, drinks were ok as well as the dessert. Service was awesome!! Apps totally not worth it.
Host greeted us and sat us. Waitress was nice and energetic. Appetizer was the best part of meal. Entree was bland, plain and simple. I had heard good things about this restaurant so decided or try it. I was disappointed in my food.
Service was very good. Value for the money was good. Nice outdoor courtyard atmosphere.
Great food and atmosphere. We love coming here. The service was not as great as it usually is however maybe the waitress was having a bad day. Not sure.
Great, small menu, but what they do, they do very very well!
Even though we had reservations, we still had to wait 20+ minutes until our table was ready. We mentioned to our server we had an event that we needed to get to but she still took forever to even take our drink order, and then again when we were beyond ready to order our meal which we had to rush through in order to get out of there. An hour and a half should have been plenty of time for dinner I’m the late afternoon but apparently it wasn’t. My friend chose this spot for her 40th birthday celebration (mentioned in the reservation) but we didn’t even have a chance to get her a dessert due to the slow service.
We enjoyed our meal in the lovely outdoor courtyard with a wonderful server named Emily. We found the bruschetta, cheese plate, eggplant pie, wine, garlic knots, and budino all perfectly prepared and delicious.
I have had a good meal at Gravy in the past and last night I had the Scallop Risotto and it was fabulous. However, the rest of the food for our entire table (part of six) was really less than what I would have expected. That said, the service was great. The GM came to our table and was wonderful. I love how the restaurant feels - I was just sad that the food was slightly better than just ok.
My wife is allergic to tomatoes but had them throughout her dish despite alerting the server Also her pasta was undercooked. We got a discount but food was not very good.
With so many shortages in hospitality, one should inquire what dishes are cooked-to-order and what was prepared in advance for the best dining experience.
Had perfect noise level where did not need to shout to hear each other. Food was delicious.
Great service! Authentic Italian food. Will go again
My wife and I went there for our anniversary and had a great time in a mostly quiet setting. I had the gnochhi with shrimp added and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had!! Such great texture, sauce, and flavor! I will be ordering this dish many times more in the future!
Wonderful dinner and loved the Gravy Old Fashion!
We've been to Gravy many times and always enjoyed it, but our meal this time was lackluster at best. The drinks and risotto balls appetizer were fine, but things went downhill from there. Both our salads were very underdressed and basically amounted to a plate of dry lettuce with some sparse add-ins. My wife's bruleed brie salad had a dry, thumb sized chunk of brie on top, and was missing the poached apples. My italian chopped salad was missing the olives and had just a few sad little tomatoes mixed in. Our entrees were not really any better. My wife's scallop risotto had well-cooked scallops, but the risotto was much too chunky and thick with no creaminess at all. My tagliatelle bolognese had undercooked pasta to the point of almost being crunchy. Both entrees were quite bland and underseasoned. Overall this meal was far beneath the standard that we've come to expect from Gravy, and frankly a meal at Olive Garden for half the price would have been more satisfying. My hope is that this was just an off night and not a trend, as this has long been one of our favorite Italian restaurants.
This is the go to place for me and my women friends for a girls night out. The menu is varied enough for everyone. Their salads and seasonal sangria are always winners.
We had reservations and were seated immediately. The service was great and waitstaff was very friendly. The restaurant began to fill by 6:30 pm. The food was excellent and the garlic knots to die for!
Gravy has changed in the last year. It went from being a casual fine dining experience with exceptional service and food to service that is just ok and food that is very basic tasting.
