Ask any Italian-American what ‘gravy’ is, and they'll tell you it's the pasta sauce that their mothers and grandmothers cooked fresh every night. At Gravy Restaurant we take the same care, preparing our signature sauce every day using select tomatoes and locally grown herbs. The heart and soul poured into the preparation of traditional Italian-American dishes pairs with inspired modern twists and a focus on seasonal ingredients to define Gravy’s unique approach to this classic cuisine.

Gravy Ratings and Reviews
Usually this place is great, but we went on New Years for dinner, starting with the host - the greeting wasn't great. The food was alright - presentations were not at point, the crostini they gave in the salami board were burnt, the meatballs were hard (overcooked) in the spaghetti dish. Service was okay.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow. I think it was only because it was Christmas week, and they seemed to be a little short staffed. Our server was great, and was extremely knowledgeable on the wine selections. They have the best Bolognese, and Eggplant pie! Gravy rocks!
Limited appetizer menu and salad separate cost from main menu. Chicken parm was dry, not enough sauce, way too much for one person. Very red meat heavy menu. Very disappointed considering its reputation. Only had the main entry and thus had no vegie at all.
Absolutely amazing service but the food was lacking. My lasagna was cold in the middle and my dates pumpkin ravioli was just boring, however, the brie bites were fantastic and the dessert was alright. Beer and wine selection was great. Had a decent time overall.
I have never been to Gravy before and brought my adult daughter and family there for her birthday. My neighbors highly recommended your restaurant. However, I was very disappointed in Gravy for a downtown restaurant. We had reservations at 8pm. The kitchen was out of 3 main dishes and there was no bread. The waitress was not friendly or attentive. I will say the homemade pasta was very good. However, I was truly disappointed with the overall experience and will not return and definitely would not recommend! Too many other great options.
Worst experience ever which was a surprise. Waited 30 minutes after the time of reservation . They were out of bread. Food was cold. Service was worst I have had there. I know they can be better so was very disappointed. Probably because they know they will have the business no matter what.
Lackluster. I really want to love Gravy -the food is delicious and authentic italian, unfortunately the experience is not memorable. Again. We ordered the lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parm, all fresh, nicely flavored, with the spaghetti itself lukewarm, rather than hot. Garlic knots were not available, so we were served slivers of toasted buttered bread. 3 slivers. I thought a cornerstone for Gravy was the garlic knots. Not available at 6 pm, prime dinner time? A good Italian meal is finished with the bread used to soak up the remaining sauce while enjoying the end of the meal. Meager crusty slivers of bread do not serve a purpose other than an afterthought. The layered cannoli cake tasted stale and not edible for any of our guests. After we were delivered the check, the waitress was no where to be found, so we were unable to get a box for the tiramusa , which was worth bringing home. It's these continued, simple inconsistencies of service that trip up Gravy being a stand out, "we must return" kind of place. Overall the experience was disappointment.
The service was excellent as we celebrated a birthday. The food at Gravy is ALWAYS so fresh and delicious. It is a fun place to go and love that the menu is not pages and pages but you know anything you get will satisfy your palette and you will have excellent service.
First time to Gravy for lunch and they delivered just as they do for dinner. Staff was ready for the lunch crowd and very attentive to our large group, all while having a full restaurant and a private party downstairs! It was a first visit for all others in my party of ten and they all loved it! I did have to explain the meaning of "Gravy" to these Southern Belles who only understand brown gravy on meat and potatoes. I am confident they will be back to enjoy Gravy again.
Always appreciate a restaurant and staff that delivers when you take people who have never been! Keep up the good work.
Anniversary dinner. Ruined, and there are no “do-overs.” Asked for a table suitable for celebrating our special evening, and instead was seated right in front of the door. Every cold blast when the door opened hit us, and everyone leaving the restaurant managed to kick one leg of my chair. The waiter for the table behind us hit me in the back of the head, and leaned backwards into us to take a picture and we had to duck to keep from being head-butted. Another patron managed to pull my hair as he was exiting the building, not paying attention to where he was going, and large groups entering the restaurant thought it was appropriate to gather around and lean on top of our table as they waited 15-20 minutes for theirs. Awful, awful experience!!!!
Always pleased with Gravy! Great food in a wonderful atmosphere. I never thought I’d order spaghetti and meatballs at a restaurant, but you can’t go wrong with even a “simple” dish like spaghetti and meatballs. And, the kale Caesar salad is phenomenal! My favorite is the mushroom spinach rollatini, but the menu changes seasonally.
Eggplant Pie. What a wonderful dish. We had a party of four. Showed up early for a Saturday reservation, but got right in. The service was excellent. The waiter helped us choose a nice wine and everyone loved the food. For dessert, the Cannoli cake was the favorite.
We had a 6:30 reservation arrived a little early & were seated immediately . The restaurant immediately grabs you with an old world type charm . Not very big but perfect for a cozy dinner . My only con would be the table , small table for 2 that was wobbly which was very annoying . I wish we had of been seated in booth . When making the reservation booth seating was not listed as a choice . I will have to remember to add that as a special request next time. Our food was exceptional and arrived in timely intervals. We had the calamari for an appetizer, I had the lasagna for my dinner entree , my date had the spaghetti & meatballs. Portions are extremely generous . We both had enough to take home for lunch the next day . Everything was delicious . Our waiter was very friendly & helpful with our wine selection. By the time we finished , the place was pretty close to full . There is a great vibe in this restaurant . There is a parking garage right next door which was very convenient if there is no on street parking available . A great place & look forward to my next visit .
Each of the five diners ordered something different - one seafood, two meat entrees, one pasta and one vegetarian. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. We felt the cheese and meat tray was a little short on cheese, but had no other concerns. We'll definitely go again.
