   Great meal at Sunday lunch time. Open fire cooking of most dishes, including starters was sensational. Beef very well cooked and flavoursome. Roasties awesome. Attentive service. Recommended.

   We enjoyed our night, but the serving on staff were very inexperienced and one young lady was holding the fort for upstairs and downstairs. Not having there own toilet facilties is a down side for me. But saying that we enjoyed the food.

   Food quality was very good. Excellent cut of beef. Quantity was a big letdown. The one slice of beef was barely 1cm thick. We shared a moderate sized potato. 3 pieces of leek were on each plate. This was for 35 pounds sterling. On a Sunday lunchtime elsewhere in London, you can get a hell of a lot more. Granted, in many places the beef may not be of as high quality. The restaurant is located in the arches at Camden Lock. There is little to distinguish it from the host of other eateries that are competing for customers. They are charging substantially less. The next issue is the fact that the nearest lavatories are outside the restaurant and up on a higher level. There is a constant queue as they are public. Finally, there was an irritating constant loud clicking caused by the extractor. The last two issues are recognised by the very pleasant staff. Unless there is a complete rethink on pricing or portions, it is difficult to see how the restaurant will survive. The meagre number of customers indicated that people do not want to pay these prices for such slim portions in such a location, especially when ambience and facilities are lacking.

   We had the Sunday roast which was quite disappointing. The sirloin was tough! Very small amount of vegetables were disappointing. The leek was undercooked and the potatoes were strange. The waitress was delightful, but I’m not sure the management understood. I complained about the potatoes.

   Honestly.. that was an incredible meal. The staff are so welcoming and the food is extremely tasty. This place is 10 10! I would highly recommend!

    We were the first customers in so the noise level was quiet The staff were very good The chef was chatting to us when we asked him a few questions and the food was amazing ! I’ll defo go back highly recommend No overpriced get yourselves down there guys !!
