Asked for a quiet table, seated smack out in the middle, next to the bar on one side and four bros in “team gear” on the other side, so that was an immediate fail (ironically, we have been seated in the same spot every time we’ve dined here). There were plenty of better options for us, I guess that worked better for them. Menu is … sparse. Meal took about 30 minutes to arrive, and only after the server pushed for a second round of cocktails in that clumsy, up selling way. We were glad not to be offered dessert or coffee and, happily, did get the check promptly on request. Overall … meh. Nothing special, not awful, albeit a bit overly smug.

We went to the Grange for my son’s birthday and all four of our meals were outstanding. We all cleaned our plates! Expensive yes, but a lovely night out and worth it.

The food was flavorful and well balanced. The BLT Benedict with pork belly was delicate and smoky! At noon the restaurant was mostly empty and very peaceful. Our server was charismatic and charming. Unfortunately they were out of the Beignets on the desert menu. Over all a great experience!

Service staff was excellent. The manager is friendly and generous. It was my wife's birthday and he gave us two free desserts and coffee and tea. The food was scrumptious. We will be back.

I brought a work colleague who was in from out of town. I’m a fan of The Grange and have eaten there 10-15 times. I was super disappointed with the fish tacos. The fish barely made an appearance. It was overwhelmingly batter and shredded lettuce mix. My colleague said his pastrami sandwich was just ok. Hope this is an exception and not a trend. But how dead it was for lunch makes me wonder.

The fresh flowers at the entrance of the restaurant are just beautiful. Food was changed some from last time. Overall nice and clean facility with nice waiter "Stephan" was his name - not sure if I spelled it correctly- Great breakfast!! Conny G

Nice quiet dining. Great food and atmosphere. Use the valet, it’s only $10. The restaurant will add it to your bill. There is offsite parking around the corner but that area is a little sketchy at night. Overall great date night restaurant. I will be back.

We weren't as satisfied with our dinner last night as we were in previous visits to Grange. My peach salad had peaches which were not yet ripe. My pork chop was very good. My wife had sea scallops which were very salty. We brought our own wine and the $20 corkage fee was very reasonable. We hadn't been here in a while and were looking forward to our return.......a bit disappointing. We'll try again but difficult for me to recommend based on last night's dinner.

We had a fabulous dinner and will definitely go back the next time we are in Sacto. The food was very creative and super tasty. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails were excellent and they had an extensive wine list with a good variety of price points. The peach salad was a wonderful seasonal dish. The ahi was served with little deviled quail eggs, soooo good! My husband said the halibut was the best fish dish he has ever had. We finished the meal with the chocolate filled beignets served with a butterscotch dipping sauce.

Delicious watermelon salad (+5) and corn and shrimp gazpacho {+5) excellent swordfish and desserts {+5) but we had a steak aged for 60 days and it was offered at $69 and we were charged $73. That is my only complaint.

The food and particularly the service were off during this visit. We had to ask a couple of times for bread and a second bottle of wine we ordered. The waitress just seemed to disappear for long stretches. Maybe short staffing? Anyway, the food also was not as good as prior visits. The mussels were small and the portion inadequate, though the broth was delicious. Overall, could have been better.

Well you would get a whole different review if you asked my husband who never complains and loves food. I am the food critic. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere outstanding. Food, well. I make steak tartare and have had good steak tartare. This one was not because it wasn't anything like steak tartare. By that I mean the BBQ chips served with the tartare was too overpowering. The steak tartare itself was soaked in a marinade or something, therefore it tasted sweet. The summer cocktails were sweet as well. That was my bad I guess. Pork Chop- I really missed the apple or other fruit taste which is so good with pork. This one had way too much corn and very little contrast. The tomato salad and the stone fruit salad were both very good! The table bread was too crusty. Hard to eat. We will be back soon but we will not be ordering overpriced drinks or the overpriced pork chop.

It was early for breakfast, there was maybe five other people in there. My French toast came out cooler than room temperature.I personally didn’t like it at all, the temp or flavor.The bacon was cool in temp as well. The waitress was polite, but slow for refills and to get the check. It was over priced for the quality of food served. Honestly, IHOP does better with serving a hot breakfast. If they upgraded the decor and they could get away with the prices of the Grange. I was very disappointed.

We had reservations at 12:30, arrived at noon and were able to get in right away. We gals had Luna’s Sangrias and guya Bloody Marys. Delish! Would get them again. The food was absolutely delicious! Plentiful too! We started with house biscuits w prosciutto and pepper jelly. I could have stopped there. Finger licking good. Moved on to the brunch burger and fries. The guys each got one and we gals split one. Best burger I remember having! If you like Ranch dressing w your fries, definitely get a side of theirs. You’ll be licking the ramekin it’s served in. Our server was nice but not very attentive. Perhaps she was serving in a different area too? We would all go back there again if in Sacramento.
