   Grand Street Lenexa just keeps bringing the fine cuisine for KC with a fun, hip energy in an upscale setting. Tonight we had a couple of Grand Street traditions with the tuna tartar appetizer and the pork chop dinner. Grand Street is a master of juicy decadent pork chops and the spicy smoked mac and cheese is literally the perfect compliment to that huge double cut chop. Also enjoyed the prime rib tacos and a scallop and shrimp entrée. Another treat not to overlook is their Caesar salad, that homemade Caesar us second to none. Rounded out the meal with double espresso and a phyllo dough encased rich gooey brownie served ala mode. Thank you Grand Street Lenexa for a wonderful date night supper!

   The service was outstanding. Sophia was our server and was a joy to have at our table. Very timely and attention to detail. She is a great asset to your restaurant.

   Grand Street Lenexa is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. I went to happy hour with 2 friends today, and we enjoyed every minute there. The ambiance, service, drinks, and food were all superb. The owner Rick stopped by our table twice to make sure we were happy with our orders. We will definitely return soon and recommend this restaurant to our friends.

   I had a business lunch and this is a great place to meet, as the atmosphere is nice and the noise level is low so you can actually have a conversation! Plus the food is always excellent!

   Four diners. 3 had chicken dishes in which chicken was overcooked and tough. 4th had the beef fillet which was overall good, cooked as ordered, tender. The various salads were good. Not first time with Grand Street but food has been better on the Plaza.

   Several issues that I honestly should have addressed during the meal but we were too busy talking to our friends- way too much dressing on the Caesar salad, we were charged the regular price for an appetizer that was on the happy hour menu (we were still there during happy hour), and there were no brussels sprouts with the trout dinner as the menu said there would be. I should have kept a menu with me but I did not. But I will in the future at other restaurants for reference. Parking is a challenge. I doubt we will be back.

   Sheryl - I am so sorry to hear about your experience and yes, you should have alerted us. Our owner tried to check on every table that evening and had no issues from the people he spoke with. We had no other comments on the Ceasar Salad so this might have been just a matter of personal preference for you. If our bill was incorrect, we wish you had brought this to our attention. As far as the brussels sprouts, they were not whole but shaved. We do have plenty of free parking in the garage directly across the street so not sure why that was a challenge. Most issues may be resolved on the spot rather than reading about it as we are doing now. We do hope you might try us again in the future.

   Food was good. Our server, Song, was very cheerful and provide great service. We did have to wait several minutes at the hostess desk, no one ever came to greet us. In fact,a member from our party stood up so we sat ourselves. Our reservation was at 5:30 so not busy with patrons at all.
