The restaurant is one of my favorite and I always make a reservation before arriving in England. But one thing always disturbs me about going there is the general attitude of the staff. Some are extremely friendly and some extremely unfriendly.

We had eaten at the Heddon street kitchen before and then decided to try this one, service was not great food was good but better at Heddon street

The steak tartare is tiny for £17. No fries with that either. Wouldn’t order this again. The set menu is good value but it actually cost more than what I booked. 2 courses for £20 on Opentable. 2 courses for £22 at restaurant. Not good. Don’t know whose fault is this?

Amazing! The area is lovely and this location was very posh yet relaxed at the same time. We were greeted right away and sat at a lovely corner table. I ordered a Mojito that was very yummy, but snuck up on me very quickly. We had the beef wellington for 2 and it was really enough for 3 or 4. We sadly couldn't finish it. It was delicious and cooked to perfection! It was our anniversary so the waiter surprised us with a cute desert that was small but rich. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!!!

Overall a good experience. I had wanted to order the beef Wellington but when I saw how huge it was, it was way more than we could have eaten. I wish they offered a petite portion. I got the lobster roll instead. I would have liked more lobster and less roll, but it was delicious.

Khalid, our server, went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing first experience at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I went with my mom for a joint celebration and he was so kind to give in to our multiple requests for photos, even taking initiative to take a video when he served the wellington and the birthday brownie surprise. He constantly checked in to see if all was well and was a great conversationalist each time so we felt at home. After he heard that my mom is flying back home tomorrow, he came back with a signed menu by the chefs for her to bring as a souvenir. Thank you, Khalid! Overall, we enjoyed the food and experience so much!We would love to be back for the next special occasion.

Fantastic food and amazing staff. Only issue was the music was so loud and there was a television on near our table, which brought the tone down so low. Once we asked the staff they were very pleasant and turned off the tv and turned down the volume. I got the feeling other customers around us were very pleased this happened. Two staff members were so friendly at end of night, male and female , sorry don't have their names. It was my birthday and they sang happy birthday to me and a complementary cocktail...will definitely be back, just keep the tv off !!

BT was our server. He was great. I’m not sure of the restaurant host’s name, but he recognized that we were returning customers and could not have been more accommodating. The food was excellent in very large portions. Tasty and well prepared. Sports bar type ambience so was noisy but not crazy and very upbeat. Reasonably priced. Recommend highly. Will return when we’re in London again.
