   My mother and I had tea at the Castle and had an amazing experience. Katie was our server and she was so upbeat and polite and made the experience even better. The teas we both tried were both delicious and the food was great as well…seriously the cream of asparagus soup was phenomenal. I will say that we went right at 11AM and it was the perfect timing because it did start to get very loud as it got closer to a full seating at 12-12:30PM but that was our only annoyance to be honest. I think it’s a fun experience and value for the money. We walked next door to the carriage house and the staff there was equally as welcoming and friendly, and our coffees from there were delicious also. Highly recommend you do this at least once.

   We had a great tea at Glen Eyrie. Our group included my Mom (in 70s), two of my adult daughters (late 20s) , my son in law (late 20s) and myself (50s). Even though our group spanned 50 years, we all had a great time. The grounds and castle were beautiful. Every one was very helpful and happy. Our server Katie was wonderful. She was very attentive and smiled the whole time. The food was full of flavor. The asparagus soup was so good I could have eaten a quart of it. We will definitely do this again. Notes: If you go, your tea includes a day pass to the grounds, I would encourage you to go early or stay late and take a change of clothes and shoes, this will allow you to be comfortable walking around. The only thing I would change is that all the ladies in our group wish we had worn hats. So next time, we will get hats to wear for our tea.

   We sat next to someone with a small. Hold with an iPad turned up but still really loved the experience!

   The interior of the tea room was amazing, the tea selection paired well with the ‘Spring Tea’ menu. The staff was very accommodating and helpful in making some slight changes to the food; for food allergies. Overall, it was pleasant.

   Everything we experienced at Glen Eyrie exceeded our expectations, including the afternoon tea. The teas and food were all delicious, and the exceptional atmosphere was matched by the service.

   I was genuinely looking forward to my afternoon tea experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. From the beginning, the service felt extremely rushed. Our server continued bringing out menu items even though my guest and I were still enjoying previous courses, and they even tried to clear our plates before we had finished eating. While the tea selection offered a decent variety, it was disappointing to find that only bagged teas were available — no loose-leaf options. If you wish to try a different type of tea, be aware that you will incur an extra charge. Another important note: plan to stay no more than an hour. Although my guest and I were simply catching up and enjoying our conversation, staff interactions made it clear that we were being urged to finish and leave, which was quite off-putting. As for the food, the scones (both savory and sweet) were delightful and paired well with the tea. However, the chorizo sandwich featured on the Spring 2025 menu was much too heavy and its strong flavors overpowered any tea selection. The setting inside the Glen Castle was charming and well-suited for afternoon tea. However, due to the rushed service, additional fees, and some poor menu pairings, I do not plan to return for another reservation.

   This one of those more unique things you do for the experience, not just the food. Great idea for a ladies' afternoon or a holiday/birthday celebration. Get there early or stay after your tea time to walk around the castle grounds. There are lots of places to get a gorgeous group photo.

   If u expecting British tea food then u will be disappointed. This is NOT a British high tea. The sandwiches were muffulettas!! There is NO pepperoni in English high tea. Mini American pizzas is not British high tea! I was expecting British sandwiches of cucumber, smashed egg, watercress and so on. It was strange. Also the earl grey tea tastes nothing like earl grey. The place was lovely. But the food needs some serious attention.

    Having never had tea before, this was such an incredible experience for my whole family. Delicious tea and the bakery items were so wonderful! Lovely atmosphere!
