Ginza Bairin is located on 255 Beach walk at Waikiki and serving authentic Japanese Tonkatsu and Yoshoku ( Bistro) dishes that were inspired by Western ingredients.

Ginza Bairin offers (2) separate dining experiences,The Tonkatsu Room and The Yoshoku Room.
Each Room offers different menu items, with 10 Signature Tonkatsu items available on both.

In the Tonkatsu room : We serve all range of Tonkatsu dishes.
We serve high-quality Berkshire pork (Kurobuta) that forms the basis for the cutlet dishes, along with the low-sugar bread crumb batter and premium salad oil used to create a perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside in every bite. Ginza Bairin’s signature Tonkatsu Sauce, a blend of spices, fruits, and vegetables, brings out the natural sweetness and robust flavor of the Tonkatsu.

In the Yoshoku & Bistro room : Japanese dishes that were inspired by Western ingredients like Omrice and Hamburger steak, Napolitan spaghetti, Beef stew, Seafood Gratin and so on.

Our experience completely ruined our dinner plans for the night. When booking the reservation a day in advance, the restaurant asked us to send them a message if we were interested in ordering the omurice since the dish is limited. However, what they failed to mention and specify is that they only make 15 of these dishes per day. We booked our reservation and made the trip out there specifically for this dish, and when we arrived, the waitress apologized with a smile, saying they were sold out and that they have no such question asking about the omurice during the reservation, when in fact they did.

This is my second visit to this restaurant. It’s just as delicious as it was 7 years ago. We all had the specialty pork chop which is great. My son got it on a tonkatsu don bowl with the egg and sauce . Also great. Best Katsu I’ve ever had.

It was the best decision we did today! Super satisfied with how the food tastes especially the curry sauce and the tenderloin katsu! just WOW! I even ordered extra rice because one serving was not enough! SUPER YUMMY! Definitely worth the visit! The Pork Tonkatsu was cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here.
