Food was good, we tried carpaccio & truffle pasta and a fig desert. Had a few cocktails which were pretty strong & tasty. Good time with friends but I would suggest going there for cocktails and a small desert rather than a full meal. Outside area isnt bad. However the waiter was very annoying, asking us about our nationality and making other inappropriate comments.

Tucked away in the corner of a quiet, cobbled backstreet in Mayfair, Gigi's offers the perfect location for an intimate occasion. The welcome was warm, the staff exceedingly friendly and the service and food second to none. I had purchased an extremely good value 'Wowcher' which I handed to the receptionist on arrival. I am never quite sure what kind of reaction to expect, whether we would be treated differently to the customers who have paid full price, but at Gigi's, this was never the case. In fact, we were treated like royalty from the minute we arrive until the moment we left. Our waiter, in particular, was outstanding. He explained how long the meal would take to cook (we ordered T-bone steak), and offered to bring us bread and oils to keep us going! We had a bottle of red wine (natch) which was delicious, and a couple of beers (an Italia beer I had never heard of, but will certainly be drinking again), and potatoes and mushrooms with our steak, which was exactly how steak should taste. The whole experience was out of this world, and we will be returning as soon as 'Wowcher' offer me another deal! Magnificent night out, Gigi's, thank you.

I can see why reviews of this restaurant vary widely. The service and ambience were good but the value of the menu varied tremendously depending on what you choose. We had an Amazon local voucher costing £39 for a 3 course meal for 2 people with a bottle of Prosecco. There was an additional charge of £8-81 for service and a side order of potatoes. I had chicken Caesar salad for a starter and it could have easily passed for a main course but my wife had crab salad that was minute – I would not have been happy if I had chosen it. For main courses we both had salmon, which came with just peas so we had a side order of potatoes that was plenty for 2 people. Would recommend the salmon. Deserts were okay. The set menu had limited choice and as indicated above varied in value. You need to order sides otherwise the main course could be boring and not enough.

Anybody with knowledge of Italian cuisine would find their dishes unattractive. Overcooked pasta with too much salt, couldn't finish it; this dish was very far away from the photos on the website. The waiter suggested a side of potatoes because the main dish had no sides, to then find out the dish already had mash. I honestly feel a rip off. For the quality offered, I would pay 30-40% less than we did. No reason to be in top classifications for restaurants in Mayfair.

Used a travel zoo voucher for dinner at the end of a shopping day. It was excellent value with a good choice of food. The restaurant has a discreet but not stuffy atmosphere. Everything we ate was beautifully cooked and served. The staff were friendly , knowledgable and very polite. Would we use this restaurant again ??? Definitely we would.

Had a nice meal but not special... Service was ok...a little more culinary knowledge wouldn't go amiss .... Portions were very small unless you paid for the extras...service from waiters was good...and you could have fun with them...a one and only ...

Tucked away just off Oxford Street, Gigi's is a little slice of heaven. Sophisticated and great atmosphere, and the food is great.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we could tell that the staff were struggling and very rushed. Service throughout the meal was probably the least attentive we've experienced. We had to ask more than once for refills of water and drinks menus and we were continuously given the wrong menus; we were eating from the al la carte but we were handed the set menu every time. We were later informed by the manager that two of his staff hadn't shown up for work so this explained the poor service. However, our waiter for the evening was so quiet we couldn't hear anything he said and he never once made eye contact with either of us which was very off putting. Putting aside the poor service, the food was excellent. We truly couldn't fault any of our 3 courses or our drinks for that matter. On the evening we were there (a Saturday evening for a 7:30pm sitting) there was an in house DJ. We personally didn't like this, the music was unsuitable for the style of restaurant and also far too loud, we found ourselves almost shouting at each other to be heard! Putting aside the service, which we assume was a one off, we would go again as the food is worth the awful music!

We came here to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary and could not have chosen better! The staff were very friendly and knowledgable, especially our waiter, Merczer, I know I haven't got that right as very difficult to pronounce let alone spell, he was excellent! He kept our glasses continually topped up with a very nice, refreshing Prosecco. Our starter of Chicken Caesar was certainly fresh with just the right amount of dressing, our main was a perfectly cooked salmon fillet with petits pots, a side of sauté potatoes & wilted spinach, all were absolutely delicious! Finally, our dessert of strawberry pannacotta was sublime. We loved every moment of our Gigi's experience so Thank You so much!
