I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. This place had such a great vibe. The food and service were both top-tier. We got dressed up, but it appeared you could dress up or down here from what we saw. That did catch us a little off guard considering this to be a fine dining restaurant and the prices. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and definitely plan to return.

Everything was excellent! For an appetizer, we ordered the popcorn shrimp, which was tasty. For entrees, my daughter ordered the fried chicken, which was flavorful and moist. My husband and I ordered the ribeye, which was very flavorful. We requested medium, I think it was maybe a bit more medium rare but we don’t mind that at all. We found the crème brûlée cheesecake to be particularly tasty. Overall, a great experience, with great service and will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our entire experience from beginning to end. The service was impeccable. We could not have asked for better care during our anniversary dinner and the food was incredibly delicious. For us, the crab risotto was not a winner, but it was different and good to try Cajun oysters so freaking good!!

This is our second time going to George’s. The first time was a rehearsal dinner and it was so fabulous. We came back. The second time was just as exceptional.

We had a great evening to celebrate my son’s high school graduation together with our delayed anniversary. Baller’s board is the right choice to go with wagu A5 prime steak crab leg which meets everyone’s expectations. The service is top notch as well attends to all the details.

Dined here last night for my birthday. RSVP was for 6 people, but the table setting was for 8 people. My guests were seated separately even after mentioning the name on the reservation. The service was slow - we waited for over 15 minutes before our waiter took drink orders. The wedge salad was not worth the price, and the branzino does not need the old bay rub or whatever seasoning was used.

The food was great but the service and the area was quite unclean. Food debris on the floors and chairs. When we highlighted those to the server she responded “there only a few pieces”. We don’t expect that from a high end restaurants. We requested a change of area and although we could see enough tables, the server refused.

Reserved a table, not a bar table. All food was extremely late and delivered at different times. Food was not even good. $22 for 4 no meat baby back ribs. Won’t go back. Bartender service was great, but she could only do so much.

Having enjoyed several memorable meals at Georgia James' previous location, including our engagement dinner, we were excited to celebrate Mother's Day at their new venue. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Our noon reservation started off on a less than ideal note, as we were seated in a small annex room near the restrooms. The service was notably slow, with a 20-minute wait for initial drink orders and another 30 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. Communication from our server was infrequent, leaving us uncertain about the status of our meals. The pacing of the meal was extremely inconsistent. My wife ordered a salad as her main course, which arrived promptly after ordering, but there was a significant delay (an HOUR wait) for the other main courses. When they finally arrived, my mother-in-law's ribeye was overcooked, and my short-rib ravioli was underdone and lacking flavor. The entire lunch lasted three hours, which felt excessive given the circumstances. We were disappointed by the lack of communication from management or our server regarding the delays and the overall underwhelming food. While we understand that holidays can be challenging for restaurants, the combination of slow service, cooking inconsistencies, and lack of attentiveness was unexpected for an establishment of Georgia James' caliber and price point. We hope this was an isolated incident due to Mother's Day preparations, but it has made us hesitant about returning any time in the near future. We fondly remember our past experiences at Georgia James and hope they can address these issues to return to the high standards we've previously enjoyed.
