This was my first time dining here, but it certainly won't be my last. The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. I highly recommend dining outside on the charming patio, which has so much character and great ambiance. Also, while I'm not a big meat eater, the beef wellington was so worth it. Five stars!

Pretty bad experience. My wife and I went there for our anniversary dinner. We started off at the bar where we ordered two drinks. The bartender served me my drink, but completely forgot to make my wife’s drink. We watched her serve other guests and when I asked about my wife’s drink, she made an excuse that she was trying to catch up on the dinner crowd’s drinks. There were no dinner specials. My wife’s vodka tonic and my bourbon drink were served in soda glasses like you would get at your local pub ( fine for normal dine-out, but not a high end restaurant) The shrimp cocktail appetizer was served on a dinner plate with a piece of lettuce ( looked like 6 shrimp from Costco served on a plate from my cupboard)The beef Wellington was good, but small for $49. The crabcake was good, and my wife enjoyed her pork ribeye. There were families with kids making a lot of noise and running around. Again, fine for a normal dine-out, but zero ambiance for a special occasion.

First time at the General Warren Inn and was not disappointed. I chose the Beef Wellington, medium rare. It came with smashed potatoes, broccoli, and a red wine demi-glace sauce. The server (Colin) also brought warm rolls and butter prior to the entree arriving. Service was very good; Colin was attentive without being intrusive. If I have a chance to go back - I most certainly wood. I do think the entree was fairly priced. Perusing the dessert menu, I considered the simplicity of some ice cream, but I felt it was overpriced at $8.50 - and honestly, the quantity of food for the entree plate was quite sufficient. Colin brought an Andes chocolate/mint with the actual bill. There were no errors with the bill either, despite my use of a $30 birthday pak coupon.

I haven't been to the General Warren Inn in a long time. Our table was on the porch which was a nice setting. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was very good. It was a nice evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet which was great. I recommend the General Warren Inn for a nice dinner out.

Not quite as fabulous as previous meals. Wellington crust was undercooked, the Warren Burger was pricey and nothing special. A dead bug in water glass (quickly replaced but still!). We felt a bit rushed. Not a deal breaker, we’ll be back!

Prix fixe menu is a deal. Other entree items are reasonably priced. We had both prix fixe and main menu. All food was excellently prepared and great quality.

We celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary there. I am vegan and my husband is not. Both of our dishes were delicious and so very tasty. Tom our waiter was fantastic!! We simply couldn’t have dined at a more fabulous restaurant!!
