   The food the service was absolutely splendid. However, we call the manager over because the disco music clashed with the type of restaurant that it wants to be. A high class restaurant…please leave the disco music for a club and play some Brazilian or Argentinian music. I really mean that it makes a big difference.

    Food and service was great. We used a couple of gift cards. When the server returned one of our our cards, I told him that I would add a tip not knowing that he already took 20% off, and he never mentioned it. So he got 40%. No wonder he was so happy. It was not right what he did. We have been here many times as it is one of our favorite restaurants and will still be coming back again but will be more diligent when the bill comes.

    To start, I’ve been to GDS at the Vintage multiple times and we love it there. So much so that we actually recommended this location to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Reason being is that it is a more central location for the attendees. Well, after trying the lobster bisque, it went downhill from there. We wanted to give it a second chance after all the disappointments because people are allowed to have an off day. So we thought of going back a different day. However, after I checked my credit card transactions upon waking today, we won’t be going back. I’m definitely telling my friends to not go there as well. It’s not so much the price but the audacity to add another $100 to a tab that already paid the gratuity because we came in as a group. I usually tip 20% anyway so that’s not the issue. The issue is that after I left, the $100 was added into the final credit card charge when only $578.25 was authorized. This is after the $678.25 was paid with a $100 GDS gift card. There were 7 people in the party. 1 person decided they’d pay their own way. That’s fine. I picked up the tab so they won’t have to do math on how to split. It’s just super nice to wake up to surprise charges on the credit card.

    Loved Gauchos Do Sul! I’ve gone to other Brazilian steakhouses, but this is the best. The meat was tender. Salad bar was well stocked. Customer service is obviously at the top of their list. You can special order items. Don’t forget to leave room for the pineapple. It was the perfect ending to our meal.

    Terrible terrible. Questioned over the age of my daughter who is 10 in order to get kid pricing. Asked to provide a valid ID or birth certificate. Wtf so so rude after spending hundreds of dollars on a meal. Would never think about going back.

    Our experience was terrible. Our service was abysmal. Even with it being valentines and being busy, the server in our section was checking up on all the tables around us but would skip our table repeatedly. Our drinks were at the bar for 10 minutes and we had to request them to bring them to us. No one brought us our plates to start the service of the meat, and we had to end up going to the salad bar to get our own plates. We even spoke to a manager and nothing really changed afterwards. Our server brought us our sides after we asked for them and they brought us mashed potatoes without cheese and seasoning even though everyone around us at when we asked for the cheese and seasoning our server made us seem crazy for requesting that. We have been here before and always had a great time so it was really disappointing that our experience was so poor today.

    So stinkin good!! This place puts Fogo to shame. 20x better, better service, better food. We came as a double date group and we will definitely be back. The specialty drinks were beautiful and the salad bar had a wide variety. I have nothing negative to say other than the music got a little loud.

    Our server name was luis he got sent home a little early because it was his birthday we didnt know but he had Great Service he was a 110% Great , it was me and my wife first time and we loved it the food was Great the service outstanding we want them to know how Great Luis is !

    Amazing experience! If you thought Brazilian cuisine will leave you hungry, think again. You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes and meats.     We came for my brothers birthday and I ordered a dessert at the end they didn’t even put a candle on it, we were very disappointed when we saw others around the restaurant getting them. Overall food was decent, some meats better than others. They are very quick and always keep the food coming I’ll give them that. Cocktails weren’t anything spectacular, we ordered passion fruit cocktails and pretty sure it wasn’t passion fruit because it came out pink and the distinct flavor wasn’t there. Everyone was very nice and working hard but not making my brother’s birthday special did bother us a bit.

    As soon as you enter the restaurant, there was a company holiday happy hour going on with a DJ blasting music. We went out for a date night for a special occasion, we could barely hear each other, and were seated at a table placed in a walkway next to a glass wall where others could directly see us. It was not a good dining experience, however the food was very good. I would not recommend this restaurant for a date night, only large parties.

    I've been to all other Brazilian steakhouses in Houston, this was the priciest and my least favorite one. I can understand it being pricier because of the location, but the service was underwhelming. Salad bar was good, but not great. I didn't have any meat, but my friends said the meats were good. Not sure if they're just busy or what, but we had to keep asking for things several times before they will bring them. They also do not take away the used plates like the other places do, we kept having to flag down a waiter to hand them the used plates. Then the valet was a huge mess, took about 25 minutes before we got our cars!

    The place is great just be mentally ready for the live DJ and the extra than normal loud music, if that’s the vibe you like then this place is a 10 out of 10 just don’t expect a peaceful quite date night to unwind, it’s a party vibe.
