Celebrated my wife's birthday with friends - outstanding !!

Our new FAVORITE place! Everything was excellent! It was so much better than we hoped. We are recommending it to everyone we know and can’t wait to go back.

Food was absolutely amazing! From steak to lobster to the max and cheese it was all amazing. Kudos to the chef. Desert was average at best. But the entree was in our top 3 in the Houston market so far.

The steak was bland no flavor needed salt & pepper. The onion rings were ok tasted like grease. $16 for butter just ridiculous it should come with the steak. When I made reservations I let it be known that it was for a birthday yet we never received anything but the table next to us had a birthday dessert brought out to them

This place is a scam. Horrible ambiance, food poor especially for the prices, and service unprofessional.
Don’t even bother going here and spending your money.

It was unforgettable

The music and atmosphere was amazing! My date and I loved it and it made our night the best night we have had in a very very long time!

Loved the restaurant. Everything was wonderful except the maître d’ and one of the servers did NOT wear a mask. I found that extremely strange.

Loved this place!!! Definitely adding it to my top steakhouses in Houston. Food was amazing, everything was fresh, service was top notch, really made my mom feel special on her birthday. Don’t wait book here now!

Kevin was our server and he was wonderful. The filet steak 8oz and the sautéed shrimp were marvelous. 10/10 recommend!

Great Food

I was celebrating my birthday. It was a great experience. We shared the 40oz tomahawk and lobster. All the apps and sides were great. Our server Ben took great care of us. Will definitely be back.

I took my cousin to this restaurant tonight for his birthday. We had the deviled eggs as an appetizer (my cousin said they were good but I don’t eat deviled eggs), I had a wedge salad (it was good just too much dressing), we both had steaks. They were good and cooked well (bone in ribeye and porterhouse). The brûlée corn is amazing. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. The reason for the two star rating, after a $289 tab (plus $50 tip) and the hour drive back home, we realize he gave us the wrong food to go. I called the restaurant to express my concern, and the manager was defensive and stated “that’s why we bag the food at the table to avoid that.” Well they didn’t bag our food at the table (which I told him). After spending that much money, I’d expect a different response. At least an apology. Not sure if I’ll visit again sadly.

From the moment I valet parked my vehicle, excitement was in the air for my dining experience at Gatsby. I enjoyed a beverage at the bar since I arrived early and was blown away by the signature cocktails and the overtly friendliness of the mixologist and hostess. Once my party was seated in the main dining room I was drawn in by the strong yet inviting décor that put me in the mind of a antique steak house from the roaring 20s. It felt sexy and seductive. My party ordered a full course of appetizers to share along with salads, steak, lobster and wine of course. I loved the attention to detail and the food was phenomenal.

It was our first time eating at Gatsby’s. The ambiance was great and food was amazing. The mac and cheese is a must.

Service was good. I didn’t appreciate that the waiter added fries to our bill without anyone at the table ordering them. It was 4 of us and since someone had asked for bread and he cane out going putting this item our plates, we initially thought “maybe they bring this out to every table. Well, not the case, I never like to feel someone got over on me Another thing is the split check, which he refused to do and said it could only be split down the middle. We should’ve pushed for a manager but didn’t. I didn’t like that.

Yet another fabulous evening at Gatsby’s. From the cozy, clubby atmosphere to the fantastic steaks, sides and service, a night at Gatsby’s is always an experience worth repeating.

The food was over priced. The wagyu tastes like regular beef so save your money and order a regular cut. Also, the medium well ribeye was charged, almost burnt.

The food was truly amazing! We had several appetizers and some of their signature drinks ahead of our meal. I think our favorites were the deviled eggs and calamari. Our waiter was great. He explained the idea behind the restaurant, gave suggestions on items that we might want to try, etc. Our group has a tradition of going to steakhouses on Christmas Eve - we're all pretty particular about our steaks. I can honestly say, it was the best steak I have ever had. My only complaint there? I wish I had MORE!

But truly, my only actual complain? There was a strange odor when I walked into the restaurant. It smelled a bit like a restroom or like they were having a sewage issue. I'm pretty sensitive to smells, so I thought that maybe I was crazy, until my friend who was dining with us mentioned it, too.

This was our second time to Gatsby's Steakhouse. Our first time was excellent with 5 star service. This time it wasn't that amazing.

Pros -
The food was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly, on time, and visually pleasing.

Cons -
We felt like the waiter was rushing us and trying to influence our decision on every choice. We knew what we wanted, and this was the reason we went back for Christmas Eve dinner.

I ordered the Boulevardier which was sweet and not mixed/swirled. The first sip was like cough syrup and the glass smelled like eggshell (not washed properly). Also, there were no cherries added. It's pretty much an old fashisoned cocktail.

There was also an employee just standing in the dining area with a suit on. I caught him staring at folks numerous times. I have no idea why he was there, but I believe he could have helped the waiters and other colleagues in assisting clients.

Lighting is dark. I have poor night vision, so it was a hassle looking at the menu or what I was served without the help of my phone's light.

Again, the food was excellent. Everything else could have been better.

Gatsby’s was fantastic. We went for our anniversary and the service and food was outstanding.

We had a very memorable first experience at Gatsby’s. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be going back soon. Additionally the cream corn brûlée is a must try.

It was fantastic and I love the new room with the booths.

This was an awesome experience, with attentive staff and servers. My Fiancé and I enjoyed the food especially the corn Brule! and The steak was prepared to perfection. The valet service is available with a short wait, this is a place that we will attend at least once a month.

Service and food outstanding. Jessica was our server and she did an amazing job. We had lamb chops all around, the cream corn, roasted Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes. Everything was hot and delicious. We had crab cake and shrimp deviled egg appetizers and they were good as well.
The desserts were not all that great, the red velvet and bread pudding, but overall great atmosphere, ambience and tasty dinner.

Gatsby’s was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waiter RJ did a wonderful job.

We had the bone-in rib-eye and it was superb as were the deep fried devil egg and cream spinach. The calamari was over done and accompanying the marinara sauce needed a boost. The broccoli was perfectly cooked but too garlicky for our taste.
