   Staff was very friendly! Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. The lemon drop was not sweet at all, but they brought us simple syrup to fix it to which the bartender came out and apologized and said she’d remake them for us. We were fine after the extra sweetness though so we thanked her for coming over. The food was good but not as hot as I’d like it to be when brought out. My asparagus was a little burnt but still edible. Our waiter was great. Can’t remember his name. He was an older gentleman. We were celebrating our birthdays and we got to choose any dessert on the menu. We got the cheesecake. It was delicious. Overall, we would return to this restaurant. The friendliness of the staff and the ambiance was top tier.

   My wife uses a walker and they had no facilities for her to get in! We left

   We do have a wheelchair/walker accessible entrance. If you are facing the front of the building, it is located to the left down a walkway path. We do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and hope that you try again in the future!

   The waitstaff and bartender were great. The food was mediocre, seeming to have less to do with the chef than it did with the food vendor. The afternoon was over 90 degrees and the restaurant itself was hot. All doors were open and not certain AC was working correctly or not. Hopefully, that can be corrected soon. I would try again simply due to the very pleasant staff.

   Tried Gates Grill for the first time since living in the area for years. Have always loved the scenic view of the valley and hoped this might be a place to enjoy a quality meal while enjoying the fantastic backdrop. While dining early on a Friday with not a lot of other diners, it seemed the wait staff was overwhelmed, although wanting to provide good service. The food was good but nothing special. Unfortunately, sat inside as it looked as though it could storm when we arrived. I suspect that if we had chosen to eat outside where we could take in the spectacular views better, this review would have been much more complimentary. Do yourself a favor and don’t dine inside!

   Worst steak meal in my 51 years of eating. The steak might have been boiled to death, it had no sear, was dark grey all the way through, and absolutely COATED in pepper. It was absolutely terrible. The chicken meal we ordered was equally bad. It was high school cafeteria-type bad. The staff were kind and courteous, but the chef should be bound and shackled and kept out of any kitchen, ever.

   Food was terrible. The restaurant also has a foul smell. Mix of moth balls and sewage. Highly disappointed after all the good reviews

    We had nice lunch with family group. Large portion size on our sandwiches and well presented.
