Based in the heart of Battersea on Lavender Hill, Gastronhome offers the finest French cuisine and wines served in a homely environment.

We propose a popular five course tasting menu with matching wines, as well as a la carte options. Gastronhome boasts, amongst other things, an open plan kitchen, large tables, comfortable seats, as well as a an open terrace for those who choose to be seated in the open air!

We had a delightful meal at gastronome, we went for the tasting menu and every course was very good. They have a good selection of wines, French of course

Excellent restaurant with stunning food, and a great wine list. The host and sommelier really knows his stuff, and is passionate and welcoming in equal and generous measure. It's well worth the drive or journey to get there, and although not cheap, it's great value for top quality and seasonal produce cooked to perfection We will be back.

This was my second visit to Gastronhome, and just as great as the first. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine list is excellent and was given very good advice on picking a suitable wine to match our meal. All in all, a fantastic dining experience. Will definitely be back for future visits.

What a wonderful find. We absolutely loved our 5- course chef’s menu for lunch. The dishes were exquisite and service charming. It’s a great shame they are planning closing.

We took the tasting menu and wine pairing, very surprised to see tomatoes and mozarella (paired with Rosé wine, not very exciting) or chicken and corn as part of a tasting menu. Extremely disapointing overall and pricing (similar to a central London restaurant) definitely not aligned to the culinary experiences we had. I read positive feedback on this place but left very disapointing, I would never come back again nor advise anybody to come, food and wines research are purely fake for a food amateur!

A nice place with good service. We had good starters (I had the quail which was excellent, my friend had the mackerel which was ok). However the mains were really poor. My rump of lamb was incredibly fatty - so much so that I had to ask for toothpicks. It was accompanied by very uninspiring vegetables. We were so disappointed that we decided not to stay for dessert, but to go elsewhere. The staff were unconcerned at this, not asking about our experience whatsoever. Really should do far better than this given their reputation.

The food was phenomenal, the service was brilliant and the team were so accommodating in changing their menu to make it fish/vegetarian/alcohol free. I would recommend this gem to everyone I meet!
