   Gaia is a beautiful restaurant no doubt of that. Service was good. Not spectacular but good but for the price you expect spectacular. The main issue is there is no value here prices are beyond unreasonable a small vegetarian main which was rice and stuffed peppers was £38 the portion absolutely minuscule. We don’t have starters chose to share a chocolate dessert which was £12 and was just three pieces of tahini covered chocolate over chocolate rice balls in a small bowl. We had coffee and some water and two diet cokes. Cost £148 absolutely diabolical for a casual lunch. I am mortified I paid that much for a quick lunch that we both left hungry after. Would I go back absolutely not. Unless it was free.

   Food was 10/10 and we had amazing service also. I would say the tables are a little tight so you almost feel like you are sitting on top of the person next to you. But apart from that, the food was fantastic and would recommend to friends and family

   I have visited Gaia several times while in London. Today’s visit was a little different. The service was except the gemista- which I’ve had before- took a very long time and were extremely salty. Not sure what happened. Everything else was on point and excellent.

   Great quality produce and beautifully presented and cooked but shockingly expensive even for Mayfair. Plus asked for gratuity on top of service charges which is really annoying.

   Beautiful decor, attentive service and good quality food - all of which would be expected for the price. However - this was far too expensive even for Mayfair. As a party of 2, we had starters and mains, without Desert, and our bill came to over £360. Our mains were lamb dishes - we could not warrant paying the price of steak (£200 cheapest on the menu per person!) Also, whilst I understand a deposit system, also asking £80pp up front is unreasonable. However, as it was Valentines day, I did pay this to avoid disappointment. To make the price worse, the "Menu" link on their website does not work. However you can find a pdf of the menu from google. However - the prices are incorrect, with each main dish priced at around £10-£20 less than the actual in restaurant charge. We have been to other restaurants in Mayfair, had 3 courses and had bills of £200-£250, which I have gladly paid without question. Gaia - only go if you have money to burn. No food is worth the price they charge. The quality is good, but you can get equally good Greek food at traditional restaurants, and walk away £200 better off.
