Wow! Thursday dinner with live music was magical. The duck and sea bass were both winners and new front windows opening to the patio took the ambience to the next level! What a romantic and cool vibe! Viva La Frenchys Hideout!

This was not our first time at Frenchy's Hideout. That we came back is a testament to their excellent, personalized service and great food. The fish crudo, the steak/frites, fish, risotto, etc. Nice selection of wines too. The only thing I would change is having charcuterie (meats) with the after dinner cheese plate. In France, I have only ever seen meat served in that way when it is before dinner....never after. After dinner, I have seen cheese serviced with dried fruit or nuts or even preserves or something.

Everything was wonderful! The service was great, the owner, Mike, is oh so personable, warm and welcoming and charming and the ultimate host! We sat at the bar and our bartender was wonderful as well! We enjoyed mussels and pate, washing it down with delicious chardonnay, and then we shared the duck entree, delicious! The interior design is cozy and very inviting and well done. Overall, a very class act and we definitely will be back!

We loved it! Our server was fantastic as well as the owner. They made the experience really fun. From the French Onion soup to the Crudo, to the Beef Berguiginon, and the finale, pears, poached, and wine, it was an incredible dinner.

Michael & Paola are absolutely outstanding hosts/chef/front & back of the house! They are born and bred for this business. This restaurant has been on my SD bucket list since they opened about 3 months ago. Their menu is streamlined (that's a good thing) and so what they do, they do right! The steak frites were outstanding, as was the french onion soup. The ambiance is intimate but lively & friendly. The only thing I could possibly pick out (if I was being picky) was that the prices of wine by the glass are exceedingly high. That being said, the quality and breadth of varietals that they offer is excellent. I will most definitely be back and bring as many friends and family as possible to enjoy a truly wonderful dining experience. I am also eager to try their Prix Fixe menus, preferably on a wine pairing evening when they showcase one of their partners, complete with sommelier and more. Thank you to Michael & Paola for an unforgettable evening!

I had a fantastic time here! The food was great, and the service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner Michael came up to our table and made sure everything was to our liking. Those are the little things that make us want to come back .10/10.
