Excellent food, well advised by the chef, and professional service from the waiter. The restaurant would have well deserved a 5/5 rating. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was lacking. All the blinds were down, creating a confined ambiance that somewhat spoiled the overall experience. It's a shame because the quality of the cuisine and service deserved a better setting.

This was a repeat visit: food is very well prepared and imaginative. Chef Frederic is charming, hospitable and really knows his business. The food was excellent.

Freddie’s Kitchen is very unique. The restaurant is small with a true sense of intimacy, so small that the French-trained chef visits every table. The food is imaginative and beautifully presented. I highly recommend Freddie’s for anyone visiting Palm Springs. It’s a great venue for anything from a romantic dinner for two to a small party with family and friends. Memorable, tasty, an experience to savor.

If you know and love French food you will be so happy to dine here. We discovered it in accident. Delicious food, great selection, small and quaint, it was our anniversary. Chef comes to your table, very personable, Dustin our waiter was excellent.

At first, I wasn’t sure about this place, simply because it is a little bit hard to find, I had had a tough day, and there were very few people in the restaurant at the dinner hour. However, I have to say the food was pretty delicious ! The chef and the waiter were very kind and enthusiastic to recommend menu items, including the award-winning French onion soup. The soup is actually so divine. I ended up staying and ordering a mushroom strudel that was also very flaky and flavorful. If I came back, I would probably come with a large group just to fill up the place, but it was a nice experience for a solo diner on the road! If you are looking for a quiet spot that is attentive, but not overbearing then I do think this is for you.

My husband & I enjoyed everything we tried at Freddie’s. We each had a Mai Tai for our drinks. The drinks were even better then Hawaii. Chef Freddie came out to talk to us about the dishes. He is such a delight & so very approachable. My husband had the French Onion soup which he said was the best he ever had. I had the Wild Mushroom Strudel which was oh so flavorful. For our entrees we each tried one of the specials. My husband had the Boar & I had the Cod. Both were delicious. We were so full that we didn’t have room for dessert but we did take one home. Can’t wait to go back. Freddie’s is a must try. I highly recommend Freddie’s. All of the food & drinks are definitely made with love & passion.
