It is known for its authentic pizzas, pasta dishes and salads. Frank Pepe established his pizzeria with a product that was different from everyone else's. At the time, almost all pizzerias cooked pizzas in wood-fired ovens, but Frank opted for coal-fired ones. The crust is lighter, crispier, cooked more evenly and gets a nice, crispy edge around the outside. Because of the popularity of its food, Frank Pepe's Pizzeria Napoletana has expanded into a small franchise. The atmosphere in Frank Pepe's Pizzeria Napoletana is elegant but old world and is a great place to take a date, pick up a wonderful takeout dinner or to bring the family for a special night out.
