   I'm surprised this restaurant has such a high rating. Tried six different dishes and only one of them tasted interesting - it was a salad, ironically. Everything else was ok at best... not flavorful, boring, a bit too fatty. Food presentation was pretty good. Service was also good. Ambiance would be ok but a lot of tacky artwork on the walls.

   Most of the food was amazing. We had the four course meal and each dish was better than the last. Only one dish had a problem. The potatoes that were served with the steak were raw. They were thinly sliced and should have been easily cooked but they were completely underdone. Sadly, if our waiter had bothered to check on us even once we could have remedied this problem. He seated us and took our order for drinks and dinner. He came back once to ask if we wanted second drinks. We said no and we did not see him at our table again until he brought our check. I do not like a hovering waiter but this was a little ridiculous to the point of being rude. There is a lot of good food to be found in Colorado Springs and some of it comes with really nice, professional service. That was not our luck at Four by Brother Luck.

   Most of the food was very tasty and unique. The duck wasn’t our favorite—a bit gamey—but otherwise, most of it was pretty good. Some of the nude art creeped my wife out a bit.

   My wife and I had the four course meal with the wine pairing. The jalapeño poppers were incredible. The wine was good and the Berries and Cream were one of the best desserts we have had. The New York Strip was overcooked...I ordered medium rare and it was closer to Medium Well. My wife got the Pimento Chicken which was good, however the beans that were served with it were not very flavorable and honestly didn't seem to make sense with the meal. Overall a good, verging on excellent restaurant

    Came in for Mother's Day brunch. Left feeling fully satisfied. Wish I had an extra stomach. We got wasted on delicious food. I want to come here for my birthday dinner. Our server was the right blend of attentive and fun.

    We had a wonderful experience. The menu is inventive and well executed. The wine list is interesting and fairly priced. Our waitstaff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient without being intrusive. Overall, no misses.

    We went with great expectations, most of which were only slightly fulfilled. The menu is odd...while I appreciate the effort to steer patrons towards the "whole meal deal" of experiencing the four courses, for those of us who have never been able to plough through that much food, the options were difficult to navigate, and the server not much help at guiding us towards choices that would leave us satisfied but not over-stuffed. Truly excellent was the bisque, which was velvety and savoury and truly delicious. Less wonderful was the lamb chop, which was poorly trimmed with SO much wobbly unrendered/ uncrisped fat around the meaty nuggets that the plate sort of looked like a war zone by the time I was done. We lamb-lovers tend to embrace fat...it comes with the territory...but this was ridiculous. Service was inconsistent, including the arrival of our second plates while we were still enjoying the afore-mentioned delicious bisque. Skip the bread offerings, by the way...heavy and doughy.

    Food was super salty. Clams were not rinsed properly and were gritty. The scallops were over cooked to a rubber consistency. The fish was also over cooked. The poor waitress spilled water all over the table while filling our glasses and either he did not notice or decided to pretend it did not happened. Very disappointed that the price did not reflect on a good quality food experience.

    The food is outstanding. It is a natural fusion of flavors, techniques and traditions, I want to go there every season and discover what they have to offer.     I had high hopes. First I’d like to say the staff was amazing. No complaints on that end. Food wise was where I was disappointed. First ,they paired a sweet reisling with a fish dish and a duck curry. It was just odd. Sweet (and I mean sweet) wine with fish??? But where I really had a problem was with the ny strip. I’ve had this cut hundreds of times and it’s moist and tender. The cut I was served was dry and chewy. Like they put the steak in a dehydrator before cooking it. Sadly I’ve had better steak at a diner. The waiter noticed we didn’t eat the steak and took it off the bill, but I still was perplexed on how they took a decent cut of meat and completely ruined it. Overall the meal was decent and priced right but I wouldn’t go back.

    Generally, food and wine pairings ok. Chicken Pimento was somewhat pedestrian. Wife had the pork chop with enchilda sauce-She was a big fan. 1st course were delicious.2nd course black garlic pasta delicious. Lavender Creme Brulee hit it out of the park. offering a pinot with any food is a no brainer...need to improve on varietal pairings.

    The first course was definitely the best, but overall for the Easter brunch we were mostly disappointed. The food was only okay, with the exception of the desserts which were phenomenal. We have been here for dinner and been very impressed so we were a but sad that the quality wasn't up to the standard we had come to expect.

    Food was fair. We ordered the chorizo, the cheek, the nw York strip and the duck. Chorizo quality here in the US is not good in general, so we did not expect too much. However it was good. It was more like a chorizo sausage than a chorizo. But it is a problem within the raw material. Beef cheecks were good but there is an acid flavour within the whole dish that does not accompany the expectations. We did not liked the grits. Probably those were there as a garnish or to balance the flavor. In my opinion, those need a significant punch. Smashed potato would have worked better. In addition, the plate is served in a bowl. We did not get a spoon to eat. I believe a bowl is the wrong choice to serve this dish. Regarding the NY strip, good. The temperature a little bit over my choice. I ordered rare to medium rare more rare than medium rare. Meat cooking temperature was medium. The potato on the NY lacked seasoning. Also did the NY. The green asparagus were a little bit raw to my taste but I liked those a lot. Regarding the duck, good but not for that price. The duck was a little bit undercooked for me. However I understand it is commonly served like that here in the US. The garnish was good. The strawberry I believe does not need to be there. What killed me about the duck is the price. 36$ for the dish is not balanced. I know the chef rate needs to be there but there is no chef to see in a seared duck and a simple parsnip puree. Overall, I liked the place. The experience was good. We still need to go try the bass and a few desserts.

    My boyfriend and I both loved our experience here. We both had the 4-course meal and were able to taste 8 dishes in all - everything was delicious! Our server was attentive and very sweet. We had no issues with the meals or the service. We will definitely be back for other special occasions.
