Four by Brother Luck
Food was only ok. Not one dish out of nine that we would remember or go back for.
Very nice service.
Another great night and dinner. The food was awesome, so many choices, it is difficult to decide. Grabby provided excellent service, was very knowledgable about the menu as well as the wine pairings.
Steve took care of us and did an absolutely outstanding job. We had a show and only had an hour to complete our four course dinner and Steve made it happen. I cannot recommend Four enough, if you have gone you must. Brother has done an amazing job, great food, great service and a great atmosphere.
Everything was super hot - spicy. My husband hated his entree. I was disappointed in mine. Dessert was fantastic.
Great birthday celebration with fabulous food and great service! Everyone loved their choices and sharing since everything sounded so good. The Boar was unbelievable!
excellent service and excellent food. Bit pricey but well worth it.
The food and service was a great experience. Our waitress Katelynn was a delight her knowledge about the Food and Wines was amazing, she made our evening very special.
Ursula and Chuck
My main course was excellent. The rest was ok.
Everything we had was great. Only complaint was too much sauce on the lamb. The cumin overwhelmed the lamb chop. Everything else was perfect. The wine pairing was outstanding.
Food was amazing. Location really discreet & well thought out. Staff was friendly. Will go back. Cocktails are overpriced.
We loved this restaurant. Great vibe and great location the concept was fun and the food was interesting. It was pricey, but worth it for the most part. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars for the food was because I ordered beef tenderloin medium rare and it came medium well, at best. Close to well done. For that price, they should be able to cook a steak. But the food was still phenomenal and we would go back.
Staff was friendly and informative and food was amazing
Everything here is delicious! I love the convenience of a tasting menu, complete with wine pairings! The selections were so excellent, I can't wait to go back and try another menu!
Four is still my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs, the Bacon Jam Burger and the Jalapeno Poppers were on point as usual. Tried a couple new things, which were nice. But I'm not sure if the recipe changed or someone new made the Chicken Waffle Wings because they literally burnt my lips and my girlfriend's lips. I've ordered them three times before this and they were never like that. The sauce is usually sweet with a bit of spice, but these were just coated in heat. I had to go to the bathroom after one wing to tend to my running sinuses. Made me look like I was wearing lipstick. Had to get the rest to go. Otherwise things were good, just waiting for the new menu to come in and might swing by for dinner sometime soon.
The food here is amazing! You will have a high quality meal. The service was awesome also.
Post wedding dinner
4 course meal overall was good, the app and entrees stood out. Jalapeno poppers, empanadas, steak and duck. The desert wasnt the strong point of the meal, was a wildflower cake.... it needed help... it was cold and tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for too long, whiskey caramel cake was better
Everyone at our table loved three out of their four courses. That's very good! I thought the oxtail flavors were a bit murky, one diner found the lamb under done and a bit tough for not having a sharp knife, one thought the asparagus salad was a bit spicier than it needed to be. We all found the service friendly, knowledgeable, but lacking. We were clearly there to have an evening, but even with that it was slow. Several of the courses were placed in front of the wrong person -- it would have been easier to just ask who had what instead of guessing. The after dinner drinks while ordered with dessert came long after the plates were cleared. I loved the corn bread, the duck entree, and wildflower cake, the fresh oysters and charcuterie board were very good. One diner really enjoyed the hog and truffles, and the fava bean ravioli got raves. So, the food is better than the service, and the service is pretty good.
Celebrated Father’s Day a weekend lad but had a wonderful experience.
We have been to Four by Brother Luck on 4 occasions, and the food varies a lot. Love the rotating menu, and the creativity of the dishes. The last time we went, it was one of the best meals we have had. This past weekend, the food was just good, not outstanding. The flavor combinations were not as unique as usual, and the flavors were not as rich as I would have expected. For example, we have had the blue cornbread in the past and it was amazing. During this last experience, it seemed to lack flavor and was boring. Overall, I'll be back, because when it is good, it is REALLY good
The food portion was like a sample size
The food here is great but I will say 6 out of 8 entrees are fantastic, two are okay. But you have many selections and can go the easy route and choose a quadrant on the menu or mix and match and the staff is very helpful with mixing and matching. Service here is fantastic, you're treated like you would be if you were some VIP at the Broadmoor but it's a casual atmosphere. My wife and I will go for a nice dinner every few months, it can be pricey but we have also enjoyed wine tasting dinners and New Year's Eve here and have never had a bad time.
I like this place and its unique food pairings. It is a lot of food if one orders the four courses; and it is relatively pricey if one orders a la carte. I would say to have a big appetite when going here.
This is clearly an excellent restaurant that was just a little off during our visit. The server got distracted so another one finally stepped in to get our drink order. My steak was over cooked, so I ended up having to get another. Peanuts weren’t listed on the menu in one of the desserts, so we had to send it back when the server described it due to my allergy. Negatives out of the way, we enjoyed the concept and the food once it was right. Their jalapeño poppers were light and incredible. My wife loved her fish. I fully expect to try Four again when we visit Colorado Springs next and I fully expect to be able to rate most of the categories at the 5-star level.
The service was great and the food for the most part was really good.
My husband and I finally made it to Four by Brother Luck. It was an amazing experience from the delicious food to the detailed descriptions of the food and wine pairing. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they provide there. We enjoyed the 4 course meals that we customized from the many options available and we let the wine connoisseur choose all the wine pairings (that was served with each course) They were all spot on and complimented the food perfectly. Highly recommend! This will be our ‘go to’ Anniversary celebration restaurant for sure.
A perfect evening. Perfect food pairings. Perfect wine pairings. And exceptional service by the wait staff and sommelier.
Great food, great time--we really felt welcome. Almost every dish was OMG delicious. Lamb a bit overdone but still tender and flavorful. One starter had us a little confused. Pork, salmon, soups, desserts and cocktails all outstanding. Service was friendly and perfect in every way. We wanted to return immediately.
This is our second time there. First time was wonderful! Second time service was very poor. Brought us the wrong bottle of wine twice. And everything was slow.
The food was amazing and we particularly enjoyed having our waiter provide a description of the food with each course.
We have been fans of Chef Luck for a number of years. It was great to finally get to try his dishes. It's fun to root for him, but it was even better to eat the food.
My favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs. Great food. Amazing service.
Executive Chef is trying too hard to make experimental food, and not executing. Too many ingredients per dish, and over-seasoned, like steak which is very (over) spicy. Music played is techno. Not a fit for most diners for a high-end menu/venue. Music can be upbeat and modern, but please save the techno for the nightclubs. Interior color scheme was awful: white, red, and blues. Need an interior designer. Artwork was inconsistant and odd. Lighting aroound top of bar was floresent and glaring. Servers are knowledgeble and polite. Food has good potential. But design, menu, and music need major reconsideration.
I went to celebrate my 40th birthday and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. The food was Amazing and so was the service
Unbearably noisy. No accoustical modifications to large room with hard surfaces. When booming music came on we left. If you go, don't expect to be able to have conversation with table mates. Very ordinary ambience.
2d time...Great food, great sevice!
Will be back again...cant wait!
Incredible food, great service. We loved this place and will be back!
Really disappointed. Place was empty on a Friday night. Food was sub par and didn't follow theme.
Our third time at Four, and it's great every time. You cannot beat Steve, the sommelier, for his knowledge of pairing and his careful explanation of the reasons for his choices. The food is always excellent, and always interesting -- even cunning -- in the way the flavors are mixed. Don't hesitate, just go!
