Food was excellent. Going in I was a little concerned that the 'southwestern' influence might mean too much chile flavor but that turned out to be minimal. Ambience was not vey impressive-- about the same or a bit less than an Applebees. For a supposed business casual or smart casual dress code-- too many other patrons in jeans, t-shirts and backwards ball caps and extra loud voices.
Best place to eat in Colorado Springs!!
Forest was our server and was fantastic. He walked us through the tasting menu and made the night a truly great experience. One of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had all around. The dishes were unique and yet not intimidating, balanced, full flavored, and exciting. The cocktail and wine list is great and can’t wait to go back again!
Great food! Very detailed and prepped to perfection. Loved the 4 course and how they delivered it.
Superb food with incredible service.
Food was amazing. Staff was also great. It’s a bit pricey but worth the experience.
The best, most interesting, so smartly put together meal I’ve had in ages! We had the four courses with the wine pairing. The very best course- and they were all exceptional, was the Spanish octopus course: crispy quinoa, creamy avocado and the octopus was over the top good-a small layer of fat, cooked perfectly with a hint of smokiness. This was exceptional. The main courses were large- I had four lamb chops and hubby had the New York. Both cooked perfectly to medium rare. The lamb chops sat on a bed of tzeki like sauce and farrow… I want to eat more farrow after this-Brother Luck turned me on to this grain. It was chewy and held the sauce so well- loved it! I could comment on each course- rare elk strewn with edible flowers- fat chunks of smoked trout with caviar garnish- but there’s so much we didn’t try that is likely as exceptional as our meal. We are so happy to have found this lovely place here in the Springs that is so unique.
My husband and I went here for the first time for his birthday and our anniversary. No special comgrats nothing. Too bad been to high end resturaunts where the chef writes congrats or has even come out and talk to us. Food was good service was ok.
Nothing special. The salad was horrible (if you can call it a salad) It resembled
The wait staff was very accommodating when a drink was filled at our table and brought us a new one, which I thought was very nice of them to do. There are a few things that I gave them three stars for, the tables outside had not been cleaned off properly. There were no cocktail napkins. However, we had a late lunch of oysters that were outstanding. And the jalapeño poppers were fantastic.
Second time eating at 4. The menu is so hard to chose from and the food is out of the world. We got there early but they let us do the 4 course meals anyways since my wife has a crazy schedule. Brother Luck has quite the team there!
The service is awesome. The food is unmatched. We will continue to eat there for special occasions. We love it.
Our experience was wonderful. The food and wine was incredible and the staff is always very helpful and full of knowledge on all the different options as well as pairings. Brother is so nice and always stops by to visit with guests. Thanks for setting the standard for fine dining in Colorado Springs.
We did the $60 / person four course menu (a better value than à la carte). The choices are small, but the preparation, presentation, and symphony of tastes was fabulous.
Best restaurant in town hands down!
Our dinner last night was absolutely incredible and the staff was wonderful. Dave & Forest really made the experience special. They were warm, knowledgeable and really made dining out again a joy! Can’t recommend Brother & his team enough.
Poetry in motion. The dance between the wine and food pairings was expertly coordinated by our server, Forest.
Our meal at Brother Luck will go down as an epic and 4 volume sonata.
To live well. Eat and drink here.
Food was great service was excellent
Will dine their again
Four was amazing!!! The food was incredible. My husband and I went for our anniversary and I don’t think we could have chosen a better place!
Most excellent service. Portions are small, though.
The service was good and the staff were nice. The restaurant was not very appealing and unfortunately the food wasn’t great. Came here hoping to get a top chef experience and it was sadly well below expectations. Hope all the best for Brother in the future and that he can turn it around.
Great value for a four course menu. Each course was unique and the flavors blended beautifully. This is a true Colorado Springs gem. Relax and enjoy.
Very excellent experience! Our party ordered different dishes during each course so we could sample more of them. Definitely glad we did. All the different dishes are very creative and enjoyable.
This was a fantastic place to eat at. We order the 4 course meal and the food was amazing and offered a wide variety of choices.
I had the burger and fries. It was too much food.
The food and service is always wonderful.
Excellent food preparation
Thoughtful efficient service
The tasting menu and wine pairings were great. Highly recommend
Fantastic!!! We loved every course and Steve the waiter was awesome.
Dinner @fourbyluck It was freezing in the restaurant - asked the temp to be turned up. Definitely was better after a few minutes. The table we were sat at was a split table for 2 each. Which was odd in a booth for 4. The space has high ceilings and noise level is high. The lighting is cool. Bread service starts the meal - bread is served cold with butter. Got some hot tea which was so nice the cup was warmed. We chose not to do the 4 course tasting as we don't eat dessert. Started with the elk carpaccio and I can't say enough good things about this. Chef Michael Noll presented at our table. Was Gorgeous to look at and melts in your mouth. Purple potato gnocchi - on par with others I've had. The ribeye was cooked perfect as well as the duck. The ancho on the ribeye just really over powered any other flavors on the plate. The Moshin rose of Pinot Noir was lovely.
Maybe our best meal ever at 4BBL. Just incomparable in every way!!
Always Yummy! Tried a new dish and Loved it. Can’t wait for the next time!
Amazing food! Service was just ok at a high top table.
We went for a graduation dinner. Excellent food. The waiter did mess up the order a bit but worked to correct it.
Small portions, but not tapas sized. Just not worth the price.
Had Elk Carpaccio and the Duck breast. The elk was interesting but all you taste is the strawberries and aioli (spring menu). Duck breast was pretty good but literally 2 smashed Brussels came w it. Was not impressed especially for price.
Ambiance- quaint and doesn't match w the coat of everything. Bar is center of room. W cheap chairs. Whole place needs a redo.
Let me first say that service was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Food and drinks came out quickly. Unfortunately, the food is where our experience dwindled. Dishes appeared to be overly complicated without the ingredients complimenting each other. Desserts were a complete miss. The meal was expensive for the quality of cuisine you received. I was really looking forward to something better. Sorry for the bad review, but I believe an honest review is better.
Good food they were just understaffed.
Boy! Where do I start...we had a reservation for lunch on a Saturday, we arrived on time, we were seated, placed a drink order and ordered the deep fried cheese curds. All was good, waited on cheese curds, chatted with our waitress, ordered another drink, finally after 20 mins or so we reminded her about the cheese curds, she said, they were just plating them. She went off to serve drinks to another party because the only other waitress working was not old enough to serve alcohol. She disappeared we never saw her again, it is now 50 mins after we arrived, no cheese curds or even a chance to order lunch! We saw the chef walking around the restaurant, we waved him over, told him what was going on, he looked at us and had the audacity to ask us if we were sure we didn’t get our food, my husband said, you didn’t just ask me that! He could see that our plates were clean and that we hadn’t even unrolled our napkin and silverware. I told him this unacceptable and that we had been to bother Lucks other restaurant several times and it was awesome all the way around! He just kept saying well....that’s unfortunate! We threw some cash on the table and walked out!
The food here is amazing. It is NOT your everyday restaurant. Dining here is an experience.
Enjoyed the 4 course Spring dinner especially the jalapeño poppers and albondigas. Blown away by the candy bar dessert.
