Glad we went back. Our last experience wasn't great. Restaurant was filled with a big group and we had crummy service. This was like previous visits. Food and service were excellent. I had their dinner special of scallops on a bed of linguini with field mushrooms. My wife had salmon. We were both very happy with our meals. Nice to have it cooler so we could enjoy dinner on the patio.

My only real fault was the length of time from ordering food to the delivery of the food. My wife like her Tacos and I like the beef stroganoff. I wanted to get the burnt ends of the pork BBQ but they were sold out. Overall, we were in and out in 1-1/2 hours so timing wasn't too bad

We decided to go to Fortunes Friday night and they accommodated us without too much notice. We just wanted “ small” dinners and good wine & drinks! Perfect choice! The burnt pieces brisket for my husband and for me, the wedge salad with the shrimp. Each plate was presented so clever .. the brisket was piled high on one end of a rectangles plate, corn bread in the middle and coleslaw! The salad was fresh generously plated and the shrimp plump and great with the other condiments! It was another great experience!

The food was very good--romaine wedge salad, fennel pizza, and meatballs. However, it was overpriced--$16 for the salad, $27 for a small pizza and $21 for three meatballs. Also they charge a 4% service charge. Including two drinks our bill was $110 before tip.

Nice menu not too extensive. Wait staff mentioned the owner creates soups en mass. Didn’t see but 1 or 2 soups. Nevertheless, cocktails were inconsistent but pizzas were delicious! After we were seated at table did we find out that HH was relegated to high tops. We were allowed though to order the HH cocktails/apps. A great place to meet up with friends.

There were 4 of us and we decided to each order different entrees and a few different appetizer. They were all fantastic. We all especially loved the Creole Shrimp! The Expresso Martini and Whiskey Sour were great cocktails. The restaurant was busy for the holiday weekend but the staff managed to keep up and was very attentive to our table! We will be back!

Our party of three enjoyed our dinner immensely. I had the Creole shrimp from the starter menu for my entree with pasta. It was delicious. The others had the sausage rigatoni and the braised short ribs and raved about the taste. The service was friendly but professional. We will return again to enjoy the outdoor patio.

We had received several emails about the Tuesday night chicken dinner, so we tried it. It was fabulous, as we have seen with all meals here. Maybe...a bit pricey at $36, but we made two meals out of as you get plenty of food and it was finger lickin' good. We always get great service and the bar menu was also outstanding with one of the featured drinks making its way to our table. We'll be back.

I ordered a ceasar salad and added salmon at an extra charge. The salad was drenched in dressing. When I told the server I couldn't eat it she checked with her supervisor who said he would give me a "discount". In my opinion he should have deleted the entire charge for the salad. But he did not. I was ok with paying for the salmon. I will not be returning to this restaurant no will I recommend it to anyone. We were a party of four with 3 of 4 meals were sub par. Not very good odds.

Service was not as good as usual. One party in our group had to send his steak back that was cooked well done as opposed to the medium rare he ordered, but a new steak was brought to him. Only bad thing was the rest of the party was almost finished by the time he got his dinner. Fortun's is always one of our favorite spots to dine.

We ate outside on a high top table. Had fig and margarita pizzas and warm spinach with bacon salads. All 4 of us loved our meal. Hadn’t been in awhile but seems much better menu and really enjoyed our evening. Service was great!

The special was Chicken Pot Pie. It sounded marvelous. However, on its arrival, I realized that while this may have filled the appetite of my wife, it came no where close to filling my appetite or that of any man. In the future, maybe clearly explain how small an entre your special is. In our case, I was forced to go home and find more to eat.

Our waiter forgot to bring our entree’s. Folks who sat down after us were leaving after completing their dinners while we were still waiting for our entree’s. When the pizza arrived it was luke warm as well as the beef dip sandwich. We didn’t complain for by that time, we were so annoyed at the service, we just wanted to leave. The waiter never bothered to apologize. If we weren’t with acquaintances, I would have asked for the manager. My husband and I are regular customers. I have never experienced such poor service nor food that wasn’t delivered at the correct temperature. It was very disappointing!

I would give Fortun’s a 10 Star review if I could. We have been several times this Season and the food, service and atmosphere never disappoints. I usually get one of the Specials and last nights was another hit out of the park. The King Crab and Prawns pasta was memorable. I wish they could call me when its on the menu next time- so I could enjoy it again! All four of us enjoyed our meals and the great service! Bravo, compliments to the Chef and Management for such a wonderful resturaunt!

We dine here a lot. All dinners were good except I asked that my swordfish not be cooked well done. It came overcooked and when I told the waiter he didn’t offer to take it back. Have had the swordfish there many times, this was the only time it was overbooked.

Fortun's food is quite good, short of exceptional. Service was excellent. We sat at an "inside hightop" which is aking to eating on barstools at your own table. The menu is varied and can be described as typical American. Sandwiches and burgers are available.

We like to come around 5pm and sit outside on the patio. We start with drinks and a appetizer. We split a salad and ordered our main course and wine a bit before we finished our salad. We also ordered dessert to go. Our waiter Rodrigo was on point. The food and wine was delicious.
