We celebrated Valentines Day at Forks and Corks and we’re not disappointed! The restaurant came highly recommended and I can see why. It is just the right mix of hip upscale casual atmosphere and current cuisine. This was our first visit but it won’t be our last!.
Great dinner. Will go again.
There is a disconnect between opentable and Forks and Corks. I scheduled a reservation, Six days later I received an email from opentable that Forks and Corks does not participate with open table and my reservation would not be honored. Called Forks and Corks and they said we have your reservation. I’m not sure what’s going on, but restaurant was outstanding.
Always s nice place for dinner. Great ambiance.
Overall a good experience. Service was great but food was little over priced for the lack of flavor.
Service was exceptional as was the food. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
Great wine list.
We really enjoyed the experience. The food was very well prepared. Nice atmosphere.
My husband and I went for a date night with 2 other couples. The specialty drinks were delicious, the waitress was very attentive and knowledgable of the menu. We had two guests that can't eat seafood and the menu had options for everyone. We had 4 of the appetizers and they were all delicious! I will likely crave the pickled shrimp. I had the redfish and it was outstanding! The atmosphere is clean and modern. The restaurant was great for a group or a romantic dinner for two. I highly recommend Forks and Corks.
This was the perfect meal. Highly recommend
Forks and Corks has a friendly staff. Their Sunday Brunch menu contained very innovative recipes. Each member of our party of four enjoyed their dish. It was a positive and delicious way to spend a rainy Sunday morning during the Christmas season.
I plan to return to this restaurant on my next trip to Covington.
We had a wonderful dinner with friends and family. The holiday ambiance was perfect, service spot on, and the meals were perfect. Would highly recommend Forks & Corks.
The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We had brunch and the menu had great things to chose from at a reasonable price. Everything we ate as a group of 5 was very tasty. The service was very accommodating and helpful. The brunch menu included a few lunch items for those of us who didn't want to eat breakfast food. Overall a great experience and great food!
Good appetizer and wine list. Veal was cooked with old grease same with the onion rings served with the meatloaf. My date felt the meatloaf had way too much BBQ sauce put on it. We did enjoy the appetizers and wine but left before dessert disappointed from our entrees.
Service was outstanding & the meals could not have been better. Beautiful view & a perfect rainy day spot to relax & enjoy an outstanding meal. Enjoyed the spinach salad with citrus dressing & added grilled shrimp. The pear tart dessert is fabulous
Sunday Brunch for a small group
Forks and Corks nicely accommodated our small group of 7 including persons requiring GF dishes. Our waiter Johnny took care of our of requests and needs and the kitchen prepared everything perfectly. We enjoyed appetizers of deviled eggs and our entrees included the Red Fish, Veal and Grits, Salmon and Eggs -- all cooked to perfection and they brought out everything at once and it was hot - good job kitchen!
The desserts we enjoyed were bread pudding, creme brulet and flourless torte. We were all pleased with the flavors, creative mix of the dishes and the service.
Our server, Brittany, was rude and unattentive during Sunday brunch. So rude we are considering canceling an upcoming brunch reservation. We’ve never had this problem at Forks & Corks and the food was great as always. Took over 15 minutes for her to come take our order after bringing us our drinks, we had to flag her down for everything... more water, another round of drinks. When someone at our table ordered an appetizer by saying, “Can we get an order of the Deviled Eggs for an appetizer?” She looked up from her pad and said, “Can you????” I refrained from telling her we were not there for a grammar lesson, just bring the lady the deviled eggs. Brittany did not ask if we were ready for our check, she just brought it. We wanted to order something else but at that point did not want more interaction with her. After taking our cards, she never returned to the table. The table behind us said, your waitress is rude! The manager had his face in his phone at the bar so we just left. Our entire party was disappointed with the experience and the 2 first timers said they would never return because of the service.
We go often and I am baffled...why is this place not packed? Let’s face it the north shore is not known for haute cuisine. This is a very good (not a chain yeah!) restaurant. Maybe I should be glad, I can always get reservations.
Excellent food, great meatloaf, winner redfish and super Old Fashion. Unfortunately service was quite slow and we had a long delay on our wine and then our tab was wrong. Perhaps a new server, but did not seem to have anyone supervising. Would still go back and give them another try.
Went for my wife’s birthday and had a blast. The food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. The bartender was super friendly and the service was great. We have been looking for a nice place to happy hour and this might be our new spot.
We really enjoyed the evening. Food and service was very good. Cocktails were excellent!
Best fried chicken ever.
Great brunch as always
The Sunday Brunch is always special. The staff, Caroline - and all the servers - are very attentive. Forks & Corks is a nice place for any lunch or dinner occasion. Thank You F&C for always good food and great service.
My wife and I went to Corks and Forks for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, food and service were all excellent. We had a particularly great start at the bar with the bartenders who were a LOT of fun. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
My only comment would be that it was difficult to find. Signage on the main road was hard to read and we almost missed it. Worth searching out, however.
It was a beautiful cool day & we sat outside. Our server was friendly, attentive & accomodating. Food was delicious!. It was a great atmosphere.
They are very accommodating for guest with Celiacs disease . The best customer service around!
Food was delicious, staff was so friendly, would definitely go back!
Our waitress was perfect ! The food fantastic best fish I have had in years nothing off !
The whole experience was wonderful....from driving into Terrabella, pulling up to Forks and Corks, to the atmosphere, service and food. I can’t wait to go back!
Service was fine, atmosphere fine, food fine, but for god sake get some better silverware. I truly bent my fork with very little effort. It bugged during the whole meal. I'll go back, but I'll give them time to see if they replace the utensils.
Creative with excellent seafood options, variety of soups and appetizers, excellent wine list and nice bar area. Truely a neighborhood gem and a great little place to go for a date night and enjoy a stroll around the park and fountain. Just like being at the beach or in a nice little village somewhere!
My wife and I have dined here several times. We are always warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to a table of our choice. The quality of the food and beverages is exceptional, and the service is always attentive. Last time we were here there was a large party of adolescents in the main dining area, and the noise level was uncomfortable. This time it was all adults, and the noise level was moderate and normal. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Covington. Cheers!
Very disappointed. Calamari Appetizer cold. Sent back. Ordered chicken Caesar got shrimp Caesar. Cosmo cocktail was barely 3oz. Not even half the glass was full. Unfortunately we won’t go back. Was not an $90 meal
I took my wife here for her Birthday. We had been before in early spring for my sons wedding party. Everything was fantastic.
This our second time here and it was not good. The Chicken andouille gumbo with potatoe salad was way to thick and barely warm. My wife ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf with baked macaroni and a vegetable. The whole plate was like warm at best.
I had the Wiener schnitzel ( which must be a signature dish) with macaroni and spaghetti squash. The schnitzel was very salty and the macaroni was dried up to the point of not edible. The spaghetti squash was not even warm.
The bread pudding for dessert was also not hot.
Was very disappointed and most likely will not return. Not will I continue to recommend it to anyone.
My husband and I went for Sunday Brunch. I don't know which was better, the food or the service!
Wonderful little jem in Terra Bella!
The food was excellent!
An outstanding place to eat. Love it.
We had a great dinner at Forks and Corks. Great food, great wine, great service. They were very accommodating to a member of our party with food intolerances. Hope to visit on a regular basis.
After loving Pardos we felt that we needed to try Forks and Corks. Located in the quasi step ford wives village of terra Bella, we went fir brunch. The server gave us the first of her four I’m so sorry for the long wait sayings. We had a reservation and there were tables available but they had to clear a really long wooden table with no cloth to seat us ( did we look poor? Ha! ) and then we waited, and waited, and finally got the server to apologize and take our drink order. Done. We ordered food at same time as we had plenty of time to peruse the menu until then. The drinks took an inordinate amount of time but were good upon arrival when , POW the food arrives. I’m not sure my grits hadn’t been pre plated as they had a crusted dried coat on top but the grillades abs grits weee passable, kind of Copland’s quality. My guest had the shrimp
Clemenceau. It was more like soup and the shrimp hadn’t been cleaned or de veined. It was again not bad just very mediocre.
The best part of the meal was the honey butter and biscuits but they were cold not hot so butter wouldn’t melt.
I’d say passable mediocre but fine fir an unsophisticated palate.
Went to Forks & Corks for my bridal luncheon. Perfect venue for the occasion. Ordered straight from the menu & everything was delicious! We will all be back very soon!
PS the Seafood Fondue is to die for!
