Ok food and service. Was expecting more for the price payed.
Everything was great, as usual. Food was excellent. Unfortunately, we had not been visited by our main server for nearly 30 minutes, but saw him active in other parts of the restaurant. He didn’t ask if we were celebrating anything special, so didn’t have a chance to tell him we were both celebrating our birthdays. Usually, then they offer a complimentary dessert. We did sit for quite some time (at least 15 minutes) without anyone coming to the table, so we felt a little neglected. Finally, another team member cleared our plates and brought the bill. Will go back, of course, but we usually only go when it is a special occasion due to it being a little pricier.
The table next to us had some regulars so we never got any service. Asked for more water and chicken service that never came. Most of the meats that we were served were very over salted.
Food was good , service was above average, very crowded.
Hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and it was a fantastic experience for our family and friends (for most it was their first time!). Thanks so much for helping make our wedding weekend special 😊
Great service and outstanding food!
We went for an early dinner on a Monday. We arrived at 5pm and the super fresh buffet was already stocked and ready to go, there were only a few dinners in the restaurant and bar so it was nice and quiet and there were multiple people stopping by our table asking if we need anything or wanted to sample things from shrimp to cheese to specialty drinks. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and we had the best old fashioned that we've ever had! Wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary!!
The service was really bad, no attention to important details. Drinks that arrived later than the food, desserts with no spoon to enjoy them, just two examples. The previous night we went to the Oceanaire Restaurant, for a similar value in the check you can get a high quality service.
Fogo de Chão used to be nicer, we are not going there anymore.
I don’t know it felt like they were shortstaffed and our meat selections weren’t all there that they provided on the menu for us overall I mean I just feel that with me paying that amount of money I didn’t get the service or the quality of food that I wanted I had to call asked four times and wait 20 minutes for our side which is ridiculous
LE FALTAN ENTRADAS, ESA SECCION ESTA MUY LIMITADA Y PRACTICAMENTE NO HAY ENTRADAS CALIENTES, LOS POSTRES MUY RICOS.
We were forgotten a couple of times and the wait staff seemed confused about who was taking care of us. Restaurant was very loud. Food was ok. Don’t get the seafood.
It’s always a great experience and different atmosphere than typical dining. It’s fun to have the various meats paraded around to table side and cut fresh in front of your eyes.
Great deal for restaurants month as it was extended. We were behind a wall which decreased how loud the restaurant actually was which I loved. Everything was delicious and our waiter never let our water go pass half empty.
Very expensive for what is received. we were going to get the airport quality of meats were very good and service was excellent but felt that it was overpriced
We went for our daughter’s birthday and Paige,Patricio and Aaron were amazing! Paige went one step further when she noticed our son wasn’t eating and came to the table asking if he would want some french fries. Shortly after she came out with a whole plate of french fries that were amazing and he enjoyed.
This place is amazing. For sure a must visit. Thank you for helping making our daughters day one to remember.
For someone who doesn’t eat a lot I thought it was expensive. There should be a option for people that don’t eat a lot. $50-$60 a person for a small amount is steep.
The food was decent. The cuts of meat were good, however, they definitely did not live up to the price. Not to mention, the salad bar food was also underwhelming for what we paid. We had the $55 per person experience. When we sat down a waiter said that we would come back and explain how everything worked. We also wanted to know what the “Restaurant Month” option was but he never came back and people just started putting food in front of us without us ever getting an explanation as to how things work. We had also had an issue with whomever the customer experience manager was at the time. We had drinks at the bar, prior to being seated and we settled our checks at the bar. When we got our final bill for the meal, we noticed that those drinks from the bar were also on the bill, so we had asked them to be removed. When the manager, or I assume was the customer experience manager, came over he practically accused us of lying and said that the drinks needed to be paid. After he went back and talked to both bartenders he then realized that there was a communication break down and said we could go. The entire experience felt like a completely over priced buffet with poor customer service. I would have rather gone somewhere else and won’t be going back.
Most of the good was over cooked and only two types of beef one chicken one pork . For that price you won’t see me there again .
Fogo has definitely fallen from what it was in the past. Food was so-so but definitely nothing memorable. Service was absolutely terrible. Gauchos came by very infrequently and we had to ask (and wait and wait) for premium items. Something as simple as getting water took 15+ minutes. Don’t waste your time or money at Fogo.
I recommend this place all the time I love it best steak restaurant ever they have delicious popovers they have just really good food fresh food and the 1st time I made it to their brunch and it was amazing Only criticism I could make us maybe switch up some of the stuff on the salad bar a little bit once in a while they can have the same old stuff all the time there
Steaks were of very poor quality....sirloin which is the worst cut was offered b
Great ambiance. Only wish they would have come around with ribeye and filet more often. Great service
We always have great service at Fogo! Thank you to Mitch, Odair, Karina, Bella, Miguel, Brandon csr, Sierra, and Oscar (for making the delicious basil sauce thicker.) Thank you all for making a safe dining experience for my daughter with life threatening food allergies, and for making all of us feel welcome!
This was my first time. We brought friends in that are visiting from Scotland. We all had a great time!
AMAZING!!! Delicious food - Great service - had heard about this place for a while & they delivered!!
Great food, awful service, seems understaffed, don’t have their service under control
I saw the chicken come around 4 times. I only saw the ribeye once and it was overcooked. They offered the men at my table lamb chops and skipped over me even though my chip was green side up and we all paid for the full experience. The bathrooms were dirty and the dining experience was more in line with eating at a Golden Corral versus what I would expect for a $200.00 meal for two. Save your money and go where you can order the cut of meat you want, cooked to your liking because you won't see it here.
Love the food, hate the up-selling.
Hard to say if I would recommend. One thing is for sure... it's gone downhill over the last 15 years. Whereas it used to be spectacular and is still better than Rodizio, the selection at the Market Table has really diminished and is much less interesting. Meat was well seasoned and a bit overdone, but the whole thing has simply gone from special occasion to moderately fine dining. It is sad how good things always seem to deteriorate over time... guess it is a matter of growth and profit motive... there must be at least 30% more table in there then there use to be and that leads to more a feeling of being at McDonalds than fine dining.
Plenty of food, at first I was thinking this is really expensive but not for the amount of food.
Service was amazing it went great with everything I felt very important and food was amazing as well definitely look forward going back
Very Friendly and awesome service!!! Best restaurant downtown Minneapolis!!!!
Forgot the name of our waiter, but he was a smaller guy and was so quiet we could barely understand him And it was very loud. Only came to our table at the beginning and once after that. Another younger gentlemen and lady helped us more and were very helpful. Disappointed with the variety of food tho for the price we paid. It was the same 4-5 meats. Lamb, bacon wrapped filet, Parmesan chicken, top sirloin (only had once) and pork ribs. Where was just the regular pieces of filets that didn’t taste like bacon grease and brisket. Or hot mash potatoes (we were given 2 that were both cold) Other than that, the meat was tasty and hot.
Food was excellent. Atmosphere was great too. The second half of the meal (as we slowed eating) the staff basically disappeared. No one came by to take drink orders or refill water. Drink orders (when finally taken) were very slow to arrive.
I was in no rush, but the lack of attention by the staff was noticeable and noticed by my guests.
My daughter & I were at Fogo this past Sunday. We had amazing service from all staff but 3 employees were very outstanding. Miguel, Santiago & Madras Crusa. (Not sure of Madras spelling). They took time for us & went out of their way to make our experience amazing. The food was so very good & we will definitely be coming back.
Very loud, service slow and overpriced. Charging for refills of diet coke is not a good value.
The service was really good and every staff member matched the level of excellence!
Food was subpar compared to traditional Brazilian steakhouses and my Fogo de Chão experiences of 10 years ago. Pão de queijo was not authentic. Banana was actual banana and not plantain?? There was no yucca it was bizarrely polenta but at least that was tasty :). I found the salad bar was impressive and was glad they had farofa and vinaigarete with the rice and beans available, in addition to the vegetables which were great and the cured meats. They need to up their salad dressing game though and the asparagus were not trimmed on the bottom which made their stems hard and woody. I thought the meat was good and the service was excellent, everyone made us feel welcome and we loved that they had creme de papaia so not an entirely wasted experience. Would go back for the salad bar with lower expectations if there was a special deal. All in all, solid but not great.
I found it interesting that
Nikki was phenomenal!
