I took my mother out to Minneapolis and give the best experience possible. Fogo really helped in that respect with its ambience and Brazilian cuisine. She loved the quiet atmosphere and was happy with the whole experience. And if my mother was happy, so am I. Personally, the meats were to die for. I really loved their Top Sirloin and Parmesan Pork. I would recommend Fogo de Chao for that special person in your life.
We were blown away by the food. The rest of the experience was a little weird.
When discussing drinks with our server we told them my spouse was allergic to a specific drink and chose a different one. Later the drinks arrived and my spouse received the drink they were allergic to. Our server seemed to think my spouse had ordered both drinks. We found at the end of the night that wrong drink remained on our tab, too. Once dining for a while our server dropped by to see if we'd like our plates taken. I told our server I needed another minute and they took my plate anyway. Our server was absent for the remainder of the evening after this. A different server was rolling a drink cart past our table and knocked into my spouse. When this happened a squeeze bottle fell off the cart and a little of the contents sprayed onto my spouse when it hit the floor. The server was very apologetic and helped my spouse dab as much as they could off their clothing. Then when we were done dining we put up our napkins, pushed our plates aside, and waited quite a long time to order dessert and request the check.
We understand that it is a very difficult time right now and everyone is under more stress than ever. We were able to laugh a lot of it off and still have a very enjoyable time. Thank you to all the staff for a good night out.
I was disappointed with the level of service. For a bill over $300 you would expect to at least have waters within 20 minutes of being seated. On top of that, we barely even saw our waitress throughout the whole dinner. I am usually a fan of Fogo, but this experience left me not wanting to revisit.

We went for a pre-show, 2 year COVID delayed birthday celebration . The staff celebrated like it was really my birthday. The salad bar and meats were spectacular. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were well served on everything we wanted. The Crème Brûlée that I have come to know land love from Fogo was below their normal standards.

I just have one comment to make, and that is that not all the the service people stop at your table to offer meet.
One in particular that called my attention in my last two visits, that intentionally skipped our table both visits and every single time, he just walked by our table and go to the table next to us. “Every time”
I know him by face but do not know his name because they do not have name tags.

Yea, it was great! Better the first time, than it loses its cache the next few times but we will continue to go back. It is hard to eat that much meat though!
Always love this place. This time, Kyle and Shelby went above and beyond with my wife and I. I always like the servers here, so personable and fun. My water glass was never empty, and my wife’s requests were filled immediately every time she asked. Thank you so much Shelby and Kyle, you guys were fun and awesome and so on top of everything!!
Atmosphere was fairly loud, which was ok, but lots of unruly (drunk) Vikings fans after the last home game. The worst part was how the staff bringing around the skewers at times totally ignored our table despite us having "green" side up on coasters. They literally walked right by us when we were looking for more meat, and certain kinds of meat we hadn't tried. And at other times, there were no staff/skewers to be seen at all -- we waited over 15 minutes at one point before anyone walked by with a skewer of meat.

Fantastic food and service! However 1/2 of the restaurant was empty, but hosts kept seating people as close as possible in our portion of the dining room. Would have preferred social distancing.
I have been to Fogo and Fogo-like restaurants many times, and this one itself several times. Fogo de Chao - Minneapolis is a great dining experience, for their typical meal, for the "market table" only, or for the a la carte dining options as well.
The drinks are too expensive, however. I'd rather just drink tap water than a cocktail that costs $15 to $20 each.
1st time experience, very pleasant.
They have gone down in quality of food. The sides were cold, the meat was okay, could not get clean bowls for the soup, had to wait 10+ minutes and ask two different staff people. The waitress was EXCELLENT (only reason why it wasn’t a one star). I understand the difficult times we are going through, my dissatisfaction wasn’t related to wait times or staff abilities. It was the overall experience and quality of food was disappointing and the price is no longer worth it

Almost all the meat provided was extremely dry and overcooked. They'd even ask me how I'd like the meat done as if I had the option, but every piece they cut was well done and dry even though I'd say medium rare. I did specifically ask for a new piece of filet that was actually mid-rare and he brought me one which was very nice but it was medium, not medium rare. Maybe we caught the chefs on a bad night. Some of the cold bar options were good but the salads were soggy and mushy. It was very busy when we went and so loud it was hard to have a conversation. It also felt like we were rushed like they were trying to get us in and out. The servers were pretty attentive considering how busy it was. We heard good things about it so we gave it a whirl, also because I love steak and proteins in general, but it was so disappointing, especially when spending a lot of money on a dinner. We will definitely never go back.

The service was particularly good and much of the food was great. The pricing is a bit of a concern as there is value elsewhere for the same or better quality. I still recommend it!

Today was the absolute worst visit I’ve ever had to a restaurant ever. We waited a full 20 minutes to get water, we then watched as they walked by repeatedly with different cuts and types of meat and got nothing. Our waitress ignored us and a few other tables. When we did finally get served she called both my teenage daughter and my mother in law Sir. The crap service would be understandable but the staff to table ratio was 10/ person. As a former server myself I know hard it can be on busy holidays. The complementary shots they offered to us and other tables were charged to us $12.50 each. When we pointed it out we were told no that’s not true. Even after saying we wouldn’t return the waitress said okay who cares and laughed . This was after waiting for 45 minutes for the house special and another 35 for ribeye. $345.00 later and we left hungry. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not return and would advise against it to everyone I know. The horrible service and bad attitude was completely unacceptable.

Went for birthday and Christmas lunch. Did not get our food on time asked server several times not to send pork and to send well done meat only

Christmas Eve was great! Good and service was great while being very busy!
The gauchos came around consistently. Had to ask multiple times for sides (bread and potatoes). When sides were brought out, they brought one bread basket and one serving of potatoes for four adults. We ordered the Guarana Soda and it was served to the table next to us. Once they figured out it belonged to our table, they brought the poured sodas from the other table to our table. We had to ask for new ones and refused the served ones. We ordered a Wagyu steak. It took forever to get and was over cooked. They were busy and didn’t have time to check on us. It was my daughter’s birthday and we were told she would get a free dessert. That didn’t happen. They were too busy and never checked on us again.

The staff was very disorganized and lacked experience. We were seated and eating, then we were asked to move because they had made a mistake. Besides that we had 5-6 different waitresses/waiters who all promised to bring either drinks, bread or fresh plates non of which happened. This has been my only poor experience at Fogo de Chao but it has also been 10 years since my last visit.

December 24, I decided to booked for dinner omg what a disappointment. Our server was no where to be found. all time we always had to be requesting service from other’s waiters around. It was not that busy at our time. Also meats to come around taking a long time. Just a very disappointing experience and the ambiance for hostess totally rude, and just seem like little girls wanting to have fun and didn’t care much. For spending $490+ would definitely go to another place! Very disappointed

This an expensive restaurant, with great drinks and food. It's very busy and at time crowed, but a fun please and food for all.
Overall, our experience was average. On the positive side, the salad bar was very good and the service was excellent. I was very disappointed with the variety of meat offered, it was the sirloin and chicken leg show. There was no tenderloin, no ribeye, no lamb chops, no pork chop, no beef ribs, etc. Had our group of six known this prior to dining, we would have gone elsewhere.

The waiters were soliciting 5 star reviews on google. This was before we got the final bill and realized we had been charged an exorbitant amount of money for “holiday shots” that were being given out.

This was the first time back after a 2 year hiatus. We were delighted to see the service and food remain outstanding. One of the delights was the grilled/seared pineapple. It was so good that I asked our server, Mathias, to tell the pineapple bearers to come to our table when the next round was being offered. He was kind enough to bring a small plate of this treat to our table. Oustanding!
