    Everybody was working to make it a great experience, and it was great for a place that runs $30-$40 per plate. There were two types of meat that were worth $30 at an alacarte place. The rest were similar to a cut and prep that I would do with a decent Cub steak on my grill at home. It shouldn’t even be close. My girlfriend brought it up this AM. She mentioned that she thought the meat was going to be better, and that she prefers my grill at home instead. I was flattered, but it also made my feelings more relevant. If the bill was $100 instead of $220 we’d be back out of convenience and hope for better grub. However, at the price we paid, I’ll go to Texas Roadhouse or a wing joint instead.

    They did a very nice job today. My family is always excited to come to Fogo de Chao when we're in Minneapolis, and it never disappoints. The salad bar was well-stocked and we love the rotisserie pineapple. We will definitely be back.

    I online it said you were gonna have roasted turkey you had a turkey breast I don’t care for white meat. It would’ve been nice if you want clarified roasted turkey breast I would’ve never went there for that. I would’ve paid more to go somewhere else and actually had turkey . Was very disappointed will not be coming back there for Thanksgiving next year

    Very disappointed in the quality of the meat. Not tender or tasty with the exception of the lamb. The rest of the meat choices were not tender and unflavorful. Considering the expense, this was not a good experience.

    I had noted that we were celebrating a birthday when I made reservations. In the past this seems to have prompted some special recognition, maybe a free dessert. I was a little disappointed that no one asked if we were celebrating anything. For us, this is a special occasion kind of place. The table where we were seated was also in a bad spot and it felt very cramped. People walking by repeatedly bumped into my chair, even though I tried to position my chair as close to the table as possible. The food and service were good overall, but we spent $400 for 6 people. Somehow I expected a little more at that price point.

    The food was good, but we did not get much attention from the server who took over 20 minutes to deliver our drinks. The meat that we had was great, but visited our table infrequently, even after requesting certain items to be brought by, which left us frustrated.

    Our $150 waygu ribeye was overcooked and when we suggested it was we were told it was medium rare. The flavor was still good because of all the fat and marbling of the cut so we elected not to raise a fuss. Other than that the food and service were excellent.

    Totally wasted our evening. No point in making a reservation, since walk-ins were seated before us while we got to wait for over an hour past our reservation time. It didn't help that they were working off of multiple waitlists and multiple sets of pagers. Communication was all but nonexistent, and each employee gave differing time estimates and excuses. The lady who finally brought us to our table led us on a circuitous back-and-forth tour of the dining room before deciding on a table to seat us at. Once we were seated and turned our green discs up for meat service, the servers ignored us and walked right past us to serve all the other tables. After wasting two full hours on this and not even getting a single slice of meat, I got up and walked out. The server tried her best to help then, but by that point it was too little too late. Will never return.

    We had reservations for 8pm and did not get in until 9:45... my fiancee and I were celebrating our new engagement and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice supper. By the time we got in, there wasn't many different options for meat they were serving, and it was awkward sitting there and seeing their staff going home cause their shift was done. They overbooked and they knew that, but we still had to pay close to $200 for barely any food, bad service, and waiting a very long time to celebrate something so special to us.

    Made reservations online. Upon arrival, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait (again we had reservations). An hour later, and still no table. Staff didn’t seem to care. No one checked in to provide an update or apologize for the inconvenience. We’ve been coming here for 13 years and won’t be back. Food quality and service has gone down drastically within the last 5-6 years. It could be due to new management.

    We had a reservation for 7:45pm and didn’t get seated until about 8:40pm. The waiting area was packed. Once we were seated everything went incredibly well. The food was delicious and service was great!

    The service and food at Fogo de Chão is fantastic. The one thing I miss though is flan on the desert menu. CRÈME BRÛLÉE Is similar but not nearly as good and not as Brasileira as flan. I introduced the restaurant to a young college student who was a picky and unadventurous eater and he could not stop eating. We were there for three hours. I brought back for Veterans Day and he was ecstatic.

    Restaurant needs to better manage their customer flow on a Saturday night. Waiting 40 minutes for a table when we had a reservation and arrived on time is unacceptable. The restaurant was so packed we could hardly get to the salad bar. The noise was so loud I could not hear my table mates talk. Also, I could not hear the gauchos describe what meat they had - not even once. The service was good considering the volume of customers there and the challenges of moving around. But they had way too many people in the restaurant - it ruined what would otherwise be a great experience.

    We had a reservation for a special occasion and when we got there they were unable to seat us as they were overbooked. Host staff was rude and dismissive. We had to leave and have dinner at another place. Extremely disappointing. Will never go back.

    We went there to celebrate a huge professional achievement. We made a reservation ahead of time as we knew that they would be really busy on a Saturday night. We have been here before and it was amazing! Last night, not so much. We were seated at a table that was right next to the waiting line for the market buffet, which is also where the main walk way to the back seating area. Honestly, our table would have been more peaceful in the middle of I35 at rush hour. The wait staff would routinely walk around both sides of the our table because there was no room in the main walk aisle. The long line to the market buffet clogged the walkway. I lost count of the number of times our table was bumped due to this. The server came to take our drink order and never returned. We had to ask another server where our drinks were and order our entrees. We ordered the full experience at $66 a person. When the servers would come around with the different entrees, they would routinely walk right by us and not serve us even though our coins were in the open and clearly green side up. The limited food we did get was delicious and very good. The Market buffet, even though the line was long, was delicious and regularly replenished. When leaving, I asked to speak to a manager. I told him about the experience and how unsatisfied we were. He was gruff, unapologetic, and didn't offer correct the situation in any way. To add to the poor experience, the manager walked away while I was talking about the experience. We paid our bill, tipped the minimum 15% and left. I would not recommend this establishment. Service has fallen terribly and the manager seemingly doesn't care about customers experience.

    I have been to Fogo several times. This time was my only bad experience. I was never offered more than cheap cuts of beef. My waitress was non existent.

    Food was/always is fantastic! But the restaurant severely over booked - we waited 45min to get seated (we had a reservation @545), it took 30 min to get water/drinks, and 20 min to get our bill. Our servers were friendly, but hardly around. Very ROUGH when you have a toddler w/ you! Way too much waiting around. Will never go back on a Saturday night again. :(

    It’s obvious that they have created their model to fit as many people as possible, lines were incredibly long, crowded. I didn’t see or experience any Brazilian culture, very watered down. I will chose to continue to go to Bullvinos instead.

    Shrimp cocktail wasn’t good everything else was delicious salad bar line was annoying as the line wove around the tables and was disruptive, like sitting too near the bathrooms on a plane having strangers stand around your table

    After turning down numerous invitations I finally accepted 🥳 My very first visit in this town and I was very impressed with the ambiance and the welcoming atmosphere. I began my night alone and it didn’t last very long…so thankful to have met some nice folks to dine with made the night so much more enjoyable. From the red pepper flakes bacon which was described as “black pepper” to the “empanadas” that were served as sambosas; to the “melting” in my mouth Wagyu Ribeye I was in absolute foodie heaven and I regretted choosing my wines out of order. Thank you to Amy for taking care of us and to the servers for making sure we wanted for nothing! I cannot wait for the next event and this time I will register with NO hesitation ❤️

    Always fabulous food, multiple never ending high end meat choices cooked to you liking, huge salad bar and outstanding service, a tremendous value considering you can have as much filet mignon, ribeye etc at one set price.
