We went for a lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty. The food was excellent but we had no access to the salad bar. If you wanted something, it was brought to your table. However, the assortment was rather Limited. I go there principally for the grilled Meats. Always good and plenty of it to go around.

Service lacks teamwork...in the past
Teamwork was 5 stars...now the team lacks support..salads don't come around enough.Meat servers don't come around enough.Fogo may have 14 cuts of meat...but my wife and I never saw more than 8 cuts.Meat servers try to serve you meat when you are attempting to eat salads. This
new style of serving lacks teamwork.Rolls and mashed potatoes
shouldn't take 30 minutes to arrive at the table....Servers are using mini tongs to serve salad...c'mon who wants to watch a server take 5 scoop attempts to get a small pile...The average costs for 2 people to eat there is about $160 with tip...at that price you should feel like a KING....Well I used to but not now... Fogo needs
A fine tuning.....or I can't see myself eating there... honestly I'm saddened

Service was absolutely gone. I had to ask for coffee three times to get it served súper later and with an attitude and spilling over in a cup. No one asked how we were doing

We've always enjoyed visiting Fogo de Chao, Minneapolis, it’s always been one of our favorite restaurants. The most recent visit was a few days ago 07/26, wasn't anywhere of what I expected and what we had received in the past regarding service. We arrived 10 or 15 minutes prior to our reservation time and were seated very quickly by a very friendly hostess. Shortly after being seated our wait person arrived at the table to tell us about the specials and to take our drink order. However, during the 60 plus minutes were at the restaurant, that was the only time she visited the table, first disappointment. Granted we are during a Covid time, and certain precautions were being taken care of, which is perfectly understandable. However, during previous visits you were provided with a two-sided coaster to advise the staff when and if we are ready for the meat entrée. No longer available. The Salad bar was brough out to the table at the same time the meat courses were presented, second disappointment, didn’t have any time to enjoy our salads. After that first stint, no one visited our table for 15 minutes or even longer until I flagged another wait staff person of which she was very friendly as well and made sure we were taken care of. Selection of availability of meats were much, much lower than in previous visits, but still at the same prices. As I previously mentioned, Fogo de Chao was one of our favorite restaurants to visit, but it will certainly be questionable if we will visit anymore.

Lovely service per usual. The staff are always nice and attentive, and the food was enjoyable. Being in the middle of a pandemic it felt like there were a lot of people present, although the restaurant is rather large and our table was a good distance from others.

The food and service were fantastic. However, we were sat RIGHT next to the bathrooms (bathroom doors were about 5 ft away and the servers computer about 2 ft). It was really unfortunate, because it kind of put a huge damper on what was supposed to be a romantic night out. Again, food and service were good... just the dang ambiance was way off.

As our first true, full dining experience since restaurants have opened back up, MSP Restaurant Week was the perfect excuse for us to go out.
Everything comes to you at the table, you do not even get up for the salad bar, it comes to you. No Red/Green cards (no touching), nada. Yet, delivery and timing was perfect from all the staff. We had all star service and everything tasted incredible.

If you have yet, to try the churrascaria dining experience at Fogo de Chao, now is the time.

So this was restaurant week! I look forward to going to Fogo every time but I was so disappointed,! The market table was closed and they had only 15 of the 60 items they usually have out and brought to your table individually.

I wish I had known this before I went and I think it was not right that it was not disclosed! So I can’t help but feeling very very disappointed and a little deceived also!

The service was haphazard-!

I will be back – – after COVID-19!!!

To be honest, our last few trips to Fogo were less than memorable and my reviews reflected this. The restaurant was overcrowded and the service was poor because of this. That was pre-COVID. We decided to go back now that there are rules about capacity and social distancing (and because we had some buy one get one free coupons from valentines day).
We were pleasantly surprised. Fogo has a nice system going now with service. It is no longer overcrowded. We no longer had to ask for specific cuts of meat and hope to get them at least once. And we no longer had to pay 16 dollars for an 8 dollar drink (all day half off happy hour! However, keep in mind that this means that fogo can still make a profit at 8 dollars a drink and was charging 16!). Anyway, COVID has made this place better. Continue to offer the top notch service and have the reasonable pricing and we will continue to go back. It was the best experience we have had there since the place first opened in Minneapolis years back.

The service and food are amazing! And the changes due to COVID are certainly understandable. But having a selection of market table entrees brought to your table was a little overwhelming. Plus they started coming to your table almost immediately with the meat selections. We didn’t even have our full party seated yet! But all the servers were exceptional, as well as all the food. No down side there!

It’s been a tradition for our son’s birthday to come here for the last 6 years. Will definitely continue that tradition and hope that COVID will not be invited next year.

Still wonderful, but sadly, with the COVID-19 environment, the Market Table is no longer self-serve. Appears to have cut back on salad bar options, and you have to request most of them to be brought to your table. Hopefully in time, things will be better and we can once again select from the Market Table on our own. Overall, we had a nice evening with good food.

Thank to the people there! Oh my god we had a fantastic night out - fantastic service, excellent recommendation on the house liquor, great photos taken (we are ladies and very picky I would say), and our waitress literally surprised us with our dessert and said it’s to celebrate our friendship. Honestly nothing could be improved.

Lastly, a shout out to Brandi, Sheldon and Mike for making our evening so special. It was a great night out and memories we hold dear to heart~

I am so happy that we went out tonight. It’s almost like there wasn’t a global pandemic. It was spacious, the food was delicious, and everyone was SO kind. We celebrated a birthday and it was the first time we actually felt any normalcy since March. Thank you for making our evening a night to remember. By the way, the new salad bar set up - LOVE it! I love having it offered the same style as the meat. It fits the atmosphere and I hope you continue to do it in the future. We will be back. Thank you so much for a great night!!!
