Amazing food and service as always!
Fogo has definitely gone down. The salad bar that once reigned supreme is a shadow of what it was. This was pre -COVID so, no excuses.
Ambiance wise - it felt like a Luby’s. The saving Grace of our visit were the lamb chops which were deliciously seasoned and not overcooked and our waiter.

This restaurant is excellent for large groups and families. Waiter was very attentive and polite. Will return.
I love that the restaurant was very accommodating with our group since we had a child with us and a few stragglers in our group. Food always impeccable and service quick and friendly.

Not the same quality of meat that I have had in the past. Also the salad bar choices were not as good as the past. We had to continually ask for different cuts of meat because they came around with the same ones every time. Too many Brazilian Steakhouse choices in town to eat here after this experience. So sad to write this review because this used to be an amazing place to dine.

Always a pleasant experience
My spouse and I had 9 o’clock reservations on New Years Eve. We arrived and were told there would be a short wait. We were given a buzzer. We waited near the bar for about 15 minutes before our table was ready. We were given a small table near the entrance. We asked if we could have a different table which was not on the main aisle and were told that it would be a while. We decided to take the table that we were given. The waitress who helped us was nice and attentive. She explained how everything worked and took our drink order. I proceeded to go to the salad bar. When I got back to the table, the waiters began bringing the meats by. This is when it got super annoying. The meat was coming by constantly. We hadn’t even had a chance to finish our salad before our meat plates was full. Our drinks hadn’t even arrived at the table. It felt rushed. It felt as if they were throwing food at us so that we could hurry and finish with the table. From sit down to finish, we were done within 30 minutes. Also, the ambience was poor. The restaurant was very lit and there was no candle on our table. It didn’t feel like a romantic dinner at all. For a $180 meal, I expected it to be a much nicer experience. I was disappointed that we chose this restaurant for our last dinner of 2020.

First time there - food delicious. Very meticulous with their health safety protocols. Staff attentive.
Overpriced for the available selections. Took longer than usual for the server to serve us meats. They kept going to the bigger tables and we got skipped several times despite our repeated requests. Selections were more expansive in the past. I probably wouldn’t recommend Fogo anymore and would rather go to other Brazilian gaucho restaurants with lower price, similar quality of meats and better service

Went for our anniversary and it was amazing! A little bit confusing at first but the food was all amazing!! And the customer service was excellent; everyone was so helpful and nice! Definitely recommended
We had a lovely dinner here on Christmas night. The staff was excellent, the food also great. We felt good about all of the COVID precautions the restaurant was taking.

This is like a high end steak buffet! You have the options of choosing from so many different type of beefs, chicken, and sausage. There’s a cold bar that has the best chicken salad ever and a soup area. Complimentary sides include unlimited Brazilian rolls, mashed potatoes, and fried polenta sticks. The lemonade with alcohol I’d my favorite drink there. My only minus is that the meats weren’t readily available and had to be called for constantly. But the lamb steak was so tender and juicy by far my fav! Great experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Second time for Christmas lunch, and it was fantastic. They did a great job sitting up the restaurant to be COVID compliant. There are so many options that everyone likes to go there.

Our family has eaten at Fogo on Christmas Eve for many years and this year the quality of the meat offerings was not as delicious despite an attentive and conscientious staff.. the restaurant was packed fir the holiday jiwever

The sides were stone cold. The bread was also cold and hard like it was from yesterday. I was most disappointed in our deserts, seriously, I’ve had the same key lime pie since it’s from food service.

Fogo de Chao has always been my favorite Brazilian steakhouse since it opened in Houston 20+ years ago. I have tried a few other new similar type of restaurants in the last few years but in the end I still prefer this Fogo de Chao in terms of salad bar, meat quality and variety, and their house wine selection!
On this visit, the salad bar was opened but now it required a serving attendant to fetch whatever I wanted as we walked along the salad bar stand. Variety remained very good, even though it seemed a bit cumbersome now but I actually preferred it this way than having my choice of salad (offered on menu) to be brought to my table as in other Churrascarias. All this of course is becoming a norm during the Covid pandemic period.
The serving of the meat was efficient and continuous, didn’t experience any long wait. Fogo de Chao was eliminating the use of Red-Green card to indicate if I wanted to be served with the meat by the servers!
The meat quality remained good and consistent from the past!
Overall it is still as great as I expected! It’s my to-go place now for a Brazilian steakhouse or Churrascaria!

The place was well arranged for the COVID-19 pandemic we are living with today. The service was fantastic, and the food was great. We had the special wagyu beef which was just short of a 'life-changing' dining experience. Our waiter was very attentive engaging and provided personal service I will always remember.

The staff was trying to sell us extra items from the second we got there. They had a wine trio gift they presented to us 4 times while we were there. We said we were there with our kids and were not interested in three bottles of wine and yet they kept coming back trying to sell us. They came around with appetizers to sell and upgraded beef sales person! It was awful pressure. We got interrupted every time we tried to have a conversation. It ruined my sons birthday! And it had really gone downhill. It was not a classy place anymore. It was the least relaxing meal I have ever had and we spent $500. Wish I had that back now!

We were for Thanksgiving Dinner and it was great! Excellent food and service.
The food was great and the service was really good. However, for having reserved a table in advance I expected to have a better seating. Instead of being seated right next to the entrance to the kitchen. Would go back but would make sure to request better seating.
We experienced 16 different carved meats. Four of those meats were great. Eight of them were just ok and the bottom four were truly awful. In the bottom four was the lamb which we were most excited to sample. Three different people at our table each had their own piece of lamb and the meat was awful. Tasted as if it was old or as if it was a lower grade cut of meat. It also took a large amount of time to get our drinks to the table. A number of wines and champagnes we asked about that were listed on the menu they were out of. We really have no reason to go back since we can pay the same amount at Perry’s for a perfectly cooked filet along with sides, appetizer and a couple drinks. Just wasn’t worth it.

I’m hesitant to say anything negative as we did go while they were taking special precautions for COVID. The food was good. I think I expected better after the hype I had heard. It was my first time there.
