My tab was on green for more meat to keep coming and didn’t see anybody for a good 30 minutes. They kept skipping our table. Went in party of eight the most horrible experience I’ve had at Fogo de Chão will never be going back to the La Cienega Fogo de Chão.

I was very disappointed. I have been taking family and clients there since it opened and this was the first time I observed an intentional effort to not bring our table the higher end cuts of meat. We had repeat rounds of sausage and chicken, but had to repeatedly ask for, the Ribeye, lamb, filet mignon, etc. Of those cuts after we asked and asked, they came to our table only at the end of our dinner one time. Also, at the beginning, I indicated I was interested in a cocktail, but no one came to take the order and by the time I realized it wasn’t happening, I was so disenchanted with the meat rounds that I decided to skip it. And to top it off, no one offered us dessert. Again, it really disappointing experience.

I feel that based on today’s economy, the quality of their meats has gone down. The taste was awefull. The servers had no class. Dropping the meats on their platter and splashing blood all over our table before we could grab it. Also, a big annoying and almost disrespectful comment, our waitress comes up to our table and instead of welcoming us, asking us for our drink order, she says …. “Are you folks here for the special?” No, I can afford to pay full price, being Hispanic does not mean I am there for any specials. The place is old and outdated. The dark grey carpet looks dirty. Carpets in a restaurant should no be allowed. They comped out dinner, but that’s not what I was after. Dinner ruined.

The food was good. The service is usually good but today was very underwhelming. Very slow, water was not being refilled, meats were not being brought out to the table unless we asked for it. I dislike complaining to the manager and feel that in a restaurant like this the server should do better
