surprised and slightly disturbed to find un-masked waiters. No real Covid acknowledgement going on at all. the meal was better than OK, but nothing outstanding. Atmosphere at Florians always nice.

What a lovely place to come and eat. As a party of 10 + baby in high chair, we were greeted effusively. We had 3 children in our party, and as soon as we arrived they were offered water and something to nibble. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the baby was treated like a prince! He was even treated to his own bowl of cherry tomatoes. The food was excellent in quality, and there was an appropriate gap between courses. We managed to find a reasonably priced, Gavi and Montepulciano on the wine list. The atmosphere was lively, without being noisy. If I didn't live in the West Country I would certainly be back, probably at least once a fortnight.

Florians has become my go-to local restaurant where I know I’ll get excellent food at an affordable price. It’s not cheap and nor should it be. It’s excellent value. We both had the venison main which was tender and delicious. Our primi piatti were also great: one duck ragu with tagliatelle and the other a creative smoked steak tartare that my friend loved. Lovely carafe of Nero to go with it. Tremendous!
